It follows Tom and Mia as they move to Athens after inheriting a family apartment. He's a company start-upper, while she has become an anti-capitalist activist.

Grandfather George dies in England. At his funeral, his daughter Wendy argues with Xavier, her French ex-husband. Their son Tom from New York intervenes. They meet afterwards in the office of the grandfather's lawyer. Tom learns that an inheritance is bequeathed to him and sister Mia, an old partially condemned apartment building in Athens, Greece. Tom arrives in Athens to meet with the Greek lawyer who has information about the property and their inheritance. Tom also tracks down his sister Mia, who has been living in Athens, but has ghosted her family for months.
