A new doctor starts at the Mill, Dr. Joe Fenton. He's moved to Letherbridge with his precocious teenage daughter, Emily.
Joe organizes for Emily to spend a day with Ronnie on work experience at his law firm, only causes complete havoc and is asked to leave.
Emily confides in Nick about having missed a few periods. He agrees to check her out.
A baby has been taken from the local hospital, and the woman has parked her car, with baby, on the local railway line. Jimmi and Eva are in a race against time to find them before the worst happens.
Ronnie takes George to a wife swapping party, but doesn't tell her what kind of party it is. She's a bit shocked.
The Mill Health Center wins the contract to run the University Campus surgery, with Ruth as its receptionist.

The grand opening of the new campus surgery ends in disaster when a dead body is found.
At the Campus the surgery of death graffiti has been mostly scrubbed off. Ruth is having a crisis of confidence as she battles with the computer system. Michelle helps Ruth get things sorted and the two girls bond.Later in the day Ruths boyfriend Davey turns up at the Campus surgery with a bouquet of flowers for Ruth. Michelle is impressed by how nice he seems. Ruth tells a jealous Michelle of Daveys plan to take her to dinner that evening. Michelle reassures Ruth that she is doing well at the Campus. Ruth smiles but disappears as she looks at herself in the mirror.Meanwhile, Jason Junior Neville (28) is cooking breakfast when Tony Crawford (27) enters, he is leaving a voicemail to his wife Ali. He pulls a bottle of acamprosate out of the cupboard. The radio seems to be getting louder and Tony is struggling. He looks at the calendar and realises he has missed a doctors appointment to get a repeat prescription. Junior tells him he doesnt need them to stay off the drink, Tony is not so sure.At the Mill Daniel asks Vivien if Tony Crawford has called to rearrange his missed appointment. When told he hasnt Daniel sets off to speak to Tony.At Tonys Daniel discovers Junior is an old army mate of Tonys. Daniel asks Tony to reconsider his decision to stop taking the medication. Junior assures Daniel that he will be there to help Tony. Something about Junior rubs Daniel up the wrong way. Daniel manages to get Tony to accept a new prescription. Daniel is about to drive away from Tonys when he spots Junior selling packets of cigarettes to some teens from Tonys flat.Daniel goes back to speak to Tony. Tony explains that he and junior where in Afghanistan together and the vehicle they were in got hit by a grenade and ho Junior came back to save him and got badly injured. Daniel raises his concerns about what Junior might really be selling in the cigarette packets. Tony quickly defends Junior and shows Daniel the door.Back at the Mill Daniel is discussing Tonys situation with Vivien when Jimmi overhears and suggest it sounds like a case of cuckoo-ing to him. It means that a drug dealer will supply from someone elses house and when the police move in the dealer blames the tenant and the tenant could end up in jail or lose his home.Back at the flat Tony is getting more and more agitated by the television. The noise seems to be getting louder. Junior appears and Tony tells him that Daniel thinks he is dealing. Junior manages to reassure Tony that Daniel is wrong.Tonys wife Ali comes to the Mill to speak to Daniel and Daniel tells her he is concerned about the influence Junior is having over him. Daniel convinces Ali to come to Tonys with him. She tries to get Tony to see that Junior is using him, he wont listen and she leaves. Tony confronts Junior and asks him to leave. Junior refuses and threatens to take Tony down with him if the police arrest him. Tony leaves a newsagents with a bag of beer. He opens one but as he drinks from it he sees a mother and child, this reminds him of what he is risking and he throws the bag of booze away.Daniel drives Ali home and questions whether Tony has ever had any tests since the attack in Afghanistan. Daniel thinks Tony might have suffered a mild traumatic brain injury and this might account for some of his symptoms. Tony arrives and explains Juniors threat. Ali can smell the alcohol and refuses to listen to Tony. Daniel convinces him that his only option is to speak to the police.We see Junior outside Tonys flat exchanging cash for a packet of cigarettes when an unmarked police car pulls up. Junior rushes inside. The police break the door down ad catch Junior with drugs in his hand. Junior sneers at Tony as he is taken away. Tony feels terrible as Junior was his hero. Daniel tells Tony that he thinks he might be suffering some after affects of the grenade attack and that he has booked him for an MRI scan at St Phils. Ali arrives with Rae.
A bunch of highly sexed film students discuss the merits of Titanic. Meanwhile Jimmi sings to Eva at a party. They kiss.
DI Eva rushes to the rescue when Jimmi and a collection of passengers get stuck on a Letherbridge bus with a suspected suicide bomber.
Ruth goes up against Davey when she joins the girls for a girls night in and a make-over. He punishes her by shoving her head under a boiling shower.
Ruth's psychosis and belief that she is Michelle almost ends in tragedy with the near death of a patient. Michelle discovers the truth about Ruth's relationship with her half brother Adam, and Melody is forced into having her sectioned under section 4 of the mental health act.
Ruth's condition gets worse as she is questioned by the doctors at the Beeches House Mental Heath Unit, and spends her first night there. Adam and Michelle try to come to terms with Ruth's deception, and Melody feels guilty over her decision to have Ruth committed.
Melody and the rest of the staff try and get their heads around the sectioning of Ruth, and wonder how they all missed the signs. Karen goes to a funeral.

Ruth's treatment at The Beeches continues slowly, where she is plagued by nightmares and hallucinations of herself, her dead twin sister Vicky, and Michelle. Melody tries, and fails to see her, so Julia finally goes and is shocked by how she finds Ruth.
Ruth tries to put her feelings down in the form of a letter. Daniel helps an old friend who is in a messy relationship.
Ruth starts her group therapy sessions at the Beeches, and talks about the still birth of her twin sister.
Melody has to deal with her mum, when she turns up to help with the gardening.
Ruth and Smithy keep getting closer. Karen's new health kick gets her in trouble. Cherry tries to get a teen and his dad back together.
Jimmi goes looking for women at an art gallery, but ends up getting picked up himself and involved in art theft. Ruth gets closer to Smithy, but her day is rocked when she gets a visit from Heston.

A naive student turns to Cherry for relationship advice after having spent the night with another girl after a party. Ruth tries to settle into life at Julia's, but it's not easy for her. Cherry's attempt to offer Michelle some light relief goes awry.
A new trainee doctor, Simon Bond starts at the Mill, and he and Heston face a race against time when they stumble upon victims of a car crash. Cherry attempts to reconcile Julia and Michelle, but is shocked when the true extent of Michelle's unhappiness is revealed.
Karen takes Jimmi to the Total Immersion Therapy day, where she pretends to be afraid of spiders, and Jimmi has to eat off a toilet seat. Lily treats an old man who is being drugged by his exhausted daughter.
A lawyer's strange behavior on his return from an overseas assignment leads his wife to suspect an affair, so she begs a reluctant Daniel to help her find the truth. A terrified Ruth makes her first trip to the shops alone, whilst Michelle threatens to leave if Ruth returns to work.
Michelle tries to help a young student out of a potentially fatal friendship, when she gets involved in dangerous slimming websites. Ruth helps with Julia's garden, whilst Julia and the partners decide that she needs to be assessed before she does. Melody gets the task, much to Michelle's annoyance.
Dr Simon Bond starts his first day with patients, under Heston's wing. Lily goes round to visit Ruth, and bond over a barbecue.
A grieving woman who's husband hasn't spoken to her since the death of their daughter, needs Heston's help to face reality. Melody struggles with her assessment of Ruth, and trying to keep everyone happy. Cherry tries to help Simon with his bedside manner.
Jimmi gets involved with old friends, one of whom is writing on a social website. Heston lets his temper get the better of him when he violently disagrees with Melody's assessment of Ruth, as do most others.
Heston takes a second opinion over whether Ruth is suitable for work or not. A fed up Michelle goes for a job interview at a state-of-the-art surgery. Heston and Lily have a major falling out over his attitude towards Ruth. A young man goes to Daniel wanting to know all about the 'facts of life'.
Karen gets involved with a young man just out of prison, after she nearly runs him over. Julia tries to calm an almost psychotic Michelle about Ruth's imminent return to work. Jimmi thinks his OCD is returning.
Melody dreams she's in 'Alice in Wonderland', but her day is just as farcical when she has to cover at the Campus surgery on her own, with a sick receptionist, and a female student who comes in to see her with the ailment of 'having two boyfriends'. Julia's also on the warpath. Jimmi gets locked in a cupboard.
Julia tries to help her failed romance writer friend in the art of love. Ruth reveals to Julia that she has decided not to return to the Mill, and has a nice new haircut. Simon has another bad day, but is offered advice from Melody on how to deal with Heston.
Ruth has her first day back at the Mill, and is very nervous, especially about bumping into Michelle. Michelle is at the Campus surgery and becomes involved with a student trying to overcome his loneliness. Cherry and Simon go out.
Cherry goes to visit an old friend who has married an older man. Melody has a job offer from a posh new clinic, and seeks Jimmi's advice. Michelle is really vile to her. The partners interview for a new GP, and tend to go for a woman with fancy red shoes, called 'Zara'.
Heston sees both mistress and wife of a music professor. Cherry tries to get Simon to make a move on her, especially after he shows her his big telescope.
Before her night shift, Melody finds herself getting involved with a pregnant woman who's worried about her baby, an involvement that leads to a baby farm, and trouble. Melody's exam results arrive, but she is too nervous to look at them. Daniel has a flirtation with an older woman. Melody meets and falls for French Dr Etienne.
Melody spends all night helping Kim give birth. She is almost killed by the bad guys, by being crushed in a car crushing machine, but escapes with one bound just in the nick of time. Kim calls her baby 'Melody', our Melody passes her exams, accepts her new job offer, and falls in love with sexy French Dr Etienne. And she gets stuck in the toilet! Everyone else is sad, as lovely Melody leaves the Mill for the last time. Even sexier Dr Zara arrives at the Mill, complete with early menopause.
Zara is given a troublesome, noisy family to deal with on her first day at the Mill. Zara and Daniel's flirtation gets interrupted when Daniel hears some bad news regarding a patient.
