After release he gets a steady job driving heavy machinery, but everything hits the fan when his mother moves in with him in 2005. Scott catches a whiff of a strange aroma coming from her room and finds her on the bed with a crack pipe. She offers Scott a hit, and he in turn gets Michelle hooked on crack. Soon all three are seriously addicted and tension begins to build over money and drugs. One night, after a week of sleepless drug fueled nights, Scott's mother starts a fight with her son over the television remote. As the argument heats up, it unlocks a dark corner of Scott's drug twisted brain, where for years he's been harboring resentment against her for introducing him to drugs. She pushes him and in retaliation, he slams her against the wall and ....
