Regardless of the truth, Hae-kang is a ruthless lawyer who always wins a case. She sheds no blood or tears making Jin-eon grow exhausted towards his wife.

On her way to see Jin-eon it suddenly starts pouring down rain. In the storm Hae-kang sees her husband putting sneakers on Seol-ri. Hae-kang is enraged at the sight of her husband acting so differently outside of their home.

Hae-kang waits in front of the elevators for the doors to open. She becomes angry after seeing Jin-eon and Seol-ri acting awkward but pretends she's not mad and invites Seol-ri to eat.

Jin-eon finds out that Seol-ri was an orphan. In Seol-ri's tiny one room home, they try to beat the heat with some ice. Hae-kang who is standing outside calls Jin-eon to come home and he lies saying he has to spend the night in the lab.

Hae-kang is angry with the way Seol-ri acts righteous with her blatant attitude but she will not divorce Jin-eon. Hae-kang tells Jin-eon's mother that her son is cheating and asks for help.

Hae-kang can't stand the sight of him getting closer to Seol-ri and they fight at home breaking each other's most valuable possessions. Jin-eon doesn't want to end their marriage in hate and offers to leave the house.

Jin-eon ultimately spends the night with Seol-ri. After waiting, Hae-kang goes to find where Jin-eon is staying. Hae-kang is shocked to see Jin-eon kiss Seol-ri so she jumps into the cold river.

Jin-ri goes to Seol-ri and tries to get her to cooperate with her plan. Jin-ri promises Seol-ri that she will help her in becoming her brother's wife. Jin-eon is in his lab looking in an envelope when suddenly there is a big explosion.

Jin-eon begs his father and agrees to come work for the company as long as he gets rid of Hae-kang for him. After hearing this, Hae-kang decides to divorce Jin-eon. On her way out, she runs into Seol-ri who has just been shopping with Jin-eon's mother.

After an accident, Hae-kang loses all of her memories and is now living as Yong-gi. Hae-kang has the same nightmares every night and this worries Baek Seok. Baek Seok tries his hardest to embrace her and warm her mind.

Jin-eon bumps into Hae-kang on a scooter. Hae-kang offers her business card and tells him to contact her if he's hurt anywhere. The next day, Jin-eon calls the office and asks for Hae-kang and is shocked when she says she's never heard that name before.

Hae-kang goes to Jin-eon to beg him to forgive one of the kids for stealing his wallet. Jin-eon is shocked to see this side of Hae-kang. Jin-eon's family wants Jin-eon and Seol-ri to get married quickly but Seol-ri says her work is more fun.

While Hae-kang chases someone Jin-eon tags along. Seol-ri is calling him but he doesn't answer. Seol-ri is angry when she finds out Hae-kang and Jin-eon are together. In the pursuit, Hae-kang is in a dangerous situation and Jin-eon jumps in to save her.

Hae-kang is bothered by Baek Seok's confession to her. Jin-eon can't get over the fact that Hae-kang is his wife and demands she shows him her ID card. Seol-ri sees the two together and confesses that he's the man she loved, the married man she is with.

Baek Seok asks Seol-ri about Do Hae-kang after everyone's strange behavior. Seol-ri tells her brother that they do look similar but that they are two completely different people.

Seol-ri goes to Hae-kang and slaps her while screaming that she won't have Jin-eon taken from her. Jin-eon needs to meet his wife so he goes to Hae-kang's mother to ask her where Hae-kang is.

Baek Seok is angry when he sees Jin-eon tell Hae-kang how precious she is to him. Meanwhile, Moon Tae-joon was in a hit-and-run accident and has been hospitalized. In the hospital, Hae-kang's mother thinks she saw her daughter pass her by.

Jin-eon is angy when he finds out he's at dinner for a marriage meeting with the families. He says he has no intentions of marrying Seol-ri and leaves. Seol-ri trashes Hae-kang's room and Baek Seok decides to tell Jin-eon his wife is really dead.

An outraged Seol-ri dumps trash on Hae-kang. Jin-eon hears that Hae-kang committed suicide and can't cope with the news. Meanwhile, Baek Seok goes to Hae-kang's old house and is confused to find out that Hae-kang has a twin sister.

Hae-kang is having a hard time with how much Jin-eon has changed after he finds out his wife committed suicide. She confesses to Jin-eon that she's afraid to fall in love with him.

Jin-eon goes to Baek Seok's office to find out about Hae-kang's accident. While he is alone in the office he takes Hae-kang's toothbrush.

Shocked from Hae-kang's stabbing, Baek Seok confesses that he knows everything and he met the real Yong-gi and that it's his fault that all of this happened. Yong-gi is at Seol-ri's place cleaning when she finds Hae-kang's passport.

Jin-eon finds his brother-in-law and decides to beat him up telling him he's tried to kill Hae-kang twice now. Yong-gi tells Seol-ri that she would like to meet Hae-kang but Seol-ri advises against it because it's too dangerous.

Hae-kang goes to get a new ID card. She finds out that she is not Yong-gi but Hae-kang. Baek Seok decides to tell Hae-kang everything he knows and even tells her about her twin sister.

Yong-gi hears from Doctor Min that he met someone that resembles her leading Yong-gi to Baek Seok's office looking for answers about Hae-kang.

