S2.E3 ∙ Bachelor Mothers
One Saturday night when the girls have no dates, Fonzie drops by and asks them to babysit his godson and they agree. But when a date opportunity materializes, they play odds-and-evens to see who stays with the baby, and Shirley--who usually wins--loses. After she leaves, the guy calls to say he can't keep the date after all, so Shirley asks Lenny and Squiggy to go catch Laverne, but they refuse. Shirley goes and asks them to watch the baby. When she returns to find the baby gone, the guys say someone came, said he was the father, and took the baby. Then the mother shows up.

Shirley wins a honeymoon vacation in a fancy hotel and she and Laverne decide to take advantage of it. Carmine poses as Shirley's husband and they sneak Laverne in, but after Carmine leaves, the girls quickly find out the hotel is intent on getting as many publicity photos of the married couple as possible throughout the vacation.

The girls are happy to head out on their first plane trip ever, but their smiles are turned upside down when their pilot passes out. Leaving it up to one of them to take over the controls.
S3.E2 ∙ Tag Team Wrestling
A lady driver argues with Laverne. Later, the girls take part in a charity wrestling match. To their horror, one of the opposing team is the gal Laverne met earlier and she wants revenge. Will the girls pin them down in the final round?
S3.E3 ∙ The Pact
Shirley's new boyfriend asks Laverne out behind her back. This later leads to a fight between the two. Will they stop arguing long enough to see that their friendship is worth more than one man?
S3.E4 ∙ The Robot Lawsuit
The girls shop in a toy store for a friend. Laverne sees a toy robot and plays with it. The robot blows a fuse though and attacks her. Leading the girls to sue the toy company - but the girls discover the law can be as unfeeling as that robot.
S3.E5 ∙ Laverne's Arranged Marriage
Frank, in old world style, arranges a match between Laverne and a rich cheese tycoon, whose also got a mob connection. Frank wants them to wed, but Laverne would sooner defy her father instead.
S3.E6 ∙ Cruise: Part 1
The girls work as temps to save for a cruise. They deal with a bratty boy, but they make it long enough to finally get aboard and say bon voyage. They discover Len and Squig have stowed away.
S3.E7 ∙ Cruise: Part 2
The girls warn the boys to stay away from them on the ship, since they are stowaways. Laverne meets and dates a handsome sailor. Shirley has a whirlwind romance with a man called Ensign Benson--but is that wind moving entirely too fast for her?
S3.E8 ∙ Laverne & Shirley Meet Fabian
Rosie Greenbaum bets Laverne and Shirley they can't get into the hotel where singer Fabian is staying - as well as getting their picture taken with him. What plan of action will the girls "turn loose" to meet him and put Rosie in her place?

Two FBI agents use the girls' apartment to stake out criminal activity across the street. When the suspect appears outside their window, they are shocked to see Carmine with him. Has Carmine gone bad or is there another explanation?

Dressed as Alice in Wonderland for a local children's play, Shirley ends up going to the hospital instead to get her appendix out. Her fear causes her to run and hide, so the gang must find her before her appendix fails her for good.

The girls take up the odd job of selling house plants door to door, after getting laid off from Shotz. They run into an odd assortment of bizarre tenants who have varied reactions to their sales pitch.

It's New Years Eve 1959 and 1960 is shortly due. In the final hours, Laverne's date cancels, Shirley's sick and Lenny and Squiggy have a special plan for midnight outside the apartment building. Will Laverne leave the '50s in tears or cheers?

Laverne finds an unknown man attractive. Following him to his workplace she finds out he's a mortician. She tries to get close by having Shirley fake that she's doomed. Will he feel closer to Laverne for this or horribly offended?

Shirley rescues a white horse. The owner wants to send it to the glue factory, but Shirley seeks him a happy home. She gets Edna in trouble with a health inspector for having him in the apartment. Will it be greener pastures for Buttercup?

Laverne and Shirley get reacquainted with Ms. Babish's mentally challenged daughter, Amy, who's visiting from her special school. Lenny meets Amy and immediately comes to like her, despite people's protests about what's best for Amy.

The girls must book acts for the annual talent show for the brewery - but must also find 'something' for the seemingly untalented and clumsy son of Mr. Shotz to do. Will he make the Shotz spotlight or make a monkey out of himself?

Laverne busts a tooth but wont see a dentist. Shirley suggests her student dentist cousin Mikey. Laverne's hates the idea. Mikey has flunked before. Shirley gets her okay but once in the chair will Laverne truly feel safe in Mikey's hands?

