Helen is determined to tackle the high level of drug abuse on G-Wing. She has learned that the prison's random testing policy is anything but, and she is shocked to learn that her POs test women they know are clean to avoid unnecessary paperwork.

Rachel is besotted with Fenner and asks him if they will still be able to see each other when she is released from prison. She gives him a love letter but he destroys it.

Zandra has decided that she wants to abort Robin's baby. Although Helen concedes that she's probably doing the right thing, she remains troubled by the inmate's motives. Handcuffed to Lorna and Dominic, Zandra is escorted to the clinic.

Dominic has his hands full with a new inmate, Jessie Devlin, a chronic alcoholic. After a period spent drying out, Jessie is moved to G-Wing where she is soon marked out as an easy target for a spot of bullying by Shell.

Zandra gives birth and battles with her addiction, putting her future with her baby at risk, she climbs on to the roof in protest. Fenner gets his feet under the table as Wing Governor only for Helen to return and cut his reign short. Shell continues to torment Fenner's wife and has a mobile phone smuggled into the prison.

Nikki's temper gets the better of her ahich results in being shipped out and the end of her relationship with Helen. Shell provides Marilyn with the proof of Fenner's infidelity but it backfires when Fenner realises Nikki is innocent.

Julie J gets news that her children will be in England for their grandfathers funeral and Yvonne helps her to see them. New officer, Di Barker, arrives to replace Fenner. Karen becomes the new Wing Governor. Fenner plots to get his job back. Sylvia gets her comeuppance when she is confronted by the inmates.

The Julies do some matchmaking for Crystal. Denny gets the wrong idea when her mum fails to arrive at visiting time. Fenner decides to file an official grievance against Karen.

New prisoners arrive at Larkhall. Fenner connives to arrange for Yvonne to have conjugal visits in return for cash. The inmate group therapy sessions finally begin.

Karen reprimands Sylvia for her recent bad attitude and signs her up for physical training. Zandra discovers she needs glasses. Shell acts up during group therapy causing unrest throughout the entire wing. Josh makes Crystal an offer.

Helen is back at Larkhall in a working capacity and begins researching Nikki's case. Zandra's health concerns worsen. Yvonne receives some compromising photographs of Fenner.

Yvonne corrals the girls into joining her new money-making scheme: the "Babes Behind Bars" phone sex hot line. Zandra's medical test results are revealed. Shell's mum comes to visit.

Josh calls it quits with Crystal and leaves Larkhall. The girls have a "leaving" party for Zandra. Shell steals Barbara's diary. New arrival Shaz causes a stir.

Denny and Shaz do some after hours sneaking around. Yvonne's nemesis arrives at Larkhall. Brooding Julie takes drastic measures to try and conceive.

Renee makes enemies of many of the G Wing inmates. Nikki's appeal process reveals new information. Helen begins the lifers group sessions. Fenner is more interested in drinking than working. Denny and Shaz cause trouble for Silvia.

G Wing is in uproar after Shell stabs Fenner then barricades her cell door. Helen tries to persuade Nikki to return to Larkhall instead of absconding.

As Fenner recuperates in hospital, Helen heads the internal investigation into his stabbing. Sylvia arranges for Shell's transfer to Larkhall's "Muppet Wing" where a surprise cell mate awaits. Nikki remains in a state of heartbreak.

The two Julies apply for an ankle tag release. Sylvia organises the screws to simultaneously take a sick day as a form of protest. Yvonne takes charge as the G Wing inmates are left to fend for themselves.

Dom's replacement PO arrives on G Wing. Barbara gets a visit from her stepchildren. Yvonne arranges a legal meeting with her "solicitor". Di tries to persuade Josh to make a change of career.

Fenner returns to work. Nikki receives some good news regarding her case. Yvonne testifies at Charlie's trial. Shaz and Denny get a new cellmate, who inspires them to try DIY tattoos and piercings. The G Wing pool competition takes place.

The two Julies discover a stray cat. Di shows Josh the ropes. Helen moves Podger to G Wing, much to the annoyance of everyone else. Someone sets fire to Nikki's cell.

Helen is still reeling from her sexual assault. A reality TV crew arrives at Larkhall to document life on G Wing. Fenner concocts an escape plan for Shell.
S3.E8 ∙ Uninvited Guests
On the run, Shell and Denny decide to pay the Hollambys a surprise visit. Back at Larkhall, Fenner continues to cover his tracks as the investigation into the escape gets underway.
S3.E9 ∙ Common Criminal
No-one takes kindly to Charlotte, the supercilious new arrival on G Wing. Crystal is back at Larkhall after being framed by Shell, and the devious Di is appointed as her personal officer. A newspaper reporter makes a deal with Buki.

