The Close is well organised by Martin with various committees and campaigns. Paul moves in and threatens to upset the apple cart. Ann welcomes their new neighbour, Martin isn't so sure.
Martin complains about the pressure of all of his committee work once too often. Paul persuades the others to help lighten Martin's load.
Martin is scandalised by Paul's behaviour when he burns a perfectly good house sign and entertains scantily clad women in his back garden.
