Gomer winds up losing her and calls Sgt. Carter to help find her. Eventually they track her down to a wild party in Hollywood. Unfortunately, Janet's dress accidentally get's torn and they all are arrested for disturbing the peace. Now they must find a way to explain to the colonel what happened and try not to get into even hotter water.
Gomer is suspected of stealing when he makes friends with a thieving crow.
A live mortar shell goes missing. When Gomer goes off alone looking for it, everyone fears the worse when they hear a distant explosion.
Lounge singer Lou-Ann Poovie gets fired from her job. Private Slater and Sergeant Carter try to get her music deals but Gomer tells her she can't sing. When she hears her own voice played back she quits singing and makes up with Gomer.