Hae-kang has a hard time when she remembers a bad memory after Seol-ri sends hersome old photos. Jin-eon reassures Hae-kang that he won't avoid anything and that he would be by her side no matter what and wait for her because he loves her.

Hae-kang finally meets her twin sister, Yong-gi. Yong-gi tells Hae-kang about the role she played in the death of Woo-joo's father. Hae-kang can't believe it and her and Jin-eon try to figure out if that was true or not.

Jin-eon finds out that Seol-ri knew the truth about Hae-kang and he goes and warns her not to get in between him and Hae-kang again.

Hae-kang got her memories back and goes to Jin-eon's house to ask for her position at Chennyeon Pharmaceutical. Chairman Choi agrees to give it to her. Meanwhile, Jin-ri and Tae-seok grow anxious over Hae-kang's memories and plans something else.

Hae-kang goes to Tae-seok and asks to be Vice President. She demands to be compensated for lost time and also wants Jin-eon to be sent to a research lab somewhere so he can't come back to the main office.

Hae-kang tells Jin-eon off when he asks her to wish him a happy birthday and it breaks her heart. Hae-kang steals Kim Sun-yong's things and gives it to Tae-seok in an effort to send Yong-gi and Woo-joo abroad to keep them safe.

Chairman Choi asks Hae-kang in front of the entire family if she wants to return as Vice President or not. Hae-kang responds by saying she would return. After in Jin-eon's room, Hae-kang feels a surge of emotions when she finds something from her past.

Jin-eon follows Baek Seok and Hae-kang to the sauna and is annoyed at the two of them together. Jin-eon is so anxious he calls Baek Seok but is shocked to find out he or Hae-kang don't answer his call.

Hae-kang rejects Jin-eon only to be confronted by her daughter's murderer, Shin Il-sang! Shin Il-sang is still conflicted by the past and threatens Hae-kang's life once more.

Jin-eon finds out a truth about Hae-kang's father and his father. Hae-kang finds out that Kim Sun-yong didn't commit suicide and is shocked. Meanwhile, Seol-ri threatens Tae-seok with a recording and asks him to ruin Hae-kang.

Jin-eon runs into a drunk Hae-kang in front of her house and they both look at each other longingly. Jin-eon makes sure that Hae-kang gets inside and finds a picture of their family on her dresser and confirms Hae-kang's truth.

Jin-eon promises to tell Hae-kang the truth about her father once he confirms it. Jin-eon starts investigating the accident that happened in 1981.

Jin-eon has never been more happy to hear that Hae-kang loves him. But even though Jin-eon wants to be happy with Hae-kang forever he knows they are over after dinner. He leaves only to find a poisonous oleander plant outside her house.

Baek Seok is unconscious due to spinal nerve damage. Hae-kang is full of despair and guilt thinking Baek Seok got hurt instead of her. Jin-eon and Hae-kang go to the police station to identify the culprit when they find Shin Il-sang's son there.

Jin-eon threatens to put Tae-seok in jail for instigating murder. Hae-kang runs into Lee Jeong-man in the parking garage and starts asking him questions. Jin-eon watches anxiously from the security room cameras.

Hae-kang reveals the voice recording she has of Chairman Choi Man-ho and puts him in a corner. Chariman Choi threatens Hae-kang and says if he becomes a murderer that his son said he would die too.

Jin-eon finds out his dad was in the process of taking care of Mido Pharmaceutical using Hae-kang. Tae-seok tells Jin-eon he holds the life vest that could save Hae-kang and he'd help her if Jin-eon calls off the temporary board meeting.

Tae-seok begs Chairman Choi to abandon Hae-kang and join forces with him instead. Jin-eon is determined to right the wrongs of Pudoxin and asks Hyun-woo to make a task force team. Jin-eon has his eye on becoming the CEO.

Yong-gi and Woo-jo get ready for America and Gyu-seok seems to be upset at the thought of them leaving. Meanwhile, everyone seems to be shocked when they hear that Tae-seok committed suicide while police officers were trying to arrest him.

Chairman Choi is holding on by a thread. Jin-ri visits him in the hospital and dies after she says her farewells. Hae-kang goes to Jin-eon's house to take care of Se-hee and confesses her love to Jin-eon.

Hae-kang and Jin-eon are trying to be happy. Jin-ri is convinced that everything that happened to her dad and Tae-seok was Hae-kang's fault but Se-hee decides to show Jin-ri her dad's phone where Tae-seok sent the text message that made him collapse.

Hae-kang texts Jin-eon that she is leaving to face her past sins. Jin-ri on her way to meet Tae-seok was followed by detectives. Jin-ri tries to distract them while Tae-seok makes a run for it.

Jin-eon happens to run into Hae-kang at the Chinese restaurant she is working for. He's upset to hear she's helping a cell mate. Drunk, Jin-eon goes to Buam-dong where Hae-kang happens to go and hears Jin-eon's truth while he's passed out.

Jin-eon figures out that Jin-ri is hiding Tae-seok in her room and pretends not to know for a couple of days. Jin-ri is getting more worried at the failing sight of Tae-seok's health.

Hae-kang is upset at how the night went and opens her drawers to put on her old wedding ring. Jin-eon comes back home and they each exchange their wedding rings with vows before sealing it with a kiss.
