Kwai Chan wants to understand his son better, he spends the day with Peter to see what he does at work. Peter's reluctant, but he lets his father follow him along. Among their encounters, a youth in the foster care program, a woman who is wants to jump off a building because she thinks she'll lose custody of her child, and a group of Kwai Chan's enemies who pop up and start attacking them at various times.

An undercover cop is shot and Peter must race against the clock to find the gun used or the killer goes free. Enter Laurie, a psychic child whose imaginary friend looks just like Caine and comes to her aid.

Caine and Peter return to the site where the Temple was. And they encounter some people who were involved with it's destruction.
S2.E7 ∙ Only the Strong Survive
Peter goes undercover at a Martial Arts tournament to look for someone who was kidnapped. He asks Caine to show him a move that can impress. When Peter does it, the owner recognizes it. It seems he and Caine meet 10 years ago and it was not a good confrontation.
S2.E8 ∙ Out of the Woods
Peter and Caine vacation out in the woods when a party of lost hikers ask for their help. Caine guides them to a shelter where they come face to face with an escaped convict and his murderous sons.
S2.E9 ∙ Tournament
Caine receives an dubious invitation to compete in a martial arts tournament. At the tournament Caine is reunited with a long lost love and an old enemy.
S2.E10 ∙ The Bardo
An accident sends Peter in a coma; stuck at the Bardo, a purgatory between life & death, he confronts his demons and his life-long abandonment issues as Caine joins him in the battle for his soul but is it too late to save Peter?

The Church is trying to exorcise a man who is possessed. However, something goes wrong and the demon starts to possess other people.
S2.E12 ∙ Warlord
A Chinese warlord comes to town looking for Caine. When he fails to find him, he goes looking for Peter so he goes to the station. The man is very ego maniacal that pushes people around and he butts heads with people at the station especially with Frank. Eventually he finds Caine and tells him, he wants him to help his father who is sick. Caine tells him he will see him when he can. The man goes out and runs into Frank and that's when Frank calls him out and they got at it and Frank ends up in the hospital. Caine later tries to help the man's father but he's so sick Caine can't do anything. When his father died, the warlord blames Caine and demands that Caine battle him to the death.
S2.E13 ∙ The Innocent
Caine's been summoned for jury duty where the case involves a homeless man accused of killing a businessman and robbing him. But the defendant claims the man was already dead when he came across him. Peter decides to go to the trial and as the prosecution makes its case, Caine gives Peter a look which is his way of telling him there were some anomalies in the prosecution's case. Peter has the forensic evidence reviewed and learns that the medical examiner made some oversights. Peter learns that the victim was heavily insured and the beneficiary is his business so the one who has a lot to gain is the man's partner. Peter tries to check him out but couldn't get anything. In the meantime the jury foreman was approached by a man who threatens his family if they don't come back with a guilty verdict. At deliberation Caine hangs the jury. Caine senses something wrong with the foreman and tells Peter that his family could be in danger.
S2.E14 ∙ Magic Trick
Peter tries to save a beautiful woman who is under the hypnotic spell of a stage illusionist, but she resists him. Caine brings his own brand of magic to the nightclub as he battles the mentalist to deprogram the woman.
S2.E15 ∙ Aspects of the Soul
One of the Tong leaders has died. Clarence Choi, the man who tried to blow up Caine, is poised to take control of the Tong. Caine must help improve Peter's Kung Fu so that he can defeat Clarence, and end his chances of leading the Tong.
S2.E16 ∙ Kundela
Aborigines cast a death spell upon Peter's latest flame, an Australian tennis player whose entrepreneur father plans to build a uranium mine on their sacred burial land.
S2.E17 ∙ The Gang of Three
Three men upset about the decline in their neighborhood are pushed over the edge when they witness a robbery at the mall. When they decide to take the law into their own hands Peter and Caine must catch the criminals before they get hurt.

The same man who sought to rob the hotel at Blaisdell's daughter's wedding is back. This time he intends to rob the Museum but gets more than he bargained for as the exhibit he seeks is cursed.
S2.E19 ∙ Dragonswing II
Some men take Caine and he leaves Peter a clue. When Peter tries to decipher the clue, Rykker the mercenary friend of Caine shows up and offers to help. He then asks Steadman to help who reluctantly agrees.
S2.E20 ∙ Sing Wah
An ancient enemy of the Shaolin, the Sing Wah, is in Chinatown hunting a archaeologist who has found a Sing Wah document. He attempts to reach Caine for help deciphering it but soon realizes that possessing the document is a death sentence.
S2.E21 ∙ Enter the Tiger
One of the organizers behind the Tiananmen Square protest is seeking help from the most powerful Chinese leaders to bring about change back home. He needs Caine's protection while they seek out the most powerful leader, the Tiger.
S2.E22 ∙ Retribution
When Blaisdell is accused of a crime he claims he didn't commit. He turns to Caine for help. He suspects it might have something to do with his life as a mercenary. So he asks Caine to take a great risk.
