Houdini and Doyle
At the turn of the 20th century the Metropolitan Police were overwhelmed with bizarre cases so they turned to outsiders including Houdini and Doyle, who collaborated with New Scotland Yard on some unsolved and inexplicable crimes.

Houdini, Doyle and Adelaide investigate when a nun from one of the notorious Magdalene Laundries is murdered. A witness claims the murderer was a young woman tormented by the nun - but she's been dead for 6 months.
S1.E2 ∙ A Dish of Adharma
Houdini, Doyle and Adelaide investigate another unusual case. A 12-year-old boy shoots a prominent suffragette, claiming that he is avenging his own murder - in a past life.
S1.E3 ∙ In Manus Dei
At a public display by a faith healer, a heckler in the crowd is mysteriously struck down. Houdini and Doyle investigate if the healer is channelling the power of God as he claims, and if so can he help Doyle's dying wife?
S1.E4 ∙ Spring-Heel'd Jack
The team go in search of a mysterious phantom stalking the people of London, said to have demonic eyes and the ability to perform gravity-defying leaps. Is it a case of mass hysteria or an entity feeding off fear?
S1.E5 ∙ The Curse of Korzha
A travelling medium who uses her psychic gifts to solve crimes has Houdini frustrated, as he can't figure out her tricks. Doyle feels she may be genuine, so he is mortified when she predicts the end of Adelaide.
S1.E6 ∙ The Monsters of Nethermoor
After a terrifying encounter with otherworldly beings, a man awakes in a field claiming that the aliens have abducted his wife. It is only after Doyle has his own encounter that the team discover what's really out there.
S1.E7 ∙ Bedlam
When several people are scared to death clues lead the team to the notorious Bethlem Hospital - with which Doyle has a disturbing connection. Doyle starts losing his grip on reality, is he going mad or is he the next victim?
S1.E8 ∙ Strigoi
Doyle's good friend Bram Stoker turns up at his house in a panic, vampire hunters are trying to kill him thinking him a vampire. As the team investigate a murder case they begin to wonder what dark secret Stoker is hiding.
S1.E9 ∙ Necromanteion
The team travel to Canada following reports of a homicidal poltergeist. They meet other paranormal experts and one of them, Thomas Edison, shows them his Necrophone with which he claims to be able to talk to the dead.
S1.E10 ∙ The Pall of LaPier
In a small town in Ontario, a minister wakes up to find everyone in his village dead, without any sign of violence. Was this retribution for past acts of evil, and if not, how else to explain why the man of God was the only one spared?
