"Arthur's Eyes": After Arthur has an eye exam, he learns that he needs to wear glasses. But when he wears them at school for the first time, Francine calls him a "Four Eyes," and the other kids laugh at him. So he tries to avoid wearing his glasses/"Francine's Bad Hair Day": Francine doesn't care that it's school picture day, but Muffy thinks that she can change Francine's mind and her looks. So Muffy advises Francine to wear a dress and to get her hair styled. But when Arthur and Buster see Francine's new look, they make fun of her.
S1.E2 ∙ Arthur and the Real Mr. Ratburn/Arthur's Spelling Trubble
"Arthur and the Real Mr. Ratburn": Arthur and his classmates are afraid of their new teacher Mr. Ratburn. 4th grader Prunella tells the recent 3rd graders that Mr. Ratburn eats nails for breakfast, he is a vampire with hypnotic powers, and that if you get an answer wrong, he will send you to "Death Row." But is this what Mr. Ratburn is really like?/"Arthur's Spelling Trubble": Arthur is one of the students who will be in the all-school spellathon. He doesn't think that he is good speller, but Mr. Ratburn thinks otherwise. Arthur studies extra-hard, but he feels like he isn't making any progress.

D.W. All Wet: D.W. enjoys her field trip at the aquarium...until she sees an octopus. It gets so hot in Elwood City that Mr. Read suggests that the family should go to Bear Lake. But D.W. refuses to go because she thinks that there are octopuses in the lake./Buster's Dino Dilemma: When Mr. Ratburn's class goes on a field trip to Rainbow Rock State Park, Buster finds a dinosaur fossil and wants to keep it for himself.

D.W.'s Imaginary Friend: Arthur doesn't like D.W.'s imaginary friend Nadine. When Arthur and Buster want to go on this new ride at Wonder World, D.W. begs to go on the ride also. But Arthur thinks that D.W. will embarrass him talking about Nadine in front of his friends./Arthur's Lost Library Book: Arthur borrows a lot of books from the library, including the newest 'Scare-Your-Pants-Off' book, 'The Mysterious Hand'. Arthur forgets that he had 'The Mysterious Hand' and tries to find it before he has to return it.
S1.E5 ∙ Arthur's Pet Business/D.W. the Copycat
Arthur's Pet Business: Arthur wants a dog. His parents will let him have a dog on one condition, that he can prove that he is responsible enough to take care of one. So Arthur decides to run a pet-sitting business. Arthur is careful to follow all the instructions on how to take care of Perky, Mrs. Wood's dog, but no matter what he does, Perky always growls./D.W. the Copycat: When Arthur tells D.W. that everything she likes is boring, she decides to copy Arthur by doing everything he does and by dressing like him.
S1.E6 ∙ Locked in the Library/Arthur Accused!
'Locked in the Library': Francine is mad at Arthur because she heard that he called her a marshmallow. But then they are assigned to work together on a report about heroes. When the two of them do research in the Elwood City Library, they doze off. When they wake up, they realize that the library is closed and won't open until Monday. Will Arthur and Francine ever make up?/ Arthur Accused: Arthur has collected quarters for a new dog for the Elwood City Fire Department, but Mrs. MacGrady says that she never got them. Mr. Haney thinks that Arthur stole the quarters. Can Buster Baxter, Private Eye, prove that Arthur is innocent?
S1.E7 ∙ Arthur Goes to Camp/Buster Makes the Grade
Arthur Goes To Camp: Arthur and his friends go to Camp Meadowcroak. Arthur sends postcards to his family telling them how it's boys vs. girls./Buster Makes the Grade: Buster is getting poor grades in school. Mr. Ratburn tells him that if he doesn't get a B on the next test, 'he won't have the pleasure of joining his friends in the fourth grade.' So Buster's friends try tutoring him.
S1.E8 ∙ Arthur's New Puppy/Arthur Bounces Back
'Arthur's New Puppy': Arthur got the dog that he always wanted, but the problem is that puppy Pal is always making a mess. Can Arthur train him? If not, what will happen to Pal?/'Arthur Bounces Back': Arthur wants to buy 'Moon Boots', but he needs to earn ten dollars, and earning money isn't easy for him.

