Crackanory
"Crackanory" is a storytelling television series aimed at adults, inspired by the popular children's series "Jackanory." Each episode features two 15-minute tales narrated by contemporary comedians and actors, containing a mix of live action and animation, and all read from the same oversized chair.

An am-dram group must keep their audience laughing when a bomb is discovered. In the second story a girl gets a job at an abattoir but can't bring herself to kill the animals.

After lying to his colleagues about being married, Alan must find a date for the office awards night. A man gets into trouble when he sends a text to his boss instead of his wife.

A student tries to convince his superstitious, elderly landlady that her beliefs are unfounded. A man tries to prevent his girlfriend discovering the CIA agent living under their house.
