Former Tennessee Titan quarterback Steve McNair, has been found dead in his condo with a young female in an apparent double homicide. With a high-profile case on its hands the Chief of Police give the case to Det. Pat Postiglione.

Police is called to a homicide at a truck stop. They quickly identify the victim as Sara Hulbert. That's when Pat recognizes an unlikely pattern, leading to a race against the clock to apprehend an active killer before he murders again.

In 2004, Detective Postiglione investigates a double homicide of two young college students in an apartment near a Nashville university. When a third victim is gunned down, Pat launches a state-wide manhunt to catch a ruthless killer.