'Arthur Babysits': Despite warnings from D.W. and Prunella, Arthur babysits the Tibble Twins. As their babysitter, Arthur tries being tough, but the Tibbles keep misbehaving./'Arthur's Cousin Catastrophe': It's time for the annual Read Family Reunion, and Arthur dreads it because his cousin Mo is there, and every year she humiliates him.

'Arthur's Birthday': Arthur has invited all his friends to attend his birthday party. But the problem is that Muffy's birthday party is the same day. Then the boys decide to go Arthur's party and the girls to Muffy's party. But Arthur and Francine think that it would be more fun if everybody was together, so they come up with a plan./'Francine Frensky, Superstar': Whenever Francine is in a school play, she is given the worst role. Her classmates ask Mr. Ratburn to give her a good part, and so he casts Francine as Thomas Edison. But Francine lets the role go to her head.

'Arthur's Baby': Arthur is worried about what it would be like to have a new baby in the house. After Kate is born, she cries whenever Arthur holds her, but doesn't cry when D.W. holds her. When Kate cries nonstop, D.W. and Arthur try to solve the problem./'D.W.'s Baby': D.W. is very happy to have a new baby sister, but she doesn't like her as much when Kate's crying keeps her up at night, or how she stinks up the room with her dirty diapers, and she doesn't like how Kate is getting more attention than her. D.W. comes up with several plans to make Mom and Dad like her more than Kate. But finds out that maybe a big sister is what a little sister really needs. That and a clean diaper. P.U.!...
S1.E12 ∙ Arthur Writes a Story/Arthur's Lost Dog
'Arthur Writes a Story': Mr. Ratburn gives his class an assignment: to write a story either fiction or non-fiction. Arthur decides to write the story of how he got his dog Pal. When he tells his story to D.W., she says that it is boring, and she suggests to make Pal an elephant. Then whenever Arthur tells his changed story to a friend, they keep telling him how it can be improved, and eventually becomes a really bizarre story/'Arthur's Lost Dog': The Read family are out celebrating Downtown Day in Elwood City, and suddenly Kate cries, but Mom, Dad, Arthur and D.W. don't know why. Pal knows that Kate is crying because she wants a balloon, so Pal runs away to get one. Arthur thinks that Pal ran away because he doesn't like Arthur.
S1.E13 ∙ So Long, Spanky/Buster's New Friend
'So Long, Spanky': D.W. has a pet bird named Spanky that she likes because he annoys Arthur, and she can dress him up. But then Spanky becomes sick and dies, and she doesn't want to replace him with any other pet. However, when a toad comes into the Reads' yard and follows D.W. around, she gets frustrated because it won't go away./'Buster's New Friend': Instead of hanging out with Arthur, Buster hangs out with his new friend Mike. Buster boasts about how good Mike is at miniature golf and bowling. Arthur and Buster are supposed to do a science project together, but Arthur is always stuck doing it himself, so Arthur is mad that Buster spends so much time with Mike.
S1.E14 ∙ Arthur the Wrecker/Arthur and the True Francine
'Arthur the Wrecker': Arthur is obsessed with a computer game called "Deep Dark Sea." Without his mom's permission, Arthur plays some of the game so that Buster can see what it's like. When Arthur and Buster fight over the mouse, the computer turns off and they can't seem to be able to turn it back on. Can they fix it before Mrs. Read returns?/'Arthur and the True Francine': Francine reminds Muffy about the time Muffy first attended Lakewood Elementary. When they first met each other Francine and Muffy became fast friends, but Muffy tries to impress Francine more by telling her lies such as at her old school she taught math. Then Muffy copies Francine's answers to the math test, and Francine gets blamed.
