It's all about innovation as Gordon Ramsay invites the teams to Oxford to replicate a sushi platter as demonstrated by a sushi master. They then create a cocktail in a can then launch it at Royal Henley Regatta. Who will make the grade?

Gordon Ramsay tasks his contenders to scale 40-foot tall trees to collect pine needles and cones to infuse into Michelin-starred millefeuille. He then asks them to create bottled sauces in Gateshead.

Gordon invites the contenders to the Fish Society in Surrey, where he tasks them with perfectly de-shelling one of the most expensive foods you'll find on any menu, lobster. He then puts them in charge of his Mayfair restaurant, Lucky Cat.

It's semi-final week and Gordon cranks up the pressure as he tests the contenders social media know-how. He then tasks the teams with creating a recipe to appear on the front page of Waitrose's in-house magazine.

It's the final, and Gordon puts the remaining three businesses under scrutiny. They are challenged to create a Scottish limited edition of their products. Who will win his £150,000 investment? Who will be his Future Food Star?