Jimmi helps a mum who's son thinks he's a chicken! Daniel's unexpected windfall lands him in trouble with the old lady's family. Zara and Michelle come head to head.
A patient discovers his room mate is not what he seems. He is helped in his escalating mental illness by Ruth. Daniel continues to try and impress Zara, but continues to come second best.
Julia helps a student get the girl of his dreams, after she buys a broach he's been saving for. Michelle bumps into an old friend of hers, who's now a weather girl on Letherbridge telly and discovers she has big secrets.
Heston helps a violent single father track down the man who's seeing his daughter. Zara allows Daniel to sleep with him, once.
Luke is struggling to find a sitter for his daughter while he has an interview for a job. Michelle tries to help, but is shocked by Luke's desperate behavior. Simon and Will have the perfect date. However, is Will too good to be true?
A patient of Daniels wants to die at home, rather than at hospital, so Cherry goes to visit him. He doesn't want his family there, which Cherry finds hard to understand. Daniel also tries to find out from Julia and Heston what's happening with the practice, now that they are a partner down. Smithy has a little surprise for Ruth, he's got a baby from somewhere. He thinks it's theirs, but Ruth is totally shocked. Has Smithy lost his marbles again?
A former rugby player, whose now in a wheelchair, gets into a fight when drunk with mates at a lap dancing club. He injures himself. His put upon wife gets Heston involved. His wife, it seems, is keeping a secret: She's a lap dancer. There're more tap dancing rehearsals, Ruth is really good, though her rehearsal is interrupted when Smithy turns up. He's been tap dancing in the snow, with no shoes on.
Smithy drags Ruth to an old building. He is obsessed with the roof and how it affects the local birds. They have a big argument, which results in Smithy going onto said roof and standing on the edge a lot. Ruth calls Michelle who gets him sectioned. Simon and Cherry have a big argument about Will, and he accuses her of turning into 'Zara, but without the wit'.
A nosy OAP patient of Daniels gets into trouble with his neighbors. They've got guns and everything. Daniel and Zara go round to see him, just as he has a heart attack. Zara and Daniel argue a lot. Ruth feels really bad about the sectioning of Smithy, so she has a chat with Henry who tells her how colorful life is.
A missing girl writes to her parents, with instructions that lead to a trail of Cd's that will supposedly lead to her. She has recorded messages for them. Her friend Michelle, joins them as the tour takes them around Letherbridge. It's Ruth's first day back at work. Will visits Simon at the Mill. Cherry tells him that it's Simons birthday on Thursday. He wants to do something. Daniel and Zara continue to bicker, so Julia decides to book them on a team building course.
Charlie and Heston go for a late night Balti, and end up causing some racially aggravated fuss. Jimmi goes to a late night home visit. The woman and her daughter are both fans of his from his radio show, which brings back memories of his recent kidnapping by his 'number one fan'.
A mischievous and misbehaved Daniel and Zara cause havoc on the first day of their team-building course. They do get to play with balloons though. Karen discovers that she has very little money, so speaks to Ruth to see if she wants to join with her and ask for a pay-rise. Cherry and Will organize a party for Simon's birthday. Charlie has a big shock when he finds out that Simon is gay.
It's the second day of Zara and Daniel's Team Building course, and there's a new leader, Julian having taken the day off for 'personal time'. Zara's in a mood over Daniel's night time exploits with Daisy. The day ends with it all getting a bit serious. Heston meets the IT guy, who turns out to be sexy Susan. He gets drawn in to her personal activities. Simon is worried about Will's strange behavior last night, when he disappeared from his birthday party.
Sophie, an attractive friend of Immie's, targets an old rich guy, she wants to marry him! She even flirts with Immie's dad. She gets more than she bargained for though when things turn nasty. Karen goes through Julia's drawers to look for the wage sheet. She is shocked to find out she earns a lot less than everyone else. Julia offers Jimmi the partnership position, but does he want it?
Zara is apprehensive when she meets her dad. He has been released from prison, but he's not the same man she remembers. Ruth's ankle gets twisted when a young tearaway kicks a football at her in reception. Her day's about to get worse though. Simon and Will spend the day together, but they are still arguing over Will's decision not to tell anyone about their relationship.
An attractive female patient of Daniel's has been telling her mate all about their night of passion. It seems she's besotted with him, and turn's up at the Mill, but is she telling the truth? Simon discovers that Will is married with a kid. Karen and Rob argue about money.
Zara drags her dad into town, and is doing her best to keep him occupied. She wants his advice. All he wants to do is sit at home though. Simon tries to come to terms with the fact that Will has a family. He decides to call it a day. A patient of Cherry's wants to go on the pill. She has already started having sex, but is underage. Karen has a go at Julia over her level of pay.
The elderly mother of a Downs Syndrome girl is about to go on a trip to America, only she's a bit poorly and has to get the doctor out. She's been not-so-secretly earning extra money as a phone sex worker, so her daughter takes up the mantle. Julia is a bit shocked. Zara takes her dad to a local Over 50's Community Coffee Morning, though she can't wait to get out, it reminds her of 'Cocoon'. Her dad wants to play table tennis though. Poor Zara. Simon turns to Ruth to talk about his break-up.
Zara is back at work, though her dad keeps phoning her. They end up arguing. Everyone is having a go at Simon over Will having a wife, especially Charlie who is a bit homophobic. Will finds his ambulance driver looking through a patients bag. What's he to do? Daniel needs to get £80,000 to have a chance of becoming partner. He asks Zara for help.
Jack moves back into the Halls of Residence, and immediately gets chatted up by a sexy brunette. Unfortunately, her brother happens to be the weird Heavy Metal freak who lodges in the room next door. Karen continually moans about not being paid enough, and Simon takes Will's scarf back to him.
A troublesome young actor is having terrible nightmares and heart trouble. Heston helps him out. Karen is on industrial work-to-rule, which causes lots of bother. It's all back on with Simon and Will, but Simon doesn't want Cherry to know. Ruth becomes his partner-in-crime to stop her from knowing.
A vagrant is caught by Rob, just after he claims that he killed a girl by touching her with his bare hand. She was just involved in a car accident though. Jimmi gets involved. Will he be his next 'victim'. Zara's father continues to be a bit down-in-the-dumps. He burns his hand, so Cherry goes around to look at it. They have some ironing fun and she stops for dinner, much to Zara's annoyance. Heston gives Karen an envelope with some money in it, to hopefully stop her work-to-rule. Unfortunately he's taken it from the biscuit fund.
It's snowing again in Letherbridge, and Michelle has had her tyre slashed. Luckily a neighbor is there to help. He is a big Mowtown fan and has a bow tie given to him by Smokey Robinson in 1965. He's living in the past, and secretly fancies her. Imagine her surprise when he tries to kiss her at the local tea dance. Zara drags her dad to a posh restaurant, but it all ends in tears. He wants to move into a place of his own. Ruth has to find someone else to lead the tap dance troupe, as Charlie has gout again. She targets Jimmi.
Charlie helps a mother and daughter after they discover they are both dating the same man. Zara has an emotional turn when helping her dad move into his new sheltered accommodation. She thinks it's poky and "you can't even open the windows". Jack tries to cheer her up. Julia starts hunting down the missing petty cash, so many biscuits just seems wrong.
Rob catches an incompetent colleague in an amorous embrace with Susie, whilst both at work. What will he do? Immie helps a male friend when he sees the girl he's supposed to marry out with another man.
Cherry goes and sees a couple, the wife is struggling with memory loss. She doesn't remember the big crash. Simon has it out again with Will. He wants him to leave his wife. Charlie sees them hug, and has a go at them for being 'abnormal'. Jimmi tries to sort out the Karen problem.
Will brings his son to see Simon at the Mill. Heston, whilst practicing his speech for a funeral, gets called out on a house call. The old lady is being forced to move to Studley. Zara goes with Daniel to his bank interview, as he tries to secure the money he needs to make partner.
Daniel suggests to Zara a way to get the rest of the money for the partnership - he'll gamble it. An elderly Traveller turns up at the Mill. She has second sight and has put up camp in the car park. She says that "Money begets Money", so Daniel goes to the local casino to try his luck. Zara chases after him. Charlie keeps on having a go at Simon about his sexuality. Cherry finds out that Simon has been lying to her about being with Will.
Jimmi has to deal with a drug addled prostitute at the police station. There he meets the Superintendent's daughter, who is there for the day to see what goes on. He quite fancies her. Simon goes to see Will, to supposedly break up with him. It doesn't go quite to plan though. Julia gives Daniel a pat on the back regarding his possible partnership, only she doesn't know he blew the £40,000 in a casino. Or has Zara played a devious trick on him?
Simon and Will try to come to terms with being discovered by Sophie. She decides to corner Simon at work. Julia asks Heston to spy on Daniel, and is shocked to discover that she has asked Daniel to raise twice as much for the partnership as he needs to. Zara also finds out, and Daniel gives Julia an ultimatum.
Josh's girlfriend gets a journalist friend of hers to dig into his mother's past. It unearths a terrible secret, but will Josh have the nerve to look at it? Michelle gives him a helping hand. Will and Sophie spend a lot of time arguing about his and Simon's relationship, and Heston decides that Ruth should take the lead in the forthcoming tap competition, as she is the only one who is any good.
Karen knocks a unicyclist down. Only he seems to be a strange Welch alternative comedian. His interactive comedy act apparently features Karen, much to her horror. And he Blogs it all on the web. Daniel is still smarting over being treated like a child by Julia and Heston. He threatens to leave, so Zara sorts him out. Ruth starts practicing like mad for the tap routine. Will tries to get Simon back.
A young woman turns up at the Mill to prove to an older man that she is still a virgin. It seems that she has sold her virginity to the highest bidder on the Internet. And it's a lot of money. Julia noses in and tries to talk her out of it. It's the day of Daniel's big interview at a posh clinic, so Zara tries to 'help' him with a selection of questions about his past.
Julia speaks to Heston about her concerns regarding Charlie. The complaints from female staff and patients keep coming. More trouble though, when he's visited by an ageist student patient. Daniel doesn't get the job he went for, and has a strop in Julia's direction. Ruth has tap-based nightmares, and she's working late fixing up the costumes.
