16-year-old Denji has been burdened with a massive debt left behind by his deceased father. To repay the debt, he works as a Devil Hunter with Pochita, the dog-resembling Chainsaw Devil.

Denji and Makima arrive at the Devil Hunters Headquarters in Tokyo.
S1.E3 ∙ Meowy's Whereabouts
Denji has decided that his new dream is "to fondle some boobs." His partner, Power, offers to let him feel her boobs if he rescues her pet cat Meowy from a devil. With his dream in sight, Denji is all fired up and ready to go, until -
S1.E4 ∙ Rescue
After a fierce battle, Denji defeats the Bat Devil and rescues Power even after she had trapped him. He says it is all for the sake of "touching Power's boobs". Power mocks his ridiculous motivation saying "that's a pretty dumb reason", but still agrees to let him fondle her boobs. As Denji gets thrilled with the idea, he faces a sudden attack from out of nowhere.
S1.E5 ∙ Gun Devil
Aki Hayakawa, Denji, and Power start living together. Denji finally fulfills his dream of touching Power's boobs, but is shocked when things do not turn out the way he expected. As Denji realizes that chasing his dream was more fun than achieving it, Makima approaches him and says, "If you can kill the Gun Devil, I'll grant you one wish."
S1.E6 ∙ Kill Denji
Stuck on the Morin hotel's eighth floor, Denji and the group are forced to devise a plan to stop the Devil that's causing the time warp. They get an answer when the Devil speaks to them, asking for Denji's life in exchange for freedom.
S1.E7 ∙ The Taste of a Kiss
There needs to be a sacrifice, and Denji is going to be the one to make it. In a surprising turn of events, the Eternity Devil seems to know who Denji is.
S1.E8 ∙ Gunfire
Denji experiences his first, yet devastating, kiss. An intoxicated Denji is taken to Himeno's house, where she starts seducing him. Feeling torn between Makima, whom he admires, and Himeno, who is standing in front of him.
S1.E9 ∙ From Kyoto
A fierce battle unfolds between Denji and the menacing Samurai Sword. After seemingly being killed, Makima turns out to be alive. She sets out to rescue Denji with the help of Public Safety Devil Hunters from Kyoto, Kurose and Tendo.
S1.E10 ∙ Bruised & Battered
Samurai Sword's vicious attack resulted in many lost personnel for Public Safety Devil Extermination Division 4. Meanwhile, Makima introduces Denji and Power to a member of Public Safety to act as their mentor to strengthen Division.
S1.E11 ∙ Mission Start
Aki Hayakawa meets the Future Devil and asks him what he'd like to trade in exchange for his abilities. The Future Devil tells Hayakawa if he lets him reside in his right eye, he'll let him use his powers.
S1.E12 ∙ Katana vs. Chainsaw
Denji, Makima, and the rest are taking down the rogue Yakuza who made a deal with the Gun Devil.