S1.E15 ∙ Arthur's Family Vacation/Grandpa Dave's Old Country Farm
'Arthur's Family Vacation': Arthur wants to go to Camp Meadowcroak again this summer, but when D.W. tells him that they're going on a vacation, Arthur is disappointed. The Read Family Vacation is a disaster from the beginning. Plagued by traffic stinky diapers and unplanned pit stops. Their plans on going to the ocean are wrecked by a big rainstorm, so Arthur comes up with alternate activities./'Grandpa Dave's Old Country Farm': Arthur and D.W. spend some time at Grandpa Dave's farm. They are excited about going to the fair, but when they notice that the farm is in so poor of condition that the chickens are in the bedroom, Arthur and D.W. become concerned about Grandpa Dave. Can Dave's friend Ed help change his attitude?
S1.E16 ∙ Arthur and the Crunch Cereal Contest/D.W. Flips
'Arthur and the Crunch Cereal Contest': Arthur tries to write a jingle for the Crunch Cereal contest, but he has trouble making up a good melody./'D.W. Flips': Whenever D.W. starts a new activity, she never wants to practice, but her mom allows her to join a gym class anyway. At the gym class, D.W.'s obstacles include "Miss Perfect" Emily, the teasing Tibbles, and not being able to do a cartwheel.
S1.E17 ∙ Meek for a Week/Arthur, World's Greatest Gleeper
1. "Meek for a Week": Muffy bets Francine that Francine can't be nice for an entire week. 2. "Arthur, World's Greatest Gleeper": Arthur and Buster are stuck sitting at the "Tough Customer Table." Buster tells the Tough Customers that Arthur is really good at gleeping, not knowing what "gleep" means. Eventually, Arthur and Buster learn that "gleep" means "steal," and Arthur's reputation as a thief escalates.
S1.E18 ∙ Arthur's Chicken Pox/Sick as a Dog
'Arthur's Chicken Pox': Arthur feels funny in art class. It turns out that he has the chicken pox. D.W. is jealous of the attention that Arthur is getting because he's sick. Even Grandma Thora gives Arthur special treatment/Sick as a Dog': Mr. and Mrs. Read keep telling Arthur not to give his food to Pal. One day, Arthur finds Pal acting lethargic and making weird noises. Arthur is worried about what the vet will do to Pal, and Arthur blames D.W. for making Pal sick.
S1.E19 ∙ D.W. Rides Again/Arthur Makes the Team
'D.W. Rides Again': D.W. wants to ride in the bike-a-thon, but she has a trike, not a bike. Arthur offers to teach D.W. how to ride her new bike, but after the Tibble Twins tease her about using training wheels, D.W. decides that it is best for her to teach herself./'Arthur Makes the Team': Francine's dad is the new baseball coach. The kids take turns pitching so Coach Frensky can decide who would be the best. Francine pitches the ball too high, and Arthur has trouble catching balls in the outfield. Can the kids get along as a team?
S1.E20 ∙ Arthur's Almost Boring Day/The Half-Baked Sale
'Arthur's Almost Boring Day': Mr. Ratburn gives his students an assignment to write a short report on what they do over the weekend. Arthur, Buster, and Francine planned on going to the park, but the rain ruins their plans. Arthur doesn't want to play with D.W. because he is embarrassed what the other kids will think. Eventually, Arthur and D.W. go over to Grandma Thora's house/'The Half-Baked Sale': Grandma Thora is a terrible cook, but Arthur and D.W. don't want to hurt her feelings. When Thora tells her grandchildren that she is in charge of the school bake sale, Arthur and D.W. try to come up with a way to keep people from buying Thora's cookies.
S1.E21 ∙ Sue Ellen Moves In/The Perfect Brother
'Sue Ellen Moves In': A new family has moved to Elwood City. Buster thinks they're aliens, but Arthur doesn't believe it. All the kids think that the girl, Sue Ellen, is not a normal kid. They have theories that she is an art thief or a spy. Who is she really?/'The Perfect Brother': Brain is spending the weekend at the Reads' house. Arthur is mad at Brain because Brain is always being smarter than him, being neater than him, and eating better than him.
