A recently divorced cop adopts a police dog who lost his former companion; together they solve crimes in and around Vienna.

S3.E1 ∙ Todesrennen
A young man is killed when he's racing with his friend. When the man who killed him is found dead, Moser and Rex go to investigate.
S3.E2 ∙ Stadt in Angst
This is Böck's first case with the group. A young woman and her brother are at the landslide, and she dies in the middle of it. Dr. Graf tells Moser and Böck that her drink was poisoned, and her brother is the suspect. But soon a similar murder happens. He had drunk the same drink as she had, and soon all of Vienna is in fear.
S3.E3 ∙ Tod im Museum
A female photographer finds diamonds hidden in a stuffed bear in a museum, and after that, Moser has to find the killer of several people because of the lost diamonds.
S3.E4 ∙ Mörderische Leidenschaft
A female criminal invites a man, who has stupidly fallen in love with her, to free her from jail.
S3.E5 ∙ Annas Geheimnis
A young girl dies after a heroin overdose, and Moser finds out that she was going to go on TV to talk about sexual abuse in her childhood.
S3.E6 ∙ Der Puppenmörder
The owner of a doll shop is obsessed with women and dolls, and he manipulates them to act like dolls before killing them. The body of a young woman is found, and the Homicide Department of Vienna takes over the case. A young girl who lives across the way from the doll shop has witnessed a young woman running away from the murderer.
S3.E7 ∙ Unter Hypnose
A young woman stabs her boyfriend to death under hypnosis, and Moser is trying to find out who hypnotized her and why.
S3.E8 ∙ Jagd nach einer Toten
A young woman collapses on the street and dies in the hospital. Before the autopsy, a security guard is killed and the woman's body is stolen from the morgue. All evidence is pointing to a dive school.
S3.E9 ∙ Warum starb Romeo
During the play "Romeo and Juliette," an actor gets hit by a falling set piece and dies, but it wasn't an accident. It appears that the killer wanted to kill Juliette instead of Romeo.
S3.E10 ∙ Ein Engel auf vier Pfoten
Kidnappers take the wrong boy from hockey practice. Rex gets bitten by a venomous snake and almost dies. Another boy tries to rescue his friend from the kidnappers. Moser has to save Rex and both boys before they all get killed on Christmas morning.
S3.E11 ∙ Mord à la carte
In their next investigation, Rex and Moser have to find who poisoned the business director of an expensive restaurant.
S3.E12 ∙ Blutrote Rosen
A famous doctor and his wife, also a doctor, are shot dead in cold blood after a bunch of red roses are delivered to their apartment. The killers are seem to be professionals. Böck, Moser, Höllerer, and Rex take the case. An expert in curing cancer diseases is kidnapped, and his family is kept hostage by the same killers.