Helen is appointed as acting governor. Crystal is on hunger strike to protest her positive drugs test and Charlotte tries to help clear her name. Di continues her pursuit of Josh.

The Peckham Boot Gang begin their plan to take over G Wing, starting with Shaz. Nikki tries to help new inmate Femi who is unable to speak english. A peaceful protest quickly gets out of hand.

The standoff between PO's and inmates continues, forcing Helen to crack the whip. The Julies release day approaches. Nikki and Caroline become close.

The Julies are swiftly taken back to Larkhall where they are reunited with an old acquaintance. Di sets her sights on Gina's boyfriend. Al continues to bully Shaz.

Shaz can't take much more bullying, and Dr Waugh offers her some help. Virginia is not all she appears to be. Helen makes an accusation against Fenner. Mark tries to win Gina back.

Helen is struggling to uncover any solid evidence against Fenner. Josh receives an unexpected package. Crystal is set to have her day in court.

Nikki prepares for her appeal alone when Helen decides to resign from Larkhall. Crystal shares some news. Yvonne and Virginia agree to turn the tables on Fenner.

Virginia's murder investigation begins. Karen suspects the mounting number of allegations against Fenner may be true. Yvonne takes desperate measures with the help of Josh and the two Julies.
S4.E2 ∙ Unholy Alliances
Fenner and Karen foil the escape. Yvonne's lawyer advises her to plead guilty to Virginia's murder. The new governor arrives at Larkhall. Sylvia is put in charge of the G Wing tuck shop. Di takes a liking to the new PO.
S4.E3 ∙ Behind Closed Doors
Di and Barry announce their engagement. Karen is back in uniform following her demotion, and Fenner settles in his new role as her replacement wing governor. Shaz makes an allegation against Mr. Pearce.
S4.E4 ∙ Fait Accompli
Denny is back at Larkhall. The girls try to warn Di about marrying the volatile Barry. Yvonne teams up with Fenner to try and take down Maxi and Al.
S4.E5 ∙ Only the Lonely
The truth is out about Virginia's murder. Fenner becomes Neil's new lodger. The computer illiterate Sylvia begins teaching the new IT class. Shaz and Denny hatch an audacious escape plan.
S4.E6 ∙ Sweet Sixteen
Buki has stopped breathing following the escape tunnel cave-in, and Sylvia rushes to help. Fenner is jealous about Karen and Mark's fledgling relationship. Julie J. is reunited with her teenage daughter.
S4.E7 ∙ Pillow Talk
Fenner wisens up to Neil's intention and falls victim of harassment in the workplace. Tina and Noreen replace the Julie's in the kitchen and serve nothing but chaos. Karen and Mark grow close. Shaz and Denny go a step too far when they humiliate Buki.
S4.E8 ∙ Prison Issue
Yvonne seeks retribution on behalf of Buki which drives a wedge between Shaz and Denny. Neil plays Di like a pawn to keep his secret covered up as Fenner begins to crumble. Roisin begins to take drugs. Maxi befriends an upset Shaz but has an alterior motive which spells danger for Yvonne.
S4.E9 ∙ Baby on Board
Shaz turns to Denny when Maxi reveals her true colours. Crystal goes into labour and Buki becomes attached to her.
S4.E10 ∙ Family Matters
Karen is left shaken by her ordeal. Crystal, upset with the living conditions on the mother and baby unit, plots an escape to free baby Zandra from Larkhall. Buki spends time with Baxter but their time together comes to an end.
S4.E11 ∙ Battle Lines
The death of Baxter has an impact on the ladies of G-Wing. Sylvia becomes Acting Wing Governor which causes chaos when Karen refuses to step in. Maxi attempts to prove herself to the others which ends in disaster following a fight with Shaz.
S4.E12 ∙ Appearances' Sake
The inspection comes to an end. A dead body is found in the chapel when Crystal explodes in frustration. An inmate is out on the ghost train out of Larkhall in the middle of the night.
S4.E13 ∙ True Colours
Snowball Merriman arrives. Denny spends her 21st birthday down the block when she attacks Bodybag. Yvonne gets a surprise visit from her estranged son, Richie.
S4.E14 ∙ Hard Knock Life
Rhiannon feels remorse following her performance in court when Damian shows his true colours. Denny's joy is short lived when Bodybag finds Jessie. Di and Neil strike a deal to end their anguish. Mark is transferred. Crystal is released early to prevent any more trouble. Roisin falls back on to drugs.
S4.E15 ∙ Marriage of Inconvenience
Fenner falls victim to Neil at his stag night when it is just the two of them. Karen's returns to Larkhall as Wing Governor and reveals the truth to Yvonne about her relationship with Richie. Snowball gets Fenner on her side as she continues to manipulate everybody.
S4.E16 ∙ Curtain Call
G-Wing hosts an open day for potential investors following the proposed privatisation of Larkhall. Denny awaits Shaz's inter prison visit. Snowball goes ahead with her escape plan which leaves several inmates in danger as they become trapped in the burning library.
S5.E1 ∙ Episode #5.1
Fenner and the Larkhall screws visit Amsterdam for a dirty weekend. With the mystery firearm still missing, G Wing remains in lockdown. Snowball is released from solitary, and Denny is out for revenge.

