All Those Things We Never Said
Three days before Julia's wedding, she receives a phone call to say that her father, true to form, will not be attending the ceremony. For once, he has a good excuse: He's dead.

Julia finds herself at her father's funeral on the day she was supposed to marry her affable fiance, Adam. The morning after the funeral, she receives an unexpected delivery. A large, wooden crate is dropped off in her living room.

In Bruges, Julia suspects that Michel is not telling her the whole truth, as she appears to spot Christian, his loyal personal assistant, in the crowd. Is he manipulating her as he has always done?

Michel's revelation further confuses Julia, who demands an explanation. Michel simply hands her an unopened letter. It's from Tomas, dated 1991, posted from Berlin and addressed to her.

Julia tells Robert that Tomas is still alive and that she's gone to find him in Berlin. She says she's alone - it's too complicated for her to explain, even to her best friend, that her (dead) father is with her.

Michel and Julia are going back to Julia's old haunts in Berlin. She goes back to where she lived with Tomas, but everything has changed. Michel tells her the story of how he met her mother. A story he had never told her before.

Julia sees Knapp at a gala on her TV and decides to follow him there. At the same time, Tomas prepares to leave Madrid. Julia confronts Knapp and Knapp lies, telling her that Tomas lives in Madrid with his wife where they own a restaurant.

Michel talks (and bribes) his way into getting the archive file on Tomas. He realizes that Knapp lied to his daughter. Tomas has changed his name, which is why they couldn't find him.
S1.E8 ∙ Épisode 8
Julia wants to leave Berlin, but is again convinced by her father to stay and track down Tomas. Meanwhile Knapp tells Tomas that Julia is looking for him. Julia goes back to the place where they first kissed, all those years ago.
S1.E9 ∙ Épisode 9
Adam discovers Michel at Julia's apartment and accidentally "puts him on pause" by sitting on the android's remote control. Completely bewildered by the situation, Adam walks out, leaving Julia to spend one last evening with her father.
