At Home with the Braithwaites
At Home with the Braithwaites is a British comedy-drama television series, created and written by Sally Wainwright. The storyline follows a suburban family from Leeds, whose life is turned upside down when the mother of the family wins 38 million pounds on the lottery. It was broadcast on ITV, for 26 episodes, from 20 January 2000 to 9 April 2003. At the beginning of the first series, each member of the Braithwaite family has an issue. Alison has to decide what to do with the winnings, and when to tell her family. David is having an affair with Elaine, his secretary at work. Virginia is on the verge of flunking out of university. Sarah has a crush on her drama teacher. Charlotte suspects that her mother may be the mystery lottery winner.

Season 3, Episode 1
Alison reveals she is pregnant, but neglects to tell husband David that the baby is actually his brother's. Phil's mother plans to christen William behind the family's back.
Season 3, Episode 2
David makes a last-ditch effort to save his marriage as the press continue to hound the family. Meanwhile, Sarah's affair gets her into hot water.
Season 3, Episode 3
David and Alison decide to have one last go at resolving the divorce out of court. As her wedding day dawns, Megan discovers what Virginia's been up to with Tamsin.
Season 3, Episode 4
Sarah exacts a daring and inventive revenge on cheating teacher Daniel, while a death in the family reconciles Alison and David.
Season 3, Episode 5
Alison reaches the end of her tether with David and Graham, and throws them both out. Beth becomes increasingly convinced Megan has been having an affair with Daniel.
Season 3, Episode 6
David and Graham go on the run and Alison fears the worst after seeing a TV news report about a robbery. Beth is desperate for revenge and holds Megan at knifepoint out on the moors.