Simon tries to help a man after he's started back to work. His wife has fallen into a coma. She keeps dreaming that she's awoken in a strange white room and tries to make people believe that she is awake. He is in such a state that he steals a prescription pad from Simon's room. Cherry has moved back in with Simon, and decides to cook for him.
An elderly woman thinks it's almost time - her baby is about to arrive. A young guy who breaks in leads to a tale of long lost love being revealed. Zara convinces Daniel to apologize to Julia, which he does - with surprising consequences. Two of Heston's best and oldest friends arrive for the latest annual Bunfight, which Heston is hosting. Cherry overhears them disparaging him, so decides to pretend to be his girlfriend, to beef him up in front of his 'friends'.
Rob almost knocks a 15 year old girl down. It seems she is loud mouthed, and very drunk. He arrests her, and Rob and Jimmi try to work out why she is in the state she's in. Heston tries to teach his 'new girlfriend' Cherry, the art of deportment and etiquette. Julia tells Karen that she thinks she should start training as a Health Care Assistant.
It's the day before the gala, and Ruth seems to have forgotten all her tap steps, and is feeling sick. Jimmi thinks she's got a case of stage fright. Jack goes home to revise for his exam, only finds Immie making a racket doing her art project. They argue a lot. Heston has a go at Cherry over her dress sense.
The day of the big gala has arrived, but Ruth is still ultra nervous about the whole thing. Karen gets Jack to get her some tights for the show, and he has to take himself into a 'Ladies' shop. The two women in there are all over him though. Charlie obsesses over Zara's new shoes.
Everyone is still high after the success of the gala tap routine. Daniel is all dressed up, trying to impress before his first partners meeting. Heston wants to give Charlie a permanent contract. Michelle fears her elderly patient might be being mistreated by her two sons. Simon has a bad day, he's pining after Will, and then Charlie 'has a word'.
Heston's latest patient has fallen off a ladder whilst working in a church. He believes he is the reincarnation of a local jazz musician. Immie is really stressed over her art exam, but gets talked into giving it a go. Ruth is still having post-gala blues. Can she be cheered up?
Somebody is out to get the favorite in a Japanese superhero dress-up competition. Cherry tries to find out who. Immie is there taking photos, but has her camera stolen. Could it be the same person? Rowly, an old friend of Julia's visits her at the Mill, and starts telling tales of her colorful past. Karen makes a big decision regarding Julia's job offer, but can she cope with the needles?
Jimmi helps Rob and the police investigate three suspicious suicides. It turns out to be a serial killer, who ends up targeting someone very close to Rob. Julia goes for a picnic with Rowly. She ends up getting a big shock though. Cherry's choice of a pink, very sparkly dress for Heston's party, leaves Heston non-plussed, so he helps her choose something a bit more 'elegant'. Daniel and Zara have another day of arguing.
Simon gets involved when a student comes to him with tales that his girlfriend scares him, and throws things. He doesn't know what to do. He meets another young girl, through the music of David Bowie. Unfortunately he is playing everyone against each other. Julia goes to Zara for some relationship advice.
It's Ruth's day off. She stops a young tearaway from pinching a magazine from a newsagent. He's so happy that she doesn't 'dob him in', he starts stalking her, even asking her to marry him, and move in with him. Jimmi treats a nervous boy, whose never kissed a girl before. He's got flowers for the object of his affection, and asks Jimmi for dating tips.
It's the night of Heston's soirée, but it doesn't start well when Heston discovers a bird has got into his house, and wrecked the beautifully lay-ed table. A beautiful Cherry, in her little black dress, then makes a big speech about Wales, not realizing that Ravi is in fact an expert on 'Whales' - the 'Big Fishy Things', not Wales the Country. And then it all goes down hill. Rowly, who is in fact not gay, goes on a date with Julia.
A professional Tiddly-Winker has a sports injury - he's sprained his wrist. He wants to become World Champion so goes to Cherry to get help. Julia and Rowly try to come to terms with what happened on their date. Heston steps in to offer his advice. Zara spots Daniel with a sexy young girl. Ruth gets some unexpected news from Charlie, and Charlie and unexpected grope from Zara.

A dying friend of Daniel's asks him about freezing his sperm. Linda finally plucks up the courage to confront Charlie about their past. Michelle starts crying when in with Julia. What on earth can be wrong?
The truth behind why Linda is terrified of Charlie is revealed. It's 2007 and she and Charlie are working at the Ravenford clinic. It seems he's even more of a sleaze then than he is now.
Linda registers at the Mill Health Center and tries to speak to Heston in her quest to warn people about Charlie. Is Charlie about to be revealed as the monster he is? Jack visits the local Sexual Health Clinic. Something's up. Oh, and Michelle's there working. It's Jimmi's birthday, and he's got cake.
Karen is now fully trained up after her Health Care Assistant course. A female vicar is getting nasty notes, and bricks through her windows. She also has a nasty cough. Who could be behind it all. Daniel gets involved and discovers the extent of the problems. Julia wants a chat.
When Ruth sees an old school friend of hers physically attack her husband, she starts believing him when he says that her personality has changed. But why, and can Ruth convince Simon who refuses to believe anything is wrong. Julia asks Daniel to talk to Zara, but she's going to a wedding. Julia also wants Heston to have a chat with Simon, she's worried about him. Karen practices drawing blood on Jimmi, only it all goes horribly wrong - blood everywhere.
Zara and Daniel are in the throws of their honeymoon period now that they are living together, and he wants to declare their joyful living together to one and all. How long will the honeymoon period last though? Cherry gives them three months tops. Rob prepares for his CID interview, but Karen gets a bit over-excited. Heston's ego puts the Mill's reputation at risk when he does a favor for an old married friend (who likes being slapped around by prostitutes!). The guy's wife isn't too happy either, and throws a fit.
Daniel starts having all his belongings delivered to Zara's house, but she's not too happy when they start taking over. Especially when she meets Ruprecht. Rob interviews for the CID job, but will his over-confidence be his downfall? Mrs Tembe helps Albert, an old man whose unrequited love for his sick old friend puts her in danger.
An old friend of Julia's claims she is being haunted by her dead husband, but Julia smells a rat. Rob finds out whether he's got the CID job or not, but Karen is already spending the extra money! Elaine has an anniversary she'd rather forget, so Heston helps her. Cherry has a call from Simon, while Jimmi and Daniel compares notes on their other halves.
Both Cherry and Zara are horrified at the thought of Friday night drinks with each other and their partners. Particularly Zara. The girls' cunning plans to get out of the date backfire though. Jack is dumped by his mate and sets out to find out why. Is there a girl involved? Probably. Immie gets caught shoplifting jewelry. Rob gets a few crumbs thrown his way by DCI Driver.
It's Friday and it's date night - only none of the girls are looking forward to it. Cherry and Zara just keep moaning about their double-date evening with Daniel and Jimmi, while Immie is trepidatious about her 'date' with Ryan - the security guard who caught her shoplifting. Zara and Cherry soon get into a serious pool contest with each other, while Immie's goes far better than she could have hoped.
Whilst investigating a nasty 'cuckooing' gang, Rob comes stumbles across an old acquaintance, Ed, a severe schizophrenic, and he's in urgent need of medical assistance. Rob tries to get him to see Karen at the surgery. Heston is drafted in to help, but Ed is a reluctant patient. Zara takes Daniel's advice to play nice with Cherry, but Zara is determined on getting more pool lessons to 'whip her ass'.
Ed's vision, 'Bad Heston', continues to urge him to kill 'Good Heston'. Meanwhile 'Good Heston' asks Elaine out - well sort of. Immie gets all excited about meeting up with Ryan again, but he has some strong thoughts on her shop lifting.
Ed is in hospital, after being clobbered over the head with a fire extinguisher by Elaine. Heston feels she may feel guilty. Cherry helps a patient deal with the consequences of sleeping with her sister's husband - an STD. Karen and Rob bump into Immie and Ryan when out shopping for curtains, but will Ryan make a good impression? Immie is horrified when they invite him over for tea.
Ed finally comes around in hospital, but Elaine treads on toes when she overcompensates for knocking him on the head. Cherry is worried about what to cook when Zara and Daniel come over. Karen reluctantly goes to her friend Angie's lingerie party, but discovers that Angie's new best mate has a surprising secret! Immie tries to steal a birthday present for Ryan's mom, but with massive consequences!
Cherry is desperate to make a good impression at the party, so takes the day off to cook. She gets tips from Heston, then finds an easy recipe folder of Eva's, Jimmi's ex. Zara is still doing her best to wriggle out of it; she has to take something pudding-wise and home cooked, and ends up getting cake making tips from Mrs Tembe. The wine flows at the dinner party, and when the gang start playing 'Truth of Dare', real true feelings start to come out.
Journalist Doric goes to register at the Campus, though his rude attitude gets under Mrs Tembe's skin. He has a fan in Heston though. His ex-wife looks after him, though tends to spit in his food once in a while! Daniel is in Zara's bad books, and feels the need to apologize. Immie helps Ryan with his job hunting - well, she was responsible for him getting the sack.
Elaine goes to see Ed, but worries about where he'll go when he's discharged from hospital. Zara goes to see her dad - she needs to talk. Only he introduces her to a friend of his. Eric, a vagrant who cleans cars at a supermarket, isn't well. All he eats is packet noodles, as he's saving to buy a classic car. Jimmi reckons his diet is at fault! There's much more too it though.
Guilty Immie tries to find Ryan a job around Campus, as she cost him his last one. She calls on the help of her mom, and Julia, as she is friends with security guard Barry! Heston becomes embroiled with best friends Sue and Joanne, who constantly bitch and snipe over an attractive assistant they both want to bed. He has some bad new though which brings them together. Zara imagines what it would be like to be pregnant
Ed is a bit freaked out by Elaine's offer for him to stop at hers, as are Heston and Julia. A former school friend of Jack's, Rebecca, whom he had a crush on, calls him for help. Her sexy trouble-maker sister thinks their next door neighbor is a gangster. Rob though, seems unwilling to help so Jack tries to be the hero. Zara has a proposition for Daniel. It involves a presentation, though the news she has comes as a bit of a shock.
