The Raney's travel to an Arizona homestead. TL and Donna are faced with contaminated water, wolves and a mystery predator on their ranch. Marty repairs the water system and Misty builds a turkey coop to enhance the property.

The Raney family assist two Montana homesteaders who face being trapped on their property; The Raney's face their first ever failed rescue when a medical emergency strikes.
S2.E3 ∙ Homestead of Horrors
The Raney's are going to North Carolina to visit homesteaders Emanuel and Chantel, to rescue not only a homestead but a hole house. Marty and Misty Raney brings a lot of building skills to help Emanuel rebuild his slowly failing homestead, while Matt help Chantel overcome her fear of guns, after the tragic loss of her brother in a city shooting.

The Raney's assist an Oregon homestead where fire is a constant threat and livestock are family pets instead of meat.

Freezing conditions and a wild bear threaten a livestock homestead, while the man of the house works in town, so Marty builds a forge shop to get him back on the homestead. Misty builds livestock protection and Matt builds a bear tower.
S2.E7 ∙ Drowning
The Raney's travel to Hawaii, in an attempt to help two homesteaders whose dream homestead is in a flash-flood zone; as the weather closes in, they try to save the property from the water.
S2.E11 ∙ The Bear and the Bees
The Raney family arrives at a homestead with a bee-obsessed owner that is unintentionally attracting bears with his hives; Marty bush-engineers a windmill to pump water to a new bathhouse.
S2.E12 ∙ Hill of Death
The Raneys must save an Oregon homestead trapped at the bottom of a 100 foot cliff separating them from four acres of land they need for food and livestock. Marty risks all forming a road up a bedrock cliff to a forest crawling with mountain lions.
