Mako Mermaids
A young man is magically turned a merman, and discovers his underwater origins, after he comes in contact with the magic waters at the mysterious Mako Island guarded by a trio of mermaids.

Sirena, Lyla and Nixie have the task of keeping trespassers off the magical island. On a full moon, they fail to stop a land boy, Zac, from falling into the sacred Moon Pool, and the power of the moon transforms him into a merman.
S1.E2 ∙ Getting Legs
Sirena, Lyla and Nixie must turn Zac back into a land boy. Using Sirena's Moon Ring, they give themselves legs and walk on land to begin their task.
S1.E3 ∙ Meeting Rita
In trying to get the Moon Ring back, the mermaids uncover Rita's secret.
S1.E4 ∙ Lyla Alone
Nixie and Sirena go on their first shopping spree after discovering Rita's treasure. When a waitress spills a drink on Lyla, she rushes to the cool room - just before transforming into a mermaid.
S1.E5 ∙ Blizzard
Lyla and Sirena attempt to use the Moon Ring to stop the rain, but instead make it snow indoors.
S1.E6 ∙ Dolphin Tale
Joe, David's brother has bought a new boat and decides to take it out for a spin. His fish finder locates a dolphin, but that dolphin is actually Nixie.
S1.E7 ∙ Zac's Pool Party
Zac's struggle with his merman secret intensifies when his girlfriend, Evie decides to throw him a pool party.
S1.E8 ∙ Zac's Return to Mako
It's a full moon and the mermaids think that if they keep Zac out of the moonlight, he will lose his powers and return to his land-dwelling self. They stay with him in his garage on the full moon and attempt to keep him indoors
S1.E9 ∙ The Siren
While listening to Sirena sing, Lyla has an idea. If Sirena sings The Enchantment Song to Zac, he will fall under her spell. Everything goes south when David hears the song and falls in love with Nixie.
S1.E10 ∙ Zac Returns to Mako
Against Nixie and Sirena's advice, Lyla goes with Zac to Mako Island. She steals Rita's Moon Ring to open the land entrance on Mako. But when the entrance suddenly closes, Zac and Lyla are trapped inside.
S1.E11 ∙ I Don't Believe in Mermaids
The girls fear their pod will never return. A despondent Nixie gives "advice" to a young boy named Ben. Zac researches tridents online and Cam snoops. Rita tells Lyla and Sirena about the trident and a pod of mermen that rose up eons ago.
S1.E12 ∙ Close Call
Zac continues to try to find the trident. Lyla focuses on keeping him from it. Rita won't keep giving the girls money so Sirena makes bracelets for the Café to sell. While Sirena gathers shell for them, Zac catches a glimpse of her tail.
S1.E13 ∙ Betrayal
With the arrival of the full moon, the girls must keep Zac from returning to Mako Island and getting the trident.
S1.E14 ∙ Battlelines
Rita begins training the girls since they didn't finish mermaid school, starting with creating and controlling storms. Zac and Cam are suspicious that Rita is a mermaid. Cam thinks threatening her exposure could mean a free ride at school.
S1.E15 ∙ Sirena's Secret
David encourages Sirena to try out for a job singing with him at the Ocean Café.
S1.E16 ∙ Truce
Cam takes a video of Zac swimming as a merman. Cam annoys Nixie at the Café, so she sends his phone flying. The girls clash with the boys on how to get it back. When Cam & Nixie deduce what really happened to it, they quickly hatch a plan.
S1.E17 ∙ Moon Ring 2
While out for a swim, Zac finds a ring embedded in a rock on the ocean floor. He gives the ring to Evie but when Sirena sees it she recognises it as a Moon Ring.
S1.E18 ∙ The Trident Job
The Halloween costume party at the Ocean Café falls on a full moon. The girls are suspicious that Zac will ditch the party and head to Mako Island so they vow to keep an eye on him all night. Can they stop him from getting the trident?
S1.E19 ∙ Where's the On Button?
Zac can't get the trident to do anything so he hatches a plan to snoop around Rita's house. While Evie interviews her at home for the school's magazine, he sneaks about and discovers her secret room.
S1.E20 ∙ Nowhere to Hide
The Trident is active and dangerous, and the mermaids must take it from Zac. Knowing this, Zac searches for the perfect hiding place.
S1.E21 ∙ Aquata Returns
While swimming, Zac sees Aquata who flees to the Moon Pool, reuniting with her sister. Aquata informs Sirena that she may return to the pod. Zac uses the trident to find the Moon Pool. With Sirena gone, Lyla and Nixie confront Zac and Cam.
S1.E22 ∙ Evie Times Two
David delivers Rita's fish order with Evie tagging along to snoop. Poseidon steps through a puddle of mixed mermaid phials transforming him into Evie's doppelgänger. Zac & Lyla keep an eye on Poseidon while Nixie & Sirena find an antidote.
S1.E23 ∙ Zac's Choice
Lyla goes to check that the trident is still hidden and watches Zac and Cam find it. While attempting to wrestle it away from Zac, it zaps her into unconsciousness. Now realizing the extent of the trident's danger, Zac must make a choice.
S1.E24 ∙ Trust
Cam is mad at Zac for returning the trident. Rita invites Zac to train with the girls but Nixie still doesn't trust him. As Lyla & Zac spend more time together, Nixie becomes more upset and decides to ally with Cam to return Zac to normal.
S1.E25 ∙ Betrayed
Pretending to be interested in safe-guarding the trident from Zac, Cam offers to help Nixie move it to a secure location.
S1.E26 ∙ Decision Time
Cam apologizes to Zac for his betrayal but keeps the trident hidden. The girls look forward to returning to the pod. Everyone catches on to Cam's scheme and races to Mako Island. Will they stop Cam and be allowed to return to the pod?