Traveling to another city by bus for a date, the girls end up being ditched by two medical students who don't find them easy enough. Leaving the girls stranded overnight with no way home for over 12 hours.

Laverne and Shirley try to help Squiggy study to ace his written exam for his driving test or else he'll lose his job as a Shotz truck driver.

Carmine wants to own the dance studio he works at by trying to get a financial backer. The girls - plus Lenny and Squiggy - try to help in their own way, but it may be out of step in helping his chances.

A jealous Frank doesn't like Edna's ex-husband showing up and spending time with her. This causes them to break up. Laverne and Shirley must patch things up between the two and show them how much they really love and need each other.

Laverne's new man Jake is exciting, but that excitement turns to danger when he forces her to help rob a store. Shaken up, she begs Shirley to help rid her of him. Jake won't have it, but can they get him to surrender to police?

TV game show "Be Silly for Dollars" comes to Milaukee. Len, Squig, and the girls are chosen as contestants. The boys are happy, winning a salami, but the girls perform zany stunts to win the grand prize from "The World of Luxury".

Shirley takes a night school Medical Assistance class. Laverne joins her too. One Professor Wilner makes learning tough for Laverne so she walks out, as he says she's unteachable. Will Shirley help Laverne bone up and pass the class?
S4.E7 ∙ A Date with Eraserhead
The only date - a blind one at that - Shirley finds to make Carmine jealous, is with a former classmate known as Eraserhead (an already balding, chubby, and weird guy). Is it really worth it to get even with Carmine for dating another?

A bully that works with Lenny and Squiggy is always pushing them around. He gets them to set him up with Laverne, but he has only one thing on his mind. Will the guys step aside or stand up to him and save Laverne?

Frank and Laverne are fighting because she refuses to visit the cemetery to honor her dead mother on her birthday. Later it's discovered that her reasons go deeper emotionally than just not liking cemeteries.

Despite her Pop's doubts, Laverne and Carmine travel to Chicago to try out for the musical West Side Story. Carmine teaches her the steps and moves but will Laverne's audition run as smooth?

Shirley befriends a German Shepard at the kennel when its abusive owner claims he's a mad dog. Finding out all unadopted and unclaimed dogs are killed, she and Laverne have a sit in. Can their efforts save him and all the other dogs?

Frank DeFazio loses some of his Christmas spirit when he has to cancel his yearly gathering for the homeless and poor. The girls and friends step in to help him keep the holiday meaningful for the less fortunate.

Shirley and her brother think she's adopted as she doesn't resemble any Feeneys. Later at the hospital where Shirley was born the girls try to get the truth by accessing a private file room in disguise. Is Shirley not a true Feeney female?

Surprisingly, Mr. Shotz puts Lenny and Squiggy in charge of lining up talent for his annual show. The boys go 'power mad', turning down over half that audition. Can the girls cut the strings on these puppet rulers and help the show go on?

As Shirley goes back for a grocery item, Laverne's at the check out line, winning a shopping spree. Shirley feels jealous of her but soon Laverne sees she's forgotten her friend. The two then team up for an all out 5 minute, Supermarket Sweep.
S4.E18 ∙ Lenny's Crush
Laverne shows Lenny a kindness and then gives him a kiss. Lenny now feels he loves her, and she's now his. No one can get through to him that this isn't the case, but Laverne hopes to let him down easy without completely breaking his heart.
S4.E19 ∙ Fire Show
A small fire in the girls bedroom becomes the start of a rift between them. Both girls become smitten with one of the handsome firemen that show up. Who will warm his heart and whose hopes will be extinguished?
S4.E20 ∙ Squiggy in Love
All are baffled by a woman's interest in Squiggy as a boyfriend. He loves her like crazy. She's able to make her every whim his command. Can Squiggy be woken up to see she's only using him?

Laverne wants Joey to like her more, but he treats her like one of the guys. Offended, she asks Shirley to help her look and act more 'girly and feminine'. Will pal Joey like the new and 'lighter' Laverne?

A phone co. check is sent in error to the girls. Laverne's for keeping it but Shirley says it's wrong. Warning Laverne it could mean trouble. Later,both have separate dreams of paradise & purgatory,the results of the choice that was made.
S5.E5 ∙ What Do You Do with a Drunken Sailor?
Shirley's sailor brother returns but he's not the Brother Shirley remembers. He's developed a drinking problem. He denies he's an alcoholic & just likes to have fun but Shirley's determined to bust him out from the bottle.
S5.E6 ∙ You've Pushed Me Too Far
A fight between Lenny & Squiggy boils over & Lenny falls out of the top floor window and into the alley. Lenny gets no respect and now gets no apology from Squig,so he ends their friendship. Can the others reconcile the gruesome twosome?

