Junkyard Wars
A show in which, each week, two rival teams are given the task of building some kind of machine, in one day, using only the items found in an unusually well-stocked scrapyard. Machines constructed to date have included trebuchets, hovercraft, rockets, gliders, cannons and diving suits.

Mike and Robert head to Amelia Island, Florida, and get lessons in diving and safety so they can salvage under water. They recover old ship parts from the bottom of the ocean and transform them into an original piece.

Each team must build a machine capable of destroying some industrial outbuildings at a disused power station in Norwich. No explosives can be used, but battering rams, tow cables, hydraulically operated arms and so on can be.
