Gangland crime drama set in small-town Ireland. Damien, a young MMA fighter with dreams of escaping his tough neighbourhood, is held back by his struggling family and his brother Wes's involvement with the local drug gang. On the eve of a big fight, a major drug deal goes wrong and Wes goes missing, events which drag Damien into a dangerous new world potentially fraught with violence and even murder.

Damien's brother Wesley is missing, leaving the Dunne family struggling both emotionally and financially. Keegan gang leader Goose is released from prison, When a body is recovered by the police, the situation between the rival gangs escalates.

The feud between the gangs intensifies. Damien's relationship with Nicola comes under increasing pressure from all sides.

At Ian's funeral, the gang members are full of hurt and anger. Keith is sufficiently distraught to want revenge but Damien tries to stop him.

Damien's chances of competing in his big fight are in jeopardy. Paddy grows concerned over Damien's involvement with Butsy.

In the first season finale, Damien vows revenge when he finally discovers the fate of his brother, Wesley. He still struggles however in both protecting his family and maintaining his MMA dreams. Meanwhile Bernie puts her plan into action, the Keegan gang face annihilation.
