Four chefs compete to use unconventional items while making three variations of doughnuts: sweet, spicy, and filled. They must use the given ingredients and any others for each of the three rounds. The mandatory ingredients include unique items such as Queen Weaver ants, black licorice caramels, instant spicy ramen noodles, guava, duck confit in a can, and whipped cream cheese.

Four chefs are challenged to make desserts with very expensive ingredients. They must use the given ingredients and any others for each of the three rounds: chocolate, fruity, and baked desserts. The mandatory ingredients include unique items such as snail caviar, black tie caramel apples, vanilla beans, 25-year aged balsamic vinegar, crème brûlée cake, and rosé gummy bears.
