Kayleigh has moved house and now takes the bus to work but still rings John on his car-phone and needs his help when she gets lost. John meanwhile falls foul of an angry cyclist and ultimately it looks as if the former car-sharers need to their old partnership, despite the vengeful cyclist's You Tube upload and Kayleigh's new boyfriend Steve.
Kayleigh and John car share to a work fancy dress shindig, however they have an unwanted guest on the way home - Elsie who 'is saying nothing'.
Kayleigh is desperate for a day off and is trying to twist John's arm to bunk off to the zoo. Will he listen to her?
John's Nan sits in for a parcel while he is at work. On the way home, Kayleigh and John have a chat about their relationship. Will they end the series as Car Share buddies, or more?
John drives Kayleigh home from work, reacting to songs on the radio and discussing stroke treatment, favourite meals and John's school trip to France. John is surprised when Kayleigh admits that she had her first boyfriend - now in prison - at the age of thirteen but secretly pleased when she suggests a - sort of - dinner date.
John uses a song he recorded to get Kayleigh back in the car...just for old times' sake.