A rookie private detective almost hits with his car the young woman he's supposed to be investigating. She sees Zara for an MRI scan, he hangs around, following her to the pool later. Julia thinks she sees a romantic spark; Zara thinks he's a weird stalker! Zara and Daniel decide to come to an impasse over a certain three little words, though Daniel is still smarting over the freezing-of-the-eggs thing.
Zara still hasn't responded after Daniel said those three little words to her: 'I Love You'. Daniel has now moved back into Jimmi's, so she must confront her feelings, especially when an old friend turns up wanting her help to organize her friend's wedding reception venue - as she's forgotten. It's the day of Ed's first therapy session, and he's a bit apprehensive. The surgery staff are giving out leaflets in the local shopping center - a perfect spot for Zara to finally declare her love for Daniel!
It's Cherry's birthday. She and Jimmi have the afternoon off, but all Cherry wants to do is house-hunt. After going to a funeral, Rob catches a well known prostitute trying to break into her own house. She says she'll be out of his hair soon, but what is her connection with the son of the dead woman? Mrs Tembe is really looking forward to the Royal Wedding, but hopes commentator Huw Edwards will speak up! Julia gets thoughts about starting the Friday book club again. Immie gives Cherry a really expensive looking coat for her birthday, but insists it was a 'steal'.
Ed discovers that an expose of his time in Afghanistan, written by an old war buddy of his, is missing some very important details. It ends in a lot of heated arguments between the two of them. The guy's wife thinks the book is the problem. Zara is amazed at the expensive new coat that Immie gave Cherry, and wonders how on earth she could have afforded it. Mrs Tembe gets carried away with Royal Wedding hysteria on the big day when she decorates the campus surgery with Union Jacks - much to Jimmi's annoyance. Elaine contemplates her relationship with Ed.
Ed tells Elaine that he has stopped taking his medication. He's unhappy and paranoid, so Elaine instigates an emergency therapy session. After an eternity, she seems to be making progress, only she's started fantasizing about snogging him. Then Ed's father appears, and he wants to take Ed back to Glasgow. He also says he's got cancer.
Colin sleepwalks, and wakes up naked near an old ruin. He's been researching his ancestry and thinks he's a direct descendant of Lord Letherbridge. He also has lots of daydreams, which get him into a lot of trouble. Jimmi gets a bit worried. Ed and Elaine have a awkward lunch with Heston and Julia, and Daniel and Zara visit a straight talking IVF consultant.
Rob investigates a complaint from one of Jack's many ex girlfriends, who thinks her next door neighbor killed her cat, among many other things. The truth is a lot stranger than she expects though. Elaine has some work done at her house, though Ed has a bit of a nightmare day with them. Cherry is frustrated by Jimmi's lack of communication; she starts convincing herself that he's not really into buying a house with her.
Mrs Tembe searches for 'The Path to Life', and fantasizes about Zara, Immie and Heston along the way as part of her 'goal visualization'. Immie goes tandem riding with Ryan - her new boyfriend! Zara, Daniel and Heston argue with Julia about the new trainee position.
A young teenage girl has an obsession with the darker meaning of fairy tales. She doesn't like her step-dad, and involves Daniel in a very dark family secret. It involves an ax, and her dressing up as Little Red Riding Hood! Immie is arrested for stealing when buying pillows for Ryan. Rob believes the security guard is at fault though.
It's Elaine's turn to host the book club, though Julia is having trouble as all the guys drop out. It's now just the girls (apart from Ed), though Zara will have to lie as to why she can't drink. Her forceful views on the book drive Ed to drink, and Karen blurts out about Immie. Karen is still unsure though, as to whether Immie is lying about her arrest for shoplifting.
Two new prospective trainee doctors, Freya (a lesbian) and Kevin (an Asian) get off to a bad start when they argue over a taxi at a taxi rank. They are at each others throats all day, but how will the interviews go?
Jack is invited back to his old school to give a speech about law. His old teacher is horrible, but Jack finds himself defending him when a sexy young student accuses him of sexual abuse - especially when Jack knows she's lying. Imogen finally talks to Ryan, but is unprepared for the outcome, when Ryan wants nothing to do with her. The partners argue over trainee candidates Kevin and Freya. Daniel and Zara in particular have massively different opinions over their suitability, but who will they choose?
Heston takes part in a homeless charity sleep-out, much to the amusement of the other doctors, and tries to help a man struggling to find a place in society. Immie tells her mom that Ryan has dumped her, though Karen's suspicions grow as to the reason. Elaine pesters Karen about her 'Life List', though Karen is stuck on the first step: 'improving your relationships'. Elaine makes a decision about her relationship with Ed, only it involves dumping him.
Elaine takes the day off to make an urgent appointment with her therapist after her split with Ed. While in the waiting room she bumps into Zara and Daniel, who are there for a chat about IVF. They too have problems. Cherry is concerned about a new mum who is struggling to cope after the death of her mother, and has become obsessed with a mysterious elderly lady.
Zara reveals she is mentoring Freya, and Daniel, Kevin. Here the competition starts. 'Who's the Daddy', as Zara declares! It all goes badly; for Kevin, who loses it when an old lady patient assumes he's Asian, and for Freya who has to deal with a case of female genital mutilation. Jack takes Immie for a coffee. He's very nice to her, which leads to Immie admitting her stealing to him.
Immie gets her trial date - right in the middle of her exams! She says she can't do it, what with having to 'swear on Bibles and stuff'! Jack tries to get her to do the right thing, and tell all to the parents. Julia's financial advisor goes on a date with Len, but things get complicated, what with her being married to a transsexual, so she asks Julia for advice. Kevin takes delivery of his fancy new car, but it doesn't have the outcome he expected.
Elaine helps a young man on a community payback scheme. He is being bullied, but soon comes to realize that by giving into the bully he is putting his father's life at risk. The alarm on Kevin's new car keeps going off, pushing Heston to the edge, especially as he's trying to give a talk about preventing high blood pressure at the time! Jack has a change of heart, and resolves to help Immie with her trial.
Karen is woken up by an intruder in her bedroom. He's shouting 'Where is he?', but is gone by the time Rob and the police arrive. It turns out that their new next door neighbors, Hilary and Graham are the targets, but why? Then Graham gets taken. Zara needs a little push from Daniel on the day that she should be starting her hormone replacement. Jimmi confides in Julia about his fears regarding possibly telling Cherry about Eva being alive. She could be in danger if they go through with the house move.
Mrs Tembe's looking after a friend's allotment, but gets involved in some very strange goings on. Elaine has a splinter, and Freya, underarm hair, though the underarm hair causes a bit of a stir. Rob takes Immie to see a solicitor, but it's all very horrible - she doesn't like it. When will she finally come clean?
While out on a routine patrol, Rob discovers a young woman who looks to have jumped from a high building. A baby booty she puts into his hand leads Rob to a carpet factory and a tale if illegal immigrants. Daniel reads Fraya's feminist Blog, and sets out to prove that he is also a feminist! Jimmi goes to Rob to ask for his help in selling his house! It's half in Eva's name, only she's in witness protection and Cherry mustn't know about her!
Zara's hormone pills are playing havoc with her mood swings, forcing Freya to spend the day shadowing Cherry instead. It's a blind girl's birthday, and Freya helps expose the dark secret behind the car crash which caused her partial blindness.
Jack uses Katia, together with Immie's case, in an ethics lecture to try and prove he can get Immie off and prepare her for her impending trial. It doesn't quite go according to plan though. Mrs Tembe's new hairdo causes mass confusion, especially as it looks just like Julia's! Jimmi and Cherry continue to see houses, with Jimmi receiving some good news from Rob as to the sale of his and Eva's house, and how it will affect Eva.
A young girl wakes up during a routine operation, but is there more at stake than ill-health? The doctor involved can't believe what happened, and seeks Heston's advice. After Daniel promised Kevin, and Zara promised Freya that the new position would be theirs, there are lots of arguments. Julia also gets involved.
It's time for Zara's scan - they can fertilize her eggs. All she needs is for Daniel to do 'the sperm thing'!. Only Daniel, despite his best efforts at pretending to be ill, cannot get out from work and gets involved with an elderly patient who is determined to seize the day but is compromising her health in the process. Karen is having her doubts over Immie's innocence.
Daniel goes to the clinic to 'produce the goods', so Zara videos a sexy message for him as a special treat. Unfortunately she uses Kevin's new phone and spends the rest of the day trying to get it back off him before he watches it. Heston treats a deaf cartoonist who is having problems communicating with his son. Rob wants everyone to rally around Immie, as he tries to prepare her for her court date.
A young WPC arrives at the police station with a nasty bruise on her cheek. The man she has brought in knocked her when resisting arrest. Jimmi checks her out and is concerned by the amount of knocks and resisting arrests she has had. Rob doesn't believe him, so asks her to team up with him for the afternoon, but finds the bruises have come from far closer to home. Kevin gets hopelessly lost on his house calls. His new sexy voiced Satnav isn't quite up to the job!
Julia is worried that she may have given her old friend Helen bad advice when she finds out her toy-boy has asked her to move to Australia with him. Helen turns out to also be the magistrate that Immie is up against. It's Immie's day in court, but will Rob and Jack's coaching pay off, and will Rob and Karen find out that Immie is actually guilty! Zara and Daniel eagerly await the results from the clinic.
After Immie's shocking admission in court, Rob gets very angry and drunk, and throws her out of the house. She ends up walking the mean streets of Letherbridge, sobbing. Karen goes in search of her, but will she find her before any terrible harm befalls her?
Immie struggles to cope with her exams, what with still being chucked out, and her dad still hating her. Zara gets the wrong impression when dealing with a patient from hell, an angry, proud man who refuses to give his ill mother a kidney and whom she calls an 'arrogant misogynist'. The man also has nightmares of guys attacking him with knives. Karen has the task of telling everyone at work about Immie. Freya is bored.