Frank DeFazio, in his own unusual way, proposes to Edna after seeing her for some time. She accepts and Laverne is happy to welcome Edna to the family; but now the race is on to plan the ceremony and find a church due to Frank's forgetfulness.

The girls realize things have changed in their old club "The Angora Debs", when they let Edna's niece Vicki join. Finding that it's become a gang of trouble making teenage girls. Can the girls save Vicki and the old Deb spirit as well?

Denied promotions at work, the girls resign and join the army, expecting a new level of respect. The boot camp Sgt. is nice but when assignments are given, they get Sgt. Plout. A regular Army woman. Was joining the military a major mistake?
S5.E10 ∙ We're in the Army, Now: Part 2
The girls see the army's not for them and want out, when assigned to a dangerous mission. The boys' idea to go AWOL makes no horse sense, so the girls decide on taking leave of their own senses. Will Alvinia believe their manias?

The girls okay a blind date, set up by Lenny and Squiggy. Later when the men arrive, they're two 'little people', which gets them laughed at by two mean girls from work at the roller rink. It's a case of stand tall or a short roller brawl.

Mr. Shotz wants a patriotic theme for his annual talent show. The girls and their players must make this happen, but still want to make a show that will, in the end, rock Mr. Shotz's demanding role.

Laverne, Shirley, Lenny, and Squiggy become justifiably paranoid when Mr. Shotz orders employees to a mandatory visit with a psychiatrist. Is the good doctor there to help Mr. Shotz terminate, or simply to evaluate?
S5.E14 ∙ Not Quite South of the Border
A too good to be true, inexpensive vacation to "Near" Mexico, proves to be just so when the girls get a room with a wall missing. Plus many other deceptive practices foisted on them and other guests by the hotel's deceitful owner.

With a movie about to be filmed in Milwaukee, the excited girls try out for parts and land the leading roles. Of course, they are not so thrilled when they get the real scoop on the film and their parts.

A visit to a local beatnik coffeehouse does not impress Laverne much, but Shirley's enamored of the culture and soon is dressing, speaking, and acting like a beatnik herself. Can Laverne sway her friend back from the lure of the beat scene?

A power company clerk is mean when the girls complain of bogus charges on their bill. So they stage a protest and chain themselves to the company's new computer. However, a far angrier customer has an even more explosive protest in mind.

Laverne is in deep denial when she learns that her boyfriend, a firefighter with the Milwaukee Fire Department, is killed fighting an apartment blaze.

