The best player, Michael Ellingsen, is all set for the job and the contract is ready to be signed. But the manager wants the female coach, Helena Mikkelsen, whos team is playing in the womens champions league. How will the club, the players and the town receive a female coach?

When she returns home, her daughter tells her about Adrian, a talented football player that lives in the neighbourhood. Helena realizes that he is a former Ajax player, and tries to recruit him for the team. At a training session Helena asks Michael if she can join in at a crossbar challenge (best out of five). Will she finally be able to convince the team, that she can play football?

It is time for the first game of the season. Will Adrian be mentally ready?

Three defeats at home gets too much for the supporters. They decide to make a joint walkout in the 82nd minute of the next game (thus commemorating a glorious game in '82). Helena's daughter, Camilla, gets a job at the restaurant, and Michael goes to see a female fan. When the supporters one evening paints graffiti on her car and on her house, she gets furious and goes to the supporters' pub, Wolfs Lair, where it comes to a confrontation.

Now it is time for the game against the hereditary enemy, Ålesund. Helena instructs her team to play more on the rough side: pushing, filming, biting ears etc. When Michael's knee is hurt, he must leave the game. In the middle of the game, Elvinds wife goes into labor, and he is called to the hospital. Helena has no other choice than letting Adrian take his place. During a confrontation with Ålesund's trainer, Helena gets the red card and must leave the field. Can they still win the game?

Helena is sentenced four days of quarantine because she pushed the coach from Aalesund. The team wins the first quarantine game with Michael as coach, and he doesn't hesitate to take the honour of the strategy and the victory. At Camilla's restaurant, one of the cooks grants her favours and thinks that he should have favours in return. One evening the Aalesund coach turns up at Helenas home. She manages to turn on her phone recording.

A few hours before the transfer window closes, Helena and Espen are ready to sign on Mario as a new player to replace Michael, whos knee is still not in order. However the money to buy Mario should come from a sale of Stilson, and he failed the medical check. Does Helena now have to sell one of the other players? And can she at such short notice? Meanwhile Camilla, Adrian and Nils are having dinner together. It turns out that Camilla has quit her job as dish washer at the restaurant, because she has got doubts on wether she really can cook.

But if they win, she wants a contract for the next season. Meanwhile Adrians father is working to get Adrian to sign a contract with his own club. But everything changes when Adrian is injured.
