Still determined to start their mining season early, Claudia follows Robin to an old claim close to home - the Dynasty jade mine. In an unexplored site on the claim, they make an exciting discovery that could change their entire summer. A mistake delays the crew's first crack at cutting the Pit 3 lens, and when the inside is finally revealed, deep fractures plague the giant piece of jade. On Highway 37, a food truck rollover provides Jade City with a produce bounty, but when a second truck rolls over on the same curve, Claudia asks for the police to help crack down on tired drivers.

The crew struggles in the rain and mud to make a deeper cut on the Pit 3 lens. When Claudia learns an important buyer is on his way to Jade City, the race is on to expose high quality jade. Meanwhile rain and run-down equipment can't dampen Josh's excitement at finally being given a task in the excavator.

As the crew races to make a fourth cut on the Pit 3 lens, an important jade buyer, Henry, arrives in Jade City. To everyone's disappointment, the jade quality fails to impress Henry. Despite the crews objections, Claudia explores the idea of moving to 2 Mile, an untouched hard rock jade claim high in the Cassiar Mountains.

Claudia's crew is pushed to their limit with the immense task of tearing down and moving their mining camp to 2 Mile. When illness and a heat wave strike the camp, tempers flare. Claudia worries that the late-summer move could tear apart her crew and sink her mining season.

On the rough road to 2 Mile, Josh struggles with a heavy, unstable load and gets separated from the convoy. He faces a lonely night on the trail while Robin and Claudia forge ahead to the new mine site. The steep climb up to 2 Mile puts Scrappy Larry's battered army truck to the test.

At 2 Mile, the crew is preparing for their final push before winter. Josh and Gary head back to the landing for a load of fuel. After years of getting the raw end of the deal with Scrappy Larry, Robin pulls a prank on his old buddy when he trades him a broken-down truck for fuel tanks. Not to be outdone, Larry's got a few tricks up his sleeve to even out the deal, but the fun and games in Jade City end when Claudia's buyer gives her a near impossible delivery deadline, forcing them all to race back up to the mine.

The race is on to start cutting their 90-tonne boulder and land a big jade sale that could pay for their season, but tension boils over between Robin and his hot-headed son Josh when they can't get the wire saw running. At the scrapyard, Ricky gets frustrated with his dad Larry when his run-down equipment jeopardizes an important hauling contract.
S6.E4 ∙ Trans Mission
While Josh heads out in the truck "6-Pack" on a desperately needed fuel run, Robin discovers a promising new lens. But excitement over the big find is dampened when 6-Pack breaks down, forcing Claudia and Robin to make a risky decision to resurrect an old, unreliable military truck to get much-need diesel into camp. Meanwhile, Scrappy Larry is deep in debt but can't resist a good deal, buying an aging dump truck, despite son Ricky's disapproval.

Claudia and her crew can't seem to catch a break. Josh narrowly avoids disaster driving a load of desperately-needed fuel into the mine and Claudia's devastated when a jade slab cracks while she's operating the wire saw, putting into question her quarter million-dollar sale. At the scrapyard, Scrappy Larry struggles to get back into fiancé Susan's good books after he goes on a spending spree.
S6.E6 ∙ Right Under Our Nose
Claudia and Robin scramble to find a second jade rock to fulfill their buyer's request for two huge jade slabs to be carved into Buddha statues. With only a week until he arrives from Vietnam, they're running out of options so Claudia finally turns to old boulders left at camp by her dad decades earlier, hoping that the solution to saving the deal may have been right under her nose the whole time. Scrappy Larry plays host to a city slicker, Susan's son Jonathan, who's not quite sure what to make of his mom living in a scrapyard.

Claudia's high hopes of making a huge sale turn to disappointment when her buyer from Vietnam doesn't seem impressed with any of her jade. Fearing they could lose the sale if it takes too long, Robin pulls out all the stops to get wheel bearings to Jade City and winds up spending more money than the truck is worth.

Robin discovers a massive lens that could be the windfall they've been dreaming of, but he can't afford the big equipment he'll need to get it off the mountain - until a surprise phone call offers a solution to their money woes. At the scrapyard, Larry's broken-down metal crusher could be the key to turning around his scrap business, if he can ever get it running. But plans to get it fixed are sidelined when a medical emergency pulls him away from the scrapyard.
S6.E12 ∙ Christmas in August
A freak August snowstorm shuts down the mine and has Claudia fearing the worst: if the bad weather continues, they may not get the jade boulders out of camp to seal their half a million deal. Adding to her worries, Six Pack breaks down for the second time in a week and with mother nature threatening to shut them down for good, they don't have time for any more delays. Meanwhile, Larry leaves the scrapyard for a trip to the big city to be with Susan.
S6.E13 ∙ Between a Truck and a Hard Place
When their mine truck Six Pack goes down for the fourth time this season, Robin has to make a difficult decision about the future of their only mine truck capable of hauling out heavy boulders. With winter on their heels, Claudia works day and night trying to find another way to bring out their jade as fast as possible, finally making a desperate plea for help to a neighboring miner.
S6.E14 ∙ Mutiny on the Mountain
With just a few days left in the season, Claudia pushes her exhausted crew to their breaking point as they make back-to-back trips to and from the mine with loads of jade. Tired and fed up, the crew grumbling escalates into a full-on screaming match between Josh and his dad. But things get even worse when Josh is a no-show for work, forcing Claudia to step in and tackle the rough road to the mine on her own. Meanwhile, Scrappy Larry finds a surprise made by Susan that puts a finishing touch on his scrapyard.

The new mining season is full of nasty surprises but an unlikely rescue saves the day. Josh buys a semi-truck. Scrappy can't help buying more scrap than he sells.

The Bunce's main mining truck blows its engine on the muddy road to the mine. Cores from J lens look good and Claudia scrambles to bring in a bigger saw to deal with the potential windfall. Larry's friend Jean finds a woman's work is never done when it comes to helping Larry get his power back on.

Gary and Garon rescue an old army truck for use at the mine but the road up to camp thwarts them at every turn. Claudia tries to bring in new wire saws for a big find. Scrappy Larry buys a slip deck trailer to avoid damaging vehicles but it proves just the opposite.
S7.E5 ∙ Six Pack O' Trouble
Miserable weather wears down the crew. Garon and Josh lose control of Six Pack as the muddy road up to the mine turns into a sled run. Robin and Claudia get their first look inside a big new jade lens. Ricky tries to match his dad's haggling skills selling a huge load of auto batteries.

The crew's only excavator catches fire. A missing part delays drilling. Justin flies in with two large wire saws and soon loses his cool trying to set it up. Scrappy Larry becomes the Santa Claus of corn.
S7.E7 ∙ The Little Saw That Couldn't
Snow comes early and delays mining. The crew tries to power up the wire saw to extract a chunk of the 60 foot lens but hits no end of trouble. Ricky's scrap hauling runs out of gas. Claudia fills in mining when Gary is off sick.

Claudia brings in big drilling equipment and has just four days to find the best jade, but she and Robin can't decide where to look.