Sean Noble turns up at the police station, battered and bruised. He says he was defending himself, but Jimmi and Rob become concerned when they find he doesn't have a medical record, and a DI arrives to take control. Jimmi discovers that he's in witness protection, but what will he do when he finds out Sean's true identity? Elaine has a day off, but her plans to have a sensual message go up in smoke when an insistent chimney sweep arrives, only he has a fear of soot!
Cherry goes through Immie's revising with her. Freya becomes concerned about a bus-driving patient's motivation for having a gastric bypass. Her daughter is also concerned. Zara, however, is suspicious of Freya's reasoning. Jack is being very nice to Immie, but what are his reasons? Rob though, still doesn't want to talk to her.
Mrs Tembe sneaks into her next door neighbor's house. She then orders the old biddy who lives there a taxi, and tidies up their garden - it's a bit messy! What's she up too? Heston tries to find out. Kevin suffers from a lack of tact when dealing with a fireman suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder. The man's wife is 14 weeks pregnant, though she hasn't told him yet. Freya tries to tell Cherry to do something for herself on her day off, rather than fetching Jimmi's laundry and helping Immie with her revising.
It's Jimmi's birthday, and as a special treat Cherry organizes a treasure hunt! He's not entirely enamored with it, especially when he discovers her real agenda. Heston tries to make an elderly man whose wife is dying of cancer see that life is for the living. He helps her record a video message and takes them dancing one last time.
Kevin encounters a young woman who wants her recurring nightmares to stop. She's dreaming that it's the end of the world, and she stabs her husband to death, but what do they really mean? When a supposedly anonymous article of Jack's is printed, all hell breaks loose for the Hollins family. It's about his sister's penchant for shoplifting, only it's been jazzed up a bit. He tries to get Jimmi and Cherry to try and stop it getting out, but to no avail. Daisy turns up, claiming to be Simon's girlfriend.
Cherry and Jimmi are late for work, as Immie is refusing to go to her last exam. Julia decides to take over. Elaine finds herself caught up in an abusive man's mission to track down his ex-wife, after she reported him to the police. Kevin tries to break up with Daisy, only he ropes in Daniel and Jimmi for some help.
Violet is very naughty. She calls women in the phone book and says she's having an affair with their husband - just for laughs. She works in the local lap dancing club, where she lures Daniel under false pretenses. He gets worries when Jimmi tells him that Violet had set up a dodgy porn website that sets people up. Daisy surprises Kevin when she introduces him to 'daddy'. Jack tries to make up with Immie and his parents.
Heston returns from his travels, full of joy and presents. Is he being completely honest though? A young carer celebrates her sixteenth birthday but when a coffin he's ordered arrives, Jimmi realizes that for her wheelchair bound father, the date marks a bigger occasion that could have devastating consequences. Karen is desperate to help Jack and Immie with their revising, much to their annoyance.
A female patient of Elaine's needs more drugs to help her sleep. She has no money though and is being threatened by a money collector. Not wanting to have sex with him, she phones Elaine and asks her for money! A man has been diagnosed with Hepatitis C, only he's quite angry and blames Heston for not discovering it earlier - he wishes he'd seen Elaine. Julia has the shopping trip from hell - she can't park anywhere, so uses the forecourt of a local garage. She gets angry when she discovers that the garage owner has moved her car, then she falls over, smashes her eggs, and gets swept off her feet!
A married woman and her husband's latest fling set in motion 'Operation Payback'. The wife steals a prescription note from Daniel and lures her husband back to her house with the intention of drugging him. It all goes horribly wrong though, when he 'dies'. Julia receives a bunch of flowers off Martin, though she has no interest in him. It's massage day for Zara, though she finds it harder than she thought to leave baby Joe with Aliona all day.
It's the night of Heston's party. Unfortunately for Jack though, it's at the Icon Bar on a night when he's covering. He also has to look after a new barmaid who turns out to be more trouble than expected. She's already been to see the doctor, but then collapses. Freya gets interviewed by 'Letherbridge Life' magazine, only she's a bit nervous about it. Martin pays Julia a visit, only she's not too happy. He refuses to take no for an answer though. Zara lets Daniel sort out babysitting duties as Aliona can't make it, while she goes to Heston's party. It's not quite as easy as he thinks though. Meanwhile, somebodies house is being burgled.
Heston is putting on a brave face following his burglary. The others are suitably shocked, especially Mrs Tembe and Cherry, who organize a cleanup operation. A wheelchair bound thug and his two mates are collecting money using the 'para-olympics' as the basis for a scam. Rob drags him in, but is shocked when he finds out he really is handicapped. Julia worries about her upcoming date with Martin.
Cherry hits the roof when she finds out that her married cousin Tom is sleeping with another woman. They met through a website, and despite being told to back off, Cherry hatches a plan to find the woman, and warn her off. This plan involves setting her up with Jimmi though! Mrs Tembe convinces Heston that she knows who burgled his house, so he sets out to confront the man. Immie gets her Hepatitis C results.
Julia is regretting her decision to let Elaine try and chat up Martin (in disguise). Elaine is convinced he's showing classic signs of being married. A young ballroom dancer who's mad on Strictly Come Dancing is preparing for a big dance competition that evening. Her sister though, who Freya is trying to get into rehab, sells her dress for drugs. Her world is about to turn violent though. Heston tries to get used to being alone in his house after the burglary. To help in this, he sleeps with a cricket bat.
Mrs Tembe and her Church friend collect food for the homeless, for the Harvest Festival. Her friend is having money troubles though and thinking of helping herself to some of the food. Mrs Tembe decides to help, especially when her two children say they are hungry. Zara leaves baby Joe with Aliona for the afternoon, but keeps on checking up on them via the secret camera she's set up, and her smart-phone. When Daniel convinces her she has overstepped the mark, they have a race to get to the camera before Aliona discovers it.
Mandy goes and visits her cousin. It seems he's having panic attacks. His parents are always arguing, and it doesn't help that his father is dressed up as a woman. Kevin takes Heston shopping for some new high tech gear to replace the stuff he had stolen. Unfortunately though, he doesn't know his 'Blu-ray' from his 'Bluetooth'. Julia has Martin around for a bite to eat. It all goes wrong though when she burns the food, then brings up his arrest for arson!
Heston is happy when his new high tech gear is delivered. It soon all goes wrong though when he gets to work, when first his log-on, then his ATM Pin don't work. He also gets clamped by an over zealous Barry! Zara arrives back in work in a foul mood after a run in with Barry, and keeps phoning Aliona. She sees a woman who is feeling sick on the morning of her first lecture. Zara smells drink on her breath, but is she really ill though, or is her student boyfriend the problem? Julia is still upset over how her evening with Martin went, especially as she now knows he's moving away.
A patient of Kevin's is having problems at home - her lone son is stealing, and hanging around with very threatening types. She has also been diagnosed with cancer, but Kevin is shocked when she refuses treatment. Aliona quits as baby Joe's nanny, and accuses Zara of being a control freak. So Zara starts the search for a new one. Freya's interview appears in 'Leatherbridge Life' magazine, but it's not all she thought it would be. She then gets a visit from a 'Messenger from Jesus'!
Frank's neighbor goes round to see him. He can't get an answer, so calls the police. They then find Frank dead. Two relatives who have been informed decide that the house is now theirs, and demand access. Frank's neighbor though, is being secretive, as there is something in the garden shed that he wants. Daniel is left at home with baby Joe, together with a list of instructions from Zara. Heston has a new security alarm fitted.
Rob and Jimmi have problems with a rape case. It seems that the suspected rapist is accusing the police surgeon that dealt with him of being drunk. The arresting officer of that case is the same over-eager PC that has just arrested Heston for hitting a burglar with a cricket bat, so it's all bad news for Heston.
A woman's wedding to her new husband turns into a fight when her son defends his dead father's right. An old family feud is resurrected which ends in violence. Heston is back in work as news of his arrest causes shock waves. Julia wins tickets to the William Shakespeare festival in Stratford, plus a night in a hotel, but who will she take?
Mandy sees a young girl on her 18th birthday. She's met this boy (Chris), and wants to have sex so needs the pill. They are both shocked later though, when Chris turns out to be a girl. Julia meets up with Martin in Stratford. They're going to see Twelfth Night and stop over in a hotel. Mrs Tembe couldn't make the play, so gave her ticket to Elaine, or as Martin knows her - Elysia Hyde. To make matters worse, Barry turns up (in bright canary yellow trousers), and he's ready to fight for Julia's attentions.
Barry is really depressed back in work, while Julia and Martin, having spent the night together, spend a second day in Stratford. Zara and Daniel have a day off at home, read William Shakespeare and play at being each other's slaves. Their neighbors though have a strange relationship. The man slaves away and cleans at home, while his wife treats him like dirt, and goes out having sex with strange men. He ends up confiding in Zara.
The partner of a friend of Freya's has been commissioned to write a poem for the World Shakespeare Festival. He's a bit intense though, and won't wash or eat. When they find him on the floor having self harmed, they start getting really worried. He then starts hearing the Bard talk to him. Heston pits Mrs Tembe and Cherry against each other for the spare ticket to see King Lear at Stratford. Then Karen tries to get him to take Immie.
Kevin organizes a party for Freya's birthday, but instead of a 'nurse stripper', a hypnotist turns up. After putting Daniel, Mandy, Freya and Jack 'under the influence', they all play a game of 'Blind Date', a game that has unusual consequences. Heston now only has one spare ticket for 'King Lear', so Mrs Tembe and Cherry start quoting William Shakespeare in an attempt to win the seat. They don't know about the dark horse that is Immie though.
A bride to be goes to see Cherry for some jabs for her honeymoon. She gets a bit evasive though when Cherry starts talking all 'flowers and themes'. She also didn't tell her fiancé that she'd been to the doctors, and is feeling constantly sick. Julia is still fielding calls from Martin, so sees Zara for lunch for some 'Zara Advice'. Heston goes to see a defense counselor friend of his - he needs some advice about his upcoming court case, but doesn't hear what he wants to hear!
