Near the Franco-German border, in the heart of the Black Forest and the binational military base; 12 bodies are found in a mass grave. All the victims are men, both French and German.

Twelve bodies are found in a mass grave. Judge Camille has a connection to the case, but lost memory after a car accident. French officer Franz Agerland joins forces with young German police officer Erik Maes to investigate the case.

Camille and Erik set out to find Thomas Montal, yet the judge remains reluctant to accept her daughter's boyfriend's culpability. The process of identifying the bodies progresses. Meanwhile, the police interrogate Jeanne Montal.

Initiating a comprehensive operation, Camille consents to assume a pivotal role within it. The process of identifying the mass grave victims remains underway, with certain deaths dating back several decades.
S1.E4 ∙ Épisode 4
While Camille gradually unveils her past, the first victim's identity is revealed, propelling Erik Maes and Franz Agerland towards solving the investigation.