In need of better and faster income, Carmine compromises his principles and becomes a debt collector for a local loan shark. The girls find out and do all possible to save him and return him to his lovable self.
S5.E20 ∙ Murder on the Moose Jaw Express: Part 1
While on a train heading to Canada, the girls end up in the middle of espionage and murder. After an injured man comes to them warning, "Beware of the bald man", he dies. Who is the bald man and will the girls escape certain danger?
S5.E21 ∙ Murder on the Moose Jaw Express: Part 2
Laverne sees Shirley is missing, Lenny and Squiggy attempt a rescue, and no bald man on the train is above suspicion. Laverne realizes she needs to 'out' the villain and confront him. Will Laverne, Shirley, Lenny, and Squiggy survive?
S5.E22 ∙ The Survival Test
Being in the army reserves puts the girls to the test when Sgt. Plout takes them on a survival test. Far from the comforts of home. Their lone competitor is a soldier, who feels girls couldn't possibly 'rough it' or defeat him.
S5.E23 ∙ The Duke of Squigman
Squiggy is a sleepwalker. Not just walking, but seemingly awake he becomes "The Duke Of Squigman", and Lenny must protect him then. It's decided, Squig needs a therapist to find the deeper reasons for his subconscious persona.
S5.E24 ∙ Antonio, the Amazing
Laverne's distant Italian cousin, Antonio, comes to the U.S. seeking his fortune. Trouble is, he's not good at many things, getting fired from his first job. Will the girls help him grin and bear it and find his place in his new land?
S5.E25 ∙ The Diner
Lenny and Squiggy come into some money and invest in a run-down diner. Their ideas about food service bring no business, so they hand it over to the girls. The ladies spark success but could get burned by their own ambitions.
S5.E26 ∙ Separate Tables
To help Laverne fight a phobia of doing things alone, Shirley comes up with the idea of Laverne dining alone for a full evening in a Chinese Restaurant. Hopefully the owner and the entertainment will help her forget her solitude.
S6.E1 ∙ Not Quite New York
The girls (and all others in the bottle-capping department) are cut loose by Shotz. They've been replaced by a machine. With nothing to lose, they decide to join Frank and Edna in Burbank, CA and say goodbye to Milwaukee.
S6.E2 ∙ Welcome to Burbank
Lenny and Squiggy drive the girls to Burbank in an old ice cream truck. The girls enter and set up their new apt. Soon, they meet their new neighbors and are quickly shaken up in California ways. Will they adapt or head on back?
S6.E3 ∙ Studio City
The girls find out about auditions for a new Troy Donahue film. Upon arrival, it turns out the studio's seeking stunt women. The girls go for it, only to discover Troy's not in their scene. Is there still hope to meet their movie idol?
S6.E4 ∙ Grand Opening
Shirley's working, Laverne isn't; Shirley's paying all the bills. Also Cowboy Bill's is opening and Sonny and Laverne were to do a stunt. He gets hurt so it's Shirley who ends up throwing knives at Laverne. Is she really "this" mad at her?
S6.E5 ∙ Candy Is Dandy
The girls land a full time job working in Bardwell's department store, gift wrapping. First task? Wrap boxes of candy. Laverne eats some, unaware they contain Rum. She ends up out of it and Shirley's in a panic. Will their new boss give them the toss?
S6.E6 ∙ The Dating Game
The girls fail to get on The Dating Game, but Lenny and Squiggy (somehow) get chosen by host Jim Lange. The boys turn the show upside down with their crazy antics and answers. Can they still rate winning a date?
S6.E7 ∙ The Other Woman
Shirley dates a doctor estranged from his wife. While watching his son at Cowboy Bill's, Laverne meets her. She's almost Shirley's twin. Shirley meets her later and now sees herself as a substitute. Which lady's heart will break in the end?
S6.E8 ∙ The Road to Burbank
A hotel in Nevada is suing for room damages caused by Laverne, Shirley, and the boys while en route to California. Both say it's the others' fault, and both tell different versions of what went down. Who's truly guilty here?
S6.E9 ∙ Born Too Late
Lenny and Squiggy attend a silent movie show. They like how the boy gets the girl. Failing to do so at Frank's restaurant, they discuss how the "leading man" could be used to their advantage. Shown in "silent films" starring them.
S6.E10 ∙ Love Out the Window
Laverne loves stuntman Sonny, but fears losing him if a stunt fails. Shirley tells Sonny. He quits to sell insurance, giving Laverne less to worry about. Seeing later that he's now unhappy, Laverne plots to get him back where he belongs.
S6.E11 ∙ Malibu Mansion
Cowboy Bill (who gave Frank his franchise) hires the girls to house-sit his seaside Malibu home. After he leaves, Laverne gets the not so bright idea to throw a beach party, inviting all - and inviting a storm of trouble.

Laverne, after breaking her leg, feels like a burden to others. She also feels self pity. Wishing out-loud she was never born, a guardian angel appears, showing her what friends and her father would be like if she hadn't existed.

Carmine and Shirley perform a beautiful duet at Cowboy Bill's. Laverne too, wants to sing as pretty a song as they did. Carmine gives her voice lessons and Lenny also tries to help, but it just may be Squiggy has the real answer for her.

Laverne says yes to her boyfriend about living together, and Shirley must keep Frank from finding out. Later, Laverne starts to doubt the arrangement. Is it together forever in love or just for fun?

Sheba and Laverne are still in prison, mistaken for 'Smith and Jones'. The good news? Lenny and Squiggy visit there and spot Laverne. She sends them back in a hurry to get help from Frank and his army buddy judge, to save them before it's too late.

Tossing out a chain-letter seems to bring Laverne and those around bad luck. So much so, they enlist the help of a Gypsy Spiritualist to try and remove the hex from her.

Two Russian ballet dancers (one a twin for Squiggy) try to defect to the U.S. The KGB mistakes Squig for the dancer and threaten his life. It's up to Laverne and a handsome male ballet dancer to rescue him and help the other two escape.

Sgt. Plout has been discharged from the Army for getting pregnant. She gets Laverne's help, as she's single with no career now. The two team up to win a "mother to be" contest to win baby supplies for her on-the-way infant.

Impressed by Chuck's chops on the harmonica, Laverne advises him to start a band. He does so with his co-workers from the Aero-Space Factory. With Laverne's help, can these misfits of science become a '60s rock and roll "mod" squad?

Laverne gets jealous of the models her fashion photographer boyfriend works with. So much so, she nearly ends up sabotaging a media-covered fashion show, by strutting out onstage herself to keep an eye on him.