A man comes in to see Kevin. He has a propensity to deliberately wind people up. He's already been thumped, and tries it on Kevin, who sends him to see a newly set up clinic. The clinic is run by a newly married couple, but it seems that the wife is a past girlfriend of the wind up merchant! Heston persuades the partners to allow him to see patients again, but when he totally over reacts to break up a fight they regret their decision. Julia has lunch with Martin.
Immie spends the morning revising at her mom's friends house, and looking after George, their 13 year old boy who is home from school, sick. Immie has a shock though, when she discovers that a 15 year old school friend of his who turns up at the house, is not only pregnant, but is with George's baby. Cherry starts a petition to try and save Heston when she discovers he might go to prison. She has a shock though when Freya not only doesn't seem to care, but comes down on the side of the burglar. Julia looks at the plans for Martin's new house. He's over budget, so she tries to sort it out.
Mandy bumps into a woman running. She's in more pain than she's letting on, but is happy when Mandy recognizes her - she's won silver medals and is in the paper. Her husband is very protective of her though. Mrs Tembe helps out at the hospital. One of the patients is rather obnoxious, he's the same man who Heston bashed over the head with a cricket bat! Karen convinces Elaine to take her, Immie and Jack power walking.
Karen comes across a crying young female student who not only thinks her ex boyfriend is constantly stalking her, but has also put a hex on her. To try and look after her, Karen talks her into joining Jack and Immie's student power walk. She then takes a shine to Jack though. Heston prepares himself for possibly his last weekend of freedom. Mrs Tembe goes back to see Curtis Brown at the hospital to try and get him to change his mind about Heston.
Elaine sees a woman who she thinks has 'Chronic Fatigue Syndrome'. The woman is also worried that her partner's MS is getting worse. A home visit is called for, but Elaine doesn't like what she finds. Heston is putting on a brave face before his trial, though his defense council gives him a stern warning. Martin tells Julia that his house buyer wants to complete this week, far sooner than he thought.
Daniel has a day looking after baby Joe, but starts worrying when he notices a rash. Mrs Tembe is having a bad day at work, so offloads to Elaine about her trouble with Curtis Brown. Jack has an interview with a top defense lawyer, but she is having money problems involving her daughter whom it seems is into drugs and is now being threatened. Jack promises to help.
Freya is out shopping for a christening present and is about to buy some dodgy DVDs off a young street seller when the girl has a nasty asthma attack. She later turns up at the Mill wanting the pill. On checking the DVDs, Freya discovers underage porn and calls in Rob. Jimmi, Cherry and Mrs Tembe go to watch Heston's first day on trial, only he comes across as a spoiled, arrogant rich kid, while Curtis Brown comes across all innocent.
In a state after seeing the CCTV footage of his attack, Heston still refuses to let Godfrey bring up his relationship with Marina. Then there are the damning statements from his neighbor, and Barry! Zara sees a woman whose protective friend has claimed has collapsed, and has had dizzy spells. She's stressed and has a presentation to do. The presentation doesn't go well though, when she collapses.
Julia is having a bad day at work. She is looking forward to lunch with Martin, but her day is about to get worse still, when they are involved in an almighty car crash. Elaine and Mrs Tembe attend their first self defense class, while Daniel meets an aspiring actress who is hoarding food.
Julia and Martin wake up in hospital following the crash, but will it make Julia rethink her views on retirement? The driver of the other car gets hit by a car himself. It confuses Rob though, as he's dressed as a corpse, and the local funeral parlor has had a 'break out'! Zara catches Daniel and Karen singing Bucks Fizz to baby Joe and she's not best pleased.
Julia is recuperating at Patrick's after leaving hospital, but when Chloe cuts herself on a knife, her day of rest turns into a rush back to the hospital. Mrs Tembe is worried about an old friend. She's got HIV and is not looking well, so she goes to the woman's church to try and help. It seems that her friend has stopped taking her 'meds' and has pit all her faith in The Lord. Jimmi and Cherry have a day off together, but Jimmi is far better at doing nothing than Cherry is!
Cherry sees a guy with chilblains. He tells her some tall tales though. He really lives in an abandoned car, and really fancies her, but is he still taking his 'meds'? Julia goes to Wales to see Martin's new house. They end up having a picnic. Is she changing her mind about him? Daniel is having trouble looking after baby Joe, he just won't go to sleep. Not even tales of 'The evil Zara-Beast' help!
Julia has a shock announcement for the practice. She is going to live with Martin in Wales, and has got a job at a nearby Cottage Hospital. Unfortunately no one wants her to go. Heston even tries to make her work out her notice, making her have to turn down the job offer. Mrs Tembe is shocked that she is going to live in sin. Only Karen seems happy, and is eager to organize a party. Julia is going though, and ultimately everyone's sad.
Daniel and Heston are finding that running the Mill and Campus surgeries, now that Julia has gone, is far more difficult than they had imagined. They decide that they need to look for a new Practice Manager - and 'sharpish'. Mrs Tembe announces an interest! Immie has to console a friend when he gets dumped by his boyfriend. Only he gets a surprise visit from his Auntie, who mistakenly believes that he and Immie are an item. She's also homophobic, so how do they tell her the truth? Mrs Tembe gets especially riled at the latest self defense class.
Zara's in charge at the Mill, though she's being bombarded with questions and problems. In particular, the payroll is three days late. A young girl's brother returns from his exotic travels. She's skipping school due to being bullied, and she finds a rare exotic snake in her brother's bag. She takes it to try and scare the bullies, though gets bitten herself. The snake is an illegal breed, and soon the police are involved. Cherry's sex life is a bit dull, so Elaine convinces her to sign up to a half marathon with Jimmi.
Karen has a surprise when she gets a visit from a 'Letherbridge Life' journalist. Immie entered one of her short stories into a competition, and she's one of the finalists. Unfortunately it's posted online, and Cherry's not very happy when she discovers that it's pretty much based on one of her failed relationships. Rob has trouble with a young ginger kid who keeps stealing from the local Asian corner shop, and is driving the owner to breaking point.
Zara gives Karen and Mrs Tembe a two part assessment for the temporary practice manager's job, including a practical test. Freya's friend uses her as a cover to cheat on her husband, though Freya eventually helps them both to see that there is still a spark between them. Jimmi meets Daniel and baby Joe at the Icon Bar, where Jimmi turns down the offer of a partnership.
Mrs Tembe has a bad first day as Acting Practise Manager. She manages to upset almost everybody, and loses a patient! The patient's mother says he has 'demons'. Jimmi and Cherry go running and stumble across him in the local wood. There is also a case of the 'important missing letter'!
Rob and Jimmi get involved with a girl who delivers Dope for a known criminal. She has also broken into Letherbridge University to steal things that she can use to pay back the money she owes him. It's Jack's exam day and Karen is fussing. Zara conducts interviews for the Practise Manager job. Unfortunately Mrs Tembe thinks she may have a chance.
Freya is at a 'Stop the War' protest at the University which gets over run by a gang of anarchists. She argues with Mandy over it when a cleaner is injured. She is also told off by Howard, who has started work as the new Practise Manager. He tells her that she dresses like a student and should smarten up. Mandy sees one of the anarchists, who has injured his arm, but gets herself into a bit of a bother when she goes around to see him at home.
Howard has a first visit to the Campus surgery where he catches up with Elaine, and has an impromptu fire drill. Zara goes to see a priest at his church. He's really ill and is coughing up blood. While there though, they get attacked by a masked man seeking revenge. Freya and Kevin have lunch together and talk about the upcoming drugs trial.
It's the day of the Mill's re-accreditation. Each of the doctors must be interviewed, and Howard is determined to make sure it all goes swimmingly. The only person fighting it is Elaine, so when the chance of a home visit arises, she jumps at it...much to Howard's annoyance.
It's the start of the Jubilee weekend, and Zara's in a good mood, but will she still be after a day with Howard? Jack helps out at the dry run for the Letherbridge Jubilee celebrations, only has to dress as a bear. The owner of the red Routmaster bus on loan is foreign, drinks, and winds people up. He also has what seems like a body in a rolled up carpet on the top deck! Mrs Tembe (a bus expert), sees him drinking and decides to do something about it, with Rob and Jack's help.
Howard puts Kevin in charge of the new Lupus drug trial at St. Phils, and wants everyone to think of possible candidates. Mrs Tembe visits Mr Greenaway, but gets pushed out when he gets two unwelcome visitors - a young man and a sexy young girl. It seems he's being blackmailed. Freya visits her Aunt Patti, who suffers from Lupus. Karen suggests to Daniel that he has a Botox party at her house.
Heston gets involved with a man whose son was abducted four years ago. He thinks he's seen the abductor coming out of Heston's surgery. Jimmi has a surprise for Cherry, only she's a bit upset when she finds out that he's entered them in to a long run. He also wants to spend £400 on a pair of trainers! Freya puts her Aunt Patti forward for the Lupus drugs trial, though keeps their relationship and a few other things away from Kevin.
Rob gets involved with an aging rock star who has received a parcel bomb in the post. He's also had his upcoming tour threatened. Kevin receives the successful candidate list for the Lupus drugs trial. His patient didn't make the list, but Freya's Aunt Patti did! It's the night of Karen's Botox party, and she's fussing over Daniel to try and get him to not only introduce some party games, but to bring baby Joe!
Mandy gets involved with a young girl with a burnt hand and money troubles. She owes a loan shark a £1000, and the debt is getting larger by the minute! When the girl ends up in hospital though, Mandy has a go at the wrong guy! The drug trial has started, and Freya has to see Aunt Patti to put her straight on the lies that she wrote on the application form, so that she doesn't give the game away! Cherry has the problem of what to buy Jimmi for his birthday!
Howard is trying to make some savings, but his intention to move to a hot new accountancy firm puts him in the middle of a father / son feud! All Immie wants to do is revise for her exams, but when Jack's constant noise making and asking for £10 sends her over the edge, he finally decides to help her! Daniel wants Karen's help to push the Botox idea forward, but when Howard looks at the figures, the smile is wiped off Daniel's face!
A man and a woman meet at the local Holistic center. They've fallen in love, only he's married, and they both have cancer! His wife is a friend of Karen's, and she has high blood pressure and is planning a surprise birthday party for him. It's Jimmi's birthday (hurrah), though he only seems to be interested in his new running watch and going jogging. He doesn't even seem interested in 'Mr. Huggit'! Freya is having doubts over using Patti in the drugs trial.
