The classic Disney character Goofy is a single father raising his son, Max, in Spoonerville. Pete, a frequent antagonist from the old cartoons, lives next door with his family.

Goofy and Max move to Spoonerville, right next door to old pal Pete.
S1.E2 ∙ Good Neighbor Goof
While Goofy and Pete are rivaling, their kids Max and P.J. are having a great time together. But the friends are soon broken up by their dads. Unhappy with the situation, Max and P.J. do everything to make Goofy and Pete friends again.
S1.E3 ∙ Axed by Addition
P.J. is so worried about being grounded for bad school grades that he tries to enjoy himself like he will never be able to do it again.
S1.E4 ∙ Unreal Estate
Pete has his eyes on the Ultra Fin Laser Guided Telescopic Fish Finder but Peg has other plans for him. She tells him of her plans to sell the lake house and gives Pete the weekend to get the house cleaned up, painted and ready to sell. She gives him money for a handyman which he promptly uses to buy the fish Finder. With twenty bucks left he hires Goofy to work on the house. Naturally, disaster and chaos ensue.

Pete and Goofy decide to take the boys on a camping trip on a recommendation by Peg.
S1.E6 ∙ Midnight Movie Madness
After seeing a scary movie, Max and PJ fear they are being followed by a killer, and Pete uses this situation to his advantage.
S1.E7 ∙ Counterfeit Goof
When Goofy takes up wallpapering, he goes to buy some wallpaper at the store, but winds up in big trouble when he unknowingly uses counterfeit money.
S1.E8 ∙ Queasy Rider
Max attempts to fit in better with friends with his father's old motorcycle, which he has been forbidden to touch. Unfortunately, however, he runs into a gang of mean bikers.
S1.E9 ∙ O, R-V, I N-V U
Max helps Pete design an RV. Max plans to win Pete's affections so that he could hang out with Pete's son P.J. An unforeseen turn of events occurs when Max actually becomes good friends with Pete and forgets about P.J.

As a gimmick to lure more customers to his dealership, Pete sets up an impossible half-pipe skateboard ramp and offers an award to anyone willing to try. Goofy, who has never won any awards in his life, decides to give it a try.

A messed up science project gets everyone to believe in an alien invasion. Pete, however is reluctant to believe that.

The boys build a glider and the first one to test it is Pistol. But her wish isn't granted because she is too young. So Goofy takes the disappointed Pistol to an air show where she ends up saving Pete's life.

The coach of the baseball team is getting on the nerves of Goofy and Pete. He appears to be the very same coach that dismissed Pete and Goofy from the baseball team 30 years ago.

Goofy and Pete vie for a prize on "America's Most Painful Home Videos".

Pete, Peg and Max encourage P.J. to ask out a girl to the Spring Fling.

Goofy refuses to fulfill Max's request to get a security system for the house. Max decides to crash at Pete's house, which is very safe since they installed the latest security system. Little does Pete know that his burglar system was installed by robbers.

Goofy wants to get Max's attention on history. So he tells him a story regarding his ancestors.

Max and P.J. try to stop the Pharaoh's gang that takes over the popular hangout in Spoonerville. Max's cousin Debbie has a plan.

After seeing a competitor car lot, Pete encourages Goofy to become an inspector.

Max and PJ got a rock band going on, and Goofy joins in- with a Ukelele?!

Max finds an egg. When the egg, hatches a baby dinosaur come out.

Pete thinks that he is going to die. So he makes immediate plans.

Pete and Goofy end up fighting over a gold they discovered after Chainsaw incidentally appears with gold on her nose.

Goofy hands over to Pete his cat Waffles. Pete's plans are for Waffles to be in commercials.

Goofy and Pete start a recycling contest. Pete discovers that a millionaire has lost a valuable pair of shoes, made out of gold.

Goofy recounts to Max the story of his great granduncle Elliot Goof, a secret agent on the trail of a pair of most wanted outlaws.
S1.E33 ∙ All the Goof That's Fit to Print
Pete starts a newspaper to get the publicity for his car dealer, but runs into trouble when he becomes mistaken for an alien.

Pete pretends to be sick, so he puts P.J. to work at his car lot. Unfortunately Pete really gets sicks when P.J., Max and Goofy make low-cut sales of the cars.

Pete comes in possession of a spooky, old, haunted mansion. The ghost that rule the mansion are three musicians.

A bathtub race between the two teams - Goofy and Max against Pete and P.J. Things become difficult when Pete wants P.J. to snoop around the other team.

Peg's uncle, General Robert T. Sparrowhawk (aka Uncle Bob), Goofy, Max and P.J. become victims of a joke of Pete's.

When pollution becomes an issue in Spoonerville, Goofy and Pete both run for mayor, both planning to stop it.

Pete has an unlimited supply of plans regarding Goofy's home. Sadly of these plans might actually work and deprive Goofy of his home.

Pete is desperate to get water for his garden when Spoonerville experience a drought. So Pete snatches water from Goofy. Unaware of this, Goofy gets in trouble and finds himself in jail. But soon Goofy is out and Pete takes his place as the right guilty party.

Bullies beware! Max and PJ, new School Safety Patrolmen, are on the prowl.

Goofy inherits the his family's scary Frankengoof castle. Along with the castle there is also a monster included. Pete tries to scare Goofy by pretending to be the monster.

Goofy is a rocket scientist. But how can he be? His boss appears to be a monkey.
S1.E46 ∙ Pete's Day at the Races
Pete involves Goofy in his easy money making scheme at the races. Goofy is the jockey and has to ride a very slow horse, that was chosen by Pete on purpose. Unaware of Pete's wish for a slow horse, Goofy comes up with a solution that makes the horse super fast.

After Pete was exposed as a fraud on the local news, he decides to use the most honest man in Spoonerville, Goofy for his own gain.
S1.E48 ∙ Talent to the Max
P.J. can't bring himself to tell Max that his magic act is not real.
S1.E49 ∙ And Baby Makes Three
P.J. and Pistol are so worried about the arrival of a new baby in their family that they (and Max) decide to give Pete a "baby" he will never forget.

Goofy's life is at risk after Pete puts him on the wrestling arena against Bulk Brogan, a wrestling champ.