S1.E22 ∙ D.W.'s Snow Mystery/Team Trouble
'D.W.'s Snow Mystery': D.W. has kept a snowball in her freezer ever since last winter. When she discovers that it's missing, she accuses Arthur, Buster, and Francine of stealing it. Everybody has different ideas of what could have happened to the snowball and accuse each other of taking it out of the freezer./'Team Trouble': Arthur, Buster, and Francine are teamed up to do a report on Ancient Rome. Together they agree to make their report creative and decide to do a comic book. Arthur works on the 1st page, Francine the 2nd, and Buster the 3rd. But when they show each other their finished pages, they notice that their completely different and tell the other two kids to change their pages.
S1.E23 ∙ Bully for Binky/Mis-fortune Teller
'Bully for Binky': Binky Barnes in the toughest kid in school, and he's always taking the other kids' desserts! So the picked-on kids try to come up with an "anti-Binky plan." Binky ruins Sue Ellen's attempt to break a rope-jumping record and that makes her mad. So she tells Binky to meet her outside the school at 3:00. When Binky learns that Sue Ellen takes classes of the martial art Tae Kwon Do, he does all he can to avoid meeting Sue Ellen./'Mis-fortune Teller': For Prunella's half-birthday, she receives a fortune-telling device called a "cootie catcher." The kids test it by asking questions about future events. Finally convinced about the power of the cootie catcher, they start asking questions that would make decisions for them.
S1.E24 ∙ Arthur's Tooth/D.W. Gets Lost
'Arthur's Tooth': Francine calls Arthur a baby because he is the only kid in Mr. Ratburn's class who hasn't lost a baby tooth. So Arthur does all he can to get his loose tooth out./'D.W. Gets Lost': When Emily shows D.W. her new earrings, D.W. begs her parents to buy some earrings for her. Mrs. Read tells D.W. that she will take her to the department store so they can look at the earrings together and will make a decision once she sees the earrings. When D.W. and Mrs. Read are at the store, Mr. Crosswire asks Mrs. Read if she can spare 5 minutes to talk. During those 5 minutes, D.W. and her imaginary friend Nadine wander around the store looking for the earrings, but they end up getting lost.
S1.E25 ∙ D.W. Thinks Big/Arthur Cleans Up
'D.W. Thinks Big': Aunt Lucy is getting married. Arthur is the ring bearer. Cousin Cora is the flower girl. D.W. wants to help, but she's too little. When Arthur loses the ring in the church organ, D.W. finally does her part./'Arthur Cleans Up': The park is covered with trash, and Arthur wants to do something about it. Mr. Read comes up with the idea of a "kids' clean-up brigade." He tells Arthur's friends that it was all Arthur's idea, but his friends don't want to help because it means making sacrifices. Francine's dad, who is a garbage man, has all the sanitation workers get involved.
S1.E26 ∙ My Dad, the Garbage Man/Poor Muffy
'My Dad, the Garbage Man': Mr. Ratburn's class has been learning about careers. Muffy's dad, Brain's mom, and Francine's dad have offered to show the class what their jobs are like. But Francine is worried what will happen when the other kids learn that her dad is a garbage man./'Poor Muffy': Muffy is allergic to the new rugs in her house. Francine suggests that Muffy stay at her apartment until all the carpet is taken out. While staying at the Frenskys', Muffy complains about only getting three TV channels, eating leftovers, and not being allowed to play her music really loud.
S1.E27 ∙ D.W.'s Blankie/Arthur's Substitute Teacher Trouble
'D.W.'s Blankie': D.W. takes her blankie with her wherever she goes. But somehow it ends up missing. Arthur promised to watch "Renegade Joe" with Buster, but D.W. persuades Arthur to help her look for her blankie, and D.W. has a lot of crazy theories about what happened to it./'Arthur's Substitute Teacher Trouble': Mr. Ratburn gets sick and his sister Ms. Ratburn is the substitute teacher. The students think that she'll be tough like Mr. Ratburn, but it turns out that she is an easy teacher.
S1.E28 ∙ I'm a Poet/The Scare-Your-Pants-Off Club!
'I'm a Poet': Fern is the only student to sign up for the poetry contest. She bets all the other kids that they can't write a poem, and the kids are up to the challenge./'The Scare-Your-Pants-Off Club!': Kids are waiting in line at the library for the latest book in the 'Scare-Your-Pants-Off' series. But an organization called 'PAWS': Parents Against Weird Stories, wants to ban the books. So Arthur and his friends decide to make petitions to keep the books.