Aunt Patti is worried about all the lying on the drugs trial application, though health-wise she has never felt better. Jack is starting his Personal Consierge service, and gets a call from Aunt Patti to help her sort out her house clutter. Imagine Jack's surprise when he sees a photo of Freya on her mantelpiece! Kevin meets up with Michaela at the local art gallery, but is he out of his depth? An old man has trouble with a local 'yob' who is desperate to get back into prison.
Elaine sees a woman who's trying to find her father on one of those ancestry websites. She's been getting letters from him, though her MS is getting noticeably worse. Due to a power-cut, Immie's exam gets moved to Wolverhampton, and it's up to Zara to get her there on time! Kevin finds out about Patti and has a real go at Freya.
Jimmi sees Jo who is struggling with money, has no food in the house, and is stealing to feed her young boy. Mrs Tembe thinks she can help. Howard tries to placate Chris by suggesting he move on!
Two men go rare bird watching outside the Mill, in a localised blizzard, much to Karen's annoyance. Mrs Tembe goes to offer Jo some Christian charity and advice. Chris tries to fix his dad's bike.
Al sees a dying man who is seeking forgiveness for his sins. Howard goes on a search for the missing Mill toilet rolls, and it's the day of the Coroner's verdict on Sam's death.
Rob finds an abandoned baby in the snow of Letherbridge park, only two women claim it's theirs. Zara and Daniel have a quick one in the Mill store cupboard, unaware of Howard's secret camera.
On their wedding anniversary, Trishna takes grumpy Shiva to see Kevin about his arm, but is he having an affair? Whilst looking for a place for their food bank, Mrs Tembe and Gordon get stuck in the snow when their car breaks down.
Chris and Emma retrace one of Sam's favorite cycle routes. Jas helps a woman and her puppeteer husband - he doesn't think their baby's his. Zara falls over in high heels and snow, and breaks her ankle.
On crutches, Zara hires a new nanny, only she's blonde and sexy. Then Daniel turns up to help and Zara's not a good patient! Kate drags her loved up and coughing mum to see Jimmi. Howard struggles as Chris and Emma get closer.
Daniel manages to convince Zara to move back in to his house while she needs looking after. Howard deals with two aging army guys whose battles with each other are getting out of hand. Mrs Tembe is worried about having sex with Gordon.
In the early 1980s, Emma and Sam meet for the first time, and soon develop a growing relationship. In 2013 meanwhile, Chris meets Uncle Spike, who tells him a few dark tales of what his dad was really like.
Kevin leaves Jas to attend a dead tutor's funeral on her own, where she uncovers a history of serial rape. Zara is in a bad mood on her first day back at the Mill.
Cassie's parents, and Al, try to get her to go to an anorexia clinic. The drive to the clinic proves eventful though. The prospect of sex with Mrs Tembe makes Gordon go and see Jimmi, as he's worried about his 'performance'.
Mandy gives a sexual health lesson at a local school, and helps a young relief teacher who has been spotted dating a pupil. Kevin tries to prove he's still young, so goes out with Chris and his mates.
Daniel tries to re-connect with a struggling Zara, and starts by painting her toe nails. Chris deals with two students, both of whom fancy Yasmin - the new girl. Mrs Tembe finally stays the night at Gordons.
Kevin and Jas help a local DJ with her on air asthma attack, and end up broadcasting themselves! Mrs Tembe and Gordon go to the Hollins' for dinner, and Al gets chatted up by a local barmaid.
Rob brings down the wrath of the new female DI, and her boss DCS Blake, whom Rob has a history with, when he jeopardizes an undercover operation by arresting the undercover officer.
Mandy sees Pearl who's about to have an operation. Her elderly husband is suffering from Altzheimers and is going into respite care. Emma has a go at Howard when he lightens her load.
Emma's at the police station, where she meets an old friend and helps with a case of domestic violence. Howard asks Jas and Kevin to formulate a medical based radio show.
Gordon and Mrs Tembe prepare for the opening of their food bank, while Jas and Kevin prepare for their first radio broadcast. Daniel deals with two brothers trying to sort out their late father's affairs, but where has all the money gone?
Rob continues to be bullied by DI O'Neil as they investigate a local arson. Karen is intrigued by Thomas, who hangs around all day waiting for Mrs Tembe.
Gary's attempts to impress the sexy Welsh student upstairs get complicated when she mistakes him for a virtuoso Spanish guitarist. Mrs Tembe meets up with Thomas, only it goes really badly.
Al gets into trouble with his neighbours and the police when he is accused of stealing an expensive delivery of wine. Mrs Tembe tries to explain to an upset Gordon, but makes things much worse.

Kevin gets nominated for Young GP of the Year. Mrs Tembe tries to get people to condemn her for her past behaviour. Jimmi goes to see DI O'Neil when she doesn't turn up for work, and is shocked when she accuses DS Cartwright of rape.
Heston deals with a young Muslim man who is nervous and stressed out. Rob arrests Cartwright for the alleged rape of O'Neil, and both are interviewed. Mrs Tembe bumps into Gordon at the food bank, but he has some bad news for her.
Karen has to get an elderly salesman to the hospital for his first course in dialysis. He's worried about his wife though, as she's just moved into a care home and is suffering from dementia.
When Howard's car breaks down, he stumbles across an illegal fight at a traveler's camp. He helps the injured man who he thinks was in the army. Checking him out, he discovers that he's a deserter.
Kevin sees Owen who has escaped from a Young Offenders unit and needs money and Meths. Daniel tries to convince Zara that they see a counselor. O'Neil finds out about Emma and Dave's past relationship.
Daniel and Zara start their therapy. Antagonistic and dismissive at first, Zara finally comes around to the day's merits and agrees to start 'dating' Daniel again.
Jas persuades a student patient who's had her stomach pumped, to go on Chris' 1st radio show to talk about it. The show hasn't been going well though. Emma visits DS Cartwright, with startling results.
Rob gets a letter telling him he's been put on a list as a victim of fraud. Emma speaks to Jimmi and goes to see O'Neil after Cartwright's attempted rape of her. Daniel and Zara go on a dinner date.
After constant arguing with her daughter and mother, Gina wakes up on the anniversary of her father's death thinking she's 16 again, and promptly gets arrested. Zara and Daniel join Heston and Howard for a partner's dinner.

Chris helps a mother and son who have been suffering 8 months of persecution over a car accident and death. Howard and Al discover a problem with the patent for Al's Blood Pressure Monitor.
Jas suggests to Al that he collaborates with the South Korean firm over his lost patent design. Emma sees Stuart, and his ex, both suffering from SDIs and a dodgy tattoo. Mrs Land tries to get Mrs Tembe to return to Church.
Two brothers re-unite 5 years after an accident which left one in the hospital, now that their mother has died. One of them though has stolen Jas' purse and is ill himself. The Mill staff are not happy with the 360 feedback comments.
Al has some bad news about his Aunty Sheila - she's died. Kevin deals with an older woman who may be getting dementia. She's arguing with her son and wants to go into a home.
Local news reporter Marnie is desperate to get a good story, but gets in Rob's way when investigating a series of robberies. Heston gets told off by his doctor as his Cholesterol is too high.
Mandy 's patient Keith Rooney is suffering from stress induced by his annoying neighbour Derek Chatterton's insistence on keeping ostentatious Christmas decorations on his roof all year round - which is preventing Keith from selling his house. Keith's efforts to sabotage the inflatables lead to an accident though at least it enables Mandy to sit the two old men down and resolve the problem. Kevin accompanies Howard to the hospital to see an echo-cardiogram machine in action and is smitten by its operator,Hannah. He invites her to lunch with Jas and Al,who are irritated by her high-pitched laugh,though Kevin is blind to it and asks her out on a date. Zara and Daniel resort to playing chess to stay abstinent over the holiday weekend.
Mrs Tembe deals with Terry, his dying mother, and her cactus. The partners try to convince Heston about the benefits of the Echo machine, and Kevin's love-life forces Jas to look for a new place to live.
Karen sees a man who wants to go sky diving, only his blood pressure is a bit high. Liam, Heston's new bursary student arrives. Heston is still against the echo-cardiac machine, and Jas moves into her new house.

On the Hollins' last night with Heston hostilities intensify between Mrs Tembe and Karen,who gets personal during the Name Game and has to apologize whilst Al,still obsessed with Jas,lies to her about his imaginary girlfriend.
Looking after her friend's dog, Jas bumps into Alan, a schizophrenic. He's not taking his Meds, and is causing trouble with his and his mother's neighbours. Karen gets upset when Rob refuses to have breakfast with her.
Daniel sees a young man who believes he's inherited his late dad's suicide tendencies. His protective mother is not helping either. Karen & Rob are all excited after sleeping together. Emma is still worried about Chris.

Emma gets a shock when she wakes up next to a man she picked up at the student nightclub, who then tries to sell her a hot tub. Heston meets up with Angelica, an old friend, who asks for his help. Mrs Tembe & Josh visit a toy exhibition.
Emma has a doctors only dinner party to welcome Niamh. It all starts off a bit awkwardly, though Niamh soon livens it up. Mrs Tembe invites Karen around, and shows her her old record collection.
Kevin discovers a double attempted suicide, and has to deal with the affects on the couple's son. Zara deals with a mouthy pregnant girl, who has asthma and smokes. Karen has an appointment with her therapist.
Mandy consoles middle-aged Ruby and Ivan Slade whose only child has recently died but is surprised when Ruby announces a desire to get pregnant again, using her 'snow babies', embryos stored at the IVF clinic. In fact another pregnancy could seriously endanger her life and Ivan has the embryos destroyed. Meanwhile Mrs Tembe deeply offends Josh by asking his reasons for being a rapist and Zara persuades Jade and her friends to attend a one day event on breast feeding.
Niamh goes to Al for help when she doesn't know how to deal with an elderly patient. A gas engineer & his girl apprentice arrive to fix the Mill boiler. Karen tells Rob that her therapist wants to see them both.