Shell settles back in to life on G Wing. Sylvia and Bobby's financial woes continue. Barbara's hearing returns.

Snowball meets up with Ritchie following her escape. Sylvia is distraught following Bobby's suicide. Two new inmates arrive on G Wing.

Snowball poisons herself in a bid to be with Richie. Shell goes into labour but her joy is short lived when Fenner double crosses her.

Denny demands to know what happened between Collin and Shell as word of Shell's departure spreads. Di ropes Tony into helping her have a baby.

Yvonne organises a protest to prevent the privatisation of Larkhall, taking celebrity guest, Christopher Biggins, hostage amidst the press. Collin uses Fenner's attempt to frame Yvonne for possession of drugs to his advantage. Snowball and Richie make a final bid to be together, in a suicide pact.

Fenner sets up Yvonne when she returns from Richie's funeral. Julie S finds a lump on her breast.

Six weeks after Yvonne's escape attempt and Kris follows in her footsteps but makes a grisly discovery. Two new inmates arrive, one with a secret more deadly than the other. Collin spirals out of control and relapses. Fenner begins to unravel as his dark secret begins to come to light.

The police arrive to question the staff about Yvonne's escape attempt and Fenner begins to crack. Frances reveals her true identity to the inmates and rubs several inmates and officers the wrong way. New inmate Darlene Cake arrives and ruffles some feathers. Collin attempts to commit suicide.

Bev is saved in the nick of time. Francis takes a tough stance on drugs and begins a tough regime for Phyl until she reveals her stash. Julie J falls for Collin while Julie S has revenge in mind and targets Fenner. Fenner had a mental breakdown and protests his innocence to the women.

New inmate Janan Hammad arrives and mounts the rooftop to protest her innocence along with the Julies, Tina and Darlene. Phyl gives up on dealing. Fenner returns to Larkhall on a mission to get even with Kris.

Natalie returns to G Wing and manipulates the women into believing her innocence. Fenner is sectioned. Francis asks for Collins' support when she announces that the officers will also be drug tested.

In a cross-over from Footballers' Wives, Tanya Turner, arrives in Larkhall facing drug charges. Tina's serves out Phyl & Bev's hooch. The women are struck down with a mystery "virus" which claims the life of an inmate. Collin confesses to Francis. Selena heads to Canada to find Millie. Darlene becomes the key to Tanya's freedom which also entangles Francis in a game of cat and mouse with an old friend, Rick Revoir.

The cause of Al's death remains undetermined. G Wing is quarantined following the suspected viral outbreak. Fenner returns and spreads the rumour that Colin may be responsible for Yvonne's murder.

Following her escape, Kris meets up with Selena. Karen's convinced that CCTV can prove her innocence. Tina thinks she's pregnant. Bev names Al's murderer during a psychic reading. Di and Jim's wedding day arrives.

Fenner adjusts to life on the inside, whilst Tina adjusts to life on the outside. Grayling plans to turn G Wing into a flagship for change in the prison system. The Julies catch Ben kissing Buxton. Two new inmates arrive at Larkhall.

Fenner is released from prison and is reinstated as G Wing governor. Sylvia is still plagued by her voodoo curse, but soon perks up when she receives some good news in the post. The inmates band together to try and take down Buxton.

Fenner claims he was raped during his time in prison to get Di off his back. Arun suffers as Janine teams up with Buxton. Dr Nicholson continues his gold digging pursuit of Sylvia.

A high profile murder suspect arrives at Larkhall. Jim plans to have a vasectomy unbeknownst to Di. The two Julies get their own back on Darlene.