S1.E29 ∙ My Club Rules!/Stolen Bike
'My Club Rules!': The Strawberry Festival is coming to Elwood City, and the kids have ideas for parade floats. When curious D.W. climbs up the treehouse, the kids tell her that they belong to a parade float club and that she can't join. After Muffy says that the treehouse needs fixing up and insists that everyone pays dues, the kids decide to form their own clubs./'Stolen Bike': Francine is embarrassed that her bike is old while everyone else has a new bike. After getting rid of it, she tells everyone that it was stolen.
S1.E30 ∙ Arthur's First Sleepover/Arthur's New Year's Eve
'Arthur's First Sleepover': There are rumors about spaceships, and D.W. wants to take a picture of one. Arthur, Buster, and Brain are having a sleepover in Arthur's yard, and D.W. wants to be at the sleepover too so that she can take pictures of aliens. But, of course, she's not invited, so D.W. decides to pull a prank on them./'Arthur's New Years Eve': For the past few years, Arthur kept on trying to stay up until midnight for the new year, but he always fell asleep. This year he decides to not stay up at all, until his friends tell him what happens every year. But they all have different stories.
S2.E1 ∙ Arthur Meets Mister Rogers/Draw!
Arthur tries to keep his friends from learning that Mr. Rogers is staying at his house; Francine becomes the target of nasty cartoons.
S2.E2 ∙ Binky Barnes, Art Expert/Arthur's Lucky Pencil
1. "Binky Barnes, Art Expert": Arthur and Buster are teamed up with Binky to do a report on a piece of art from the museum. Arthur and Buster think that they're doomed, and decide to let Binky do his report while they do a report on a different piece of art. 2. "Arthur's Lucky Pencil": Arthur uses a pencil that seems to be lucky and then lends it to his friends. But it gets shorter and shorter, so Arthur decides to use it for emergencies only.
S2.E3 ∙ D.W., the Picky Eater/Buster and the Daredevils
'D.W. the Picky Eater': Because D.W. made a big fuss over the salad she was served had spinach, her mom says that she can't eat at restaurants until she learns to eat everything on her plate. Can Arthur get D.W. to eat spinach?/'Buster and the Daredevils': Arthur and Buster want Toby and Slink to teach them some skating tricks, but Toby and Slink say that they have to do some dares first. Arthur quits before the first dare, but Buster keeps on fulfilling dare after dare.
S2.E4 ∙ Go to Your Room, D.W/Arthur Makes a Movie
'Arthur Makes a Movie': Because Arthur and his friends are too young to see a real "James Hound" movie, they decide to make their own/Go to Your Room, D.W.: D.W. thinks that it is unfair that she is being punished and that it's all Kate's fault.
S2.E5 ∙ Arthur's Underwear/Francine Frensky, Olympic Rider
1. "Arthur's Underwear": Arthur can't stop laughing about Binky's pants splitting during class, until Arthur keeps having nightmares about his underwear. Can Buster help make the bad dreams go away? 2. "Francine Frensky, Olympic Rider": Francine has saved up enough money for riding lessons, but her sister Catherine has to take her. It turns out that Catherine is better at riding a horse than Francine is. Francine is humiliated when she overhears Stanley the instructor tell Catherine that Francine is not quite up to her level.
S2.E6 ∙ Buster Baxter, Cat Saver/Play it Again, D.W.
Buster "saves" a cat that was stuck a tree. When people start calling him a hero, this goes to his head. D.W. suspects Arthur as the perpetrator when her favorite Crazy Bus Theme Song CD, which she plays relentlessly, disappears.
S2.E7 ∙ Arthur's TV-Free Week/Night Fright
Arthur's TV-Free Week: It's trouble, right here in Elwood City. The kids--and their parents--have all pledged not to watch TV for one whole week. That's days, hours, and a whole bunch of minutes (10,680 to be exact, as Buster is horrified to discover). Can they last? Who will be the first to break? Night Fright: Big, brave Binky Barnes. He'd be toast if people ever discovered he can't sleep without a night light. It's his deepest, darkest secret. When Arthur spends the night, and discovers the truth, Binky has no choice but to try... bribery.