After identifying the body of her friend Edwin, Zara tracks down his drug addled son, but gets in deeper trouble than she bargained for. The Hollins' re-unite in a bid to help Karen, and Mrs Tembe introduces Josh to the Reverend.
Niamh deals with a lad whose online Video Blog campaigning for his worsening cancer proves to be a lie. Immie creates a piece of artwork to try and deal with her mother's situation.
Niamh spends way too long at her 1st call on her 1st official home visit. Daniel sees a stressed lady who's having trouble with her neighbours. Jack, Immie & Karen have a lazy Rebond day, leaving Rob to clean up after them.

An Emily Bronte fan is fed up with the lack of interest in her manuscript. She keeps talking to Emily, but a mole on her face & a phone call make her go to see her hero Dr Granger. Zara goes to see Jade & Niamh tries to get Al's attention.
Noel is worried that an ex con who is doing Community Service for his Aunt, is taking advantage of her dementia. Jimmi is concerned over the amount of pills she seems to be taking. Mrs Tembe makes Josh an offer.
Heston gets into trouble when he goes to get his car fixed. A new jobs-worth security guard starts at the Campus, so Rob and Howard try to get Barry back.
Al sees Lottie, who is very erratic and wants to be taken into care. Jimmi helps Heather look into her Uncle George's family history, though has a fit when she starts on his. Zara takes Joe to the library.
Rob and Emma deal with Ryan, after his partner's daughter finds indecent images on his laptop. Jimmi reveals all to Heather. Howard responds to a break in at the Mill, only to find a drunk Ayesha.
Ayesha finds herself in the middle of a cake war between a mother and a famous chef, whom she's accused of stealing her recipes. Zara calls in Rob when she discovers that her house has been burgled.
Whilst investigating a hit and run, and burglary, Rob and Howard find one of the toys stolen from Zara's. Ayesha joins Emma, Niamh and Heather for their pajama party games night where Heather has a shock announcement.
Mrs Tembe investigates when she meets a young girl who thinks she's an Angel and may be being held at the local convent against her wishes. Heather gets a shock when he ex, Phil, finds out about the baby.
An old friend of Niamh's turns up wanting to stop over, but brings her 15 year old boyfriend along too. Rob and Karen go house hunting with Barry's agent friend, though are shocked to see how young, gorgeous and female she is.
Al struggles to connect with his god son Xander when he tries to look after him for the day. Zara takes Joe to see the doctor, but isn't happy with his views. It's ten years since the Mill opened.
An Army Major friend of Howard's is stopping with him, though Howard gets a shock when he finds his stocking clad date in his own bed. Italian beauty Allegra visits Heston. Heather's feeling ill.
Al winds up Karen with a small Sumatran Idol which he say is 'imbued with mystical powers'. Heather is in hospital after fainting due to her blood clot. Zara opens up to Emma about Joe's consultation.
Emma deals with a woman who doesn't know who she is and may have recently given birth. A very talky new F2, Sid Vere, starts at the Mill, and Howard appoints a very annoyed Zara as his mentor.
Ms Wilson turns up at the Mill with her camera. She's been complaining about the Mill for years, so Howard calls for her liaison officer. It's Sid's first day, but he talks far too much. Ayesha has a flat pack wardrobe delivered.
Niamh deals with Sylvia Blim, though is worried about her ragged appearance and bad cough. Her daughter says she's very rich and owns many businesses. Zara asks Al to look at Joe. Jimmi gets worried when he can't reach Heather.
Mrs Tembe helps out on bread making day at the local refuge for torture victims. Zara has a frustrating day with Sid, especially when she role plays with him and introduces her concerns about Joe.
Paranoid Jimmi gets, well, paranoid again, when Heather disappears. With good reason though, as she's off with Phil. Karen and Rob go to a property auction.
Heston is amazed when carer David Moss begs him not to tell his visiting girlfriend Sue that his mother has just died upstairs as he fears Sue will abort her trip to an Italian cookery school if she finds out. However his efforts to prevent Sure from meeting the undertakers end in disaster and nearly split the couple up. Al is worried when he is unable to contact Jimmi but Zara is pleased when specialist Dr Michael Burnett takes her concerns over Joe seriously.
Al and his flat cap go to Wales in search of Jimmi. Ayesha gets worried when she gets called to see Mrs Rattingan and her son. Sid spends the morning with Heston, though soon puts his foot in it.
Karen pops round a friends for lunch only to find her with another man. Then her husband turns up. Al convinces Jimmi to go round to Bryn's house. Zara takes Joe to the park, and bumps into Dr Burnett and his daughter.
Howard has problems when Bernie the Beagle starts collecting for charity outside the Campus. Jimmi's alcoholic dad is having a bad day. Firstly with the bailiffs, then when Jimmi turns up.
Bryn and Al get a shock when they discover what Jimmi has done to his dad. Will Jimmi do the right thing though, and can they protect him from the police?
Howard coaxes Ayesha into representing the Mill at the local Young Carer Awards, where she meets Jackie and her carer, son Tom. Michael asks Zara a lot of personal questions at their latest session with Joe.
Sid goes to see a patient of Jimmi's who has cancer, but soon gets off on the wrong foot. Michael invites himself round to Zara's, and brings a picnic. Jimmi's back at the Mill, though he's a bit quiet and miserable.
Rob and Emma deal with Norman, who turns up at the police station with cuts on his face, saying that he's a psychopath. Howard tries to talk to Jimmi. Sid and Al are confused when they see signs of Zara being happy.
Al gets caught up and held a knife-point at the corner shop by a Muslim girl looking for happiness. Michael turns up at Zara's with a bottle of wine. Emma, Niamh and Ayesha have a wine tasting night, and end up getting drunk.
Mrs Tembe welcomes a new member to the Church refreshments committee, though she's a bit blunt in her views. Daniel returns from Australia, though he and Zara spend most of the time arguing about Joe. Rob and Karen have a declutter day.
Niamh sees an old Mod with arthritis whose wife has given a motorized bike to. Daniel is finding Zara, and life back at the Mill a bit difficult. He then sees her with Michael.
Rob goes on a fishing trip. Stopping overnight he meets and befriends a guy on a fishing tour. He is not what he seems though. Karen has a bad day after damaging her ankle.
Daniel sees a man who's recently split up from his wife, and is worried that his son might be ill. Sid sees a woman who's worried about her father, who has MND but has been taken off his drugs.
Rob and a young PC stumble across an elderly couple who have been tricked by a conman burglar. It's games night with Emma and Niamh, and Ayesha brings out the Tarot cards. Zara and Daniel try, and fail, to have a night in without arguing.
Zara and Daniel continue to argue after she spent the night at Michael's. Sid and Karen get the brunt of her mood. Mrs Tembe does her back in when picking up a cigarette, though still insists on holding the surprise fire drill.
Al and Niamh attend a friend's wedding. The nasty 15 year old daughter of the groom, Lucy, almost ruins it though, by getting drunk, spiking the drinks of the bride's younger son, and hitching up with an older boy.
Sid joins a patient at a jujitsu class, and helps fix his shoulder when he dislocates it. Daniel and Zara try to sort out their differences at a revamped Icon Bar. Al helps Mrs Tembe when her back goes while in a toilet cubicle.
Karen visits an elderly ex neighbour, who's moving out of her care home and who introduces Karen to her long lost brother. Zara tries to get Daniel to read Michael's research. Mrs Tembe is forced into seeing a chiropractor.
Niamh sees a woman, post hysterectomy, who's trying to revive her husband's sex drive, only to find him in bed with another man. Karen and Rob's move doesn't go smoothly. Jimmi, Zara and Daniel bicker over a problem patient.

A homeless hostel closes putting the likes of Cam and Shazia on the street. Schizophrenic Cam has a job interview which goes horribly wrong. Al begins his walk to Lichfield, but soon ends up in a pub where he saves the landlady's life.
Pregnant Shazia tells journalist Tommy how she became homeless. Al wangles his way into a Bollywood class to get some food, and spends the night in a bed store. Shazia ends up at St Phils with severe pains.
The Mill opens up its doors to the homeless, much to Daniel's shock when he sees Dave. Karen helps Al out after he loses his boots, wallet and with his mobile dead. Tommy's found dead in the river. Shazia is rushed into hospital.
Cam gets arrested for the stabbing of Tommy, and admits all to Emma. After her operation, Ruhma tries to keep Shazia away from Dave. After sleeping rough, Al gets looked after by local Vicar Kirsty.
Zara tries to help Andrew from becoming homeless, after his mum dies and he's evicted from their home. Dave, Shazia and Cam find a new squat. Al convinces Kirsty to sing at Lichfield Cathedral, and visits the home of Erasmus Darwin.
It's Saturday morning, and after a stag night, Sid finds himself at the Mill, naked and wearing a mask. Unfortunately Valerie and Karen are in, doing a job for Mrs Tembe, with Daniel soon to arrive as well.

Jimmi helps a hungover swimmer who he finds vomiting in his hotel room. JJ invites a dodgy friend to hide out at Mrs Tembe's only she's not too happy when she finds him naked in her kitchen. Karl still just sleeps all the time.

In an homage to 'La Traviata' Alfie Germont wants his girl-friend Violet, who has T.B., to give up her escort work and move to Spain with him. However she has her reasons for staying, much to Heston's discomfort, and he must persuade her to act for the best. Mrs Tembe and J.J. successfully convince the grumpy hospital catering manager to accept their ideas - but at a price - and Emma boosts Valerie's confidence regarding the vulnerable patients' scheme.
Ayesha in convinced by a spoiled Ray to visit his old mother after she cuts her hand. JJ admits to Mrs Tembe that he's been made redundant. Al accuses Jimmi of using him as a case study.
Karen suggests that Melissa's mum, who has emphysema, makes a public protest to try and get her daughter, who also has the gene, the drugs help she needs. Valerie goes the extra length to get the sperm she needs.
Sid joins the rapid response unit and the cops when they get called to a gas explosion finding a father and daughter who are seriously injured and a mother who refuses to go out. Megan mentors Jimmi in being a therapist.
