It centers on the lives of a family whose Citizen Score allows them to live a good life. Everything changes when it's revealed that the family's father has falsely kept the Citizen Scores of two of his daughters high to protect them.

A family that lives a comfortable life in a distopic future is suddenly demoted because the father of the family has tampered with the so called score of his children.

The family tries to accommodate to their new life after father has been banned from the city. Not everyone is able to do that as easy as a loss in their score leads to less privileges.

Alex has a recording of her mother, Cato, in which she confesses that she was aware of Pieter's fraud; Milly makes a discovery in the outside world; Hanna gets involved in the resistance.

Milly is on the trail of her father; Cato's score continues to drop; Luz gets unexpected help from regulator Simons; Alex tries to get closer to her family.