S2.E8 ∙ Arthur vs. the Piano/The Big Blow-Up
Arthur vs. The Piano: "Local Boy Wrecks Concert!" "Bad, Bad Musician!" These are the headlines Arthur can all-too-easily imagine, after he gets stage fright during a rehearsal. Now he's terrified of playing to another audience. Will he be able to get through his recital without any mistakes? Or should he just move far, far away? The Big Blow-Up: When two very opinionated friends butt heads, look out! Can Francine and The Brain put aside their differences (their "rancor," as Brain would describe it) for the good of the soccer team? Probably not--so Arthur and Buster decide to "write" some wrongs.
S2.E9 ∙ Lost!/The Short, Quick Summer
Lost!: For an eight-year-old, Arthur is usually pretty cool. Except for D.W., there's not too much that upsets him. But one day, Arthur falls asleep on a bus and awakens in a strange--and scary--part of town. Will he ever find his way home? Can he keep himself from crying? And will D.W. ever forgive Arthur for scaring her like that? The Short, Quick Summer: Summer vacation is over? It just started! What about all those great, fun things Arthur intended to do--like have adventures and explore the unfathomable mysteries of space? As Arthur learns, you don't have to go far from home to have a great summer.
S2.E10 ∙ D.W. Goes to Washington/Arthur's Mystery Envelope
D.W. Goes to Washington: D.W.'s on her way to Washington. (Someone should have called ahead and warned the government). She's bored, bored, BORED by it all until she gets lost during a tour of the White House. A kind employee reunites her with her family and invites them all in for pizza. (Come to think of it, the guy sure has a nice office. And doesn't he look a little... familiar?) Arthur's Mystery Envelope: When Mr. Haney gives Arthur a sealed envelope to bring home to Mom, Arthur fears the worst. (His friends are only too eager to help him imagine what "the worst" might be.) Is Arthur being sentenced to summer school? Does he HAVE to give the envelope to Mom, or could he just sort of... misplace it?
S2.E11 ∙ D.W.'s Deer Friend/Buster Hits the Books
D.W.'s Deer Friend: The Reads go on a camping trip, and D.W. wants to bring a little bit of nature back home--a rather large deer named Walter! Buster Hits the Books: Somehow, Buster has managed to get through school without ever reading a book. But now the pressure's on--he's got just one week to finish a whole, entire book--with CHAPTERS!-- and write about it! Will he live to tell the tale?
S2.E12 ∙ Arthur's Faraway Friend/Arthur and the Square Dance
Arthur's Faraway Friend: Arthur's in the midst of writing a great adventure story with Buster when he gets some very bad news--Buster is leaving town to go live with his Dad for a while. Is this the end of their story? Is it the end of their friendship? Arthur and The Square Dance: Does Francine have a crush on Arthur? That's what Binky thinks--and soon even Arthur is beginning to wonder. Can Arthur avoid Francine, and her cooties, for the rest of his life?
S2.E13 ∙ Water and the Brain/Arthur the Unfunny
Water and The Brain: Is The Brain a snob? That seems to be the only explanation for why he won't go to Waterworld with the rest of his friends. But Arthur concludes that theory is all wet as he tries to discover what's really bugging the Brain. Arthur The Unfunny: Arthur's a notorious joke-killer. But when he's scheduled to perform as a carnival clown, Arthur decides he'll learn how to make people laugh--or else!

Sue Ellen's Lost Diary: Poor Sue Ellen has lost the one thing she's never without--her diary. But as her friends help her look for it, they start to wonder--how come she won't let them read it? What's IN this diary anyway? Arthur's Knee: Arthur's hurt his knee but won't tell Mom--because then she'd know he'd been playing down at the dump. (Where he was NOT allowed to go). Can The Brain and D.W. convince Arthur to face up to it and take his tetanus shot like a man--umm, an aardvark?
