Cricket must wrestle a wild animal in order to prove himself worthy of the Green family name. Cricket finds a blue potato and believes the family is cursed with bad luck from it.

When the Greens visit an indoor pool, Cricket is challenged to jump off the high-dive. Tilly claims that their goat has the spirit of a dog and enters it in a dog show.

After Chip Whistler demolished the buildings around the Greens' house to build a new Wholesome Foods store, Cricket must encourage his family to fight for what's right and save their home.

When Gloria's parents visit, she ropes the Greens into escalating lies about her success; Cricket goes on a quest to find the best pool in Big City.
