S1.E1 ∙ The First Day
A young murdered French woman Amelie Delagrange, is found on Twickenham Green in London in 2004. DCI Colin Sutton of the Met is tasked to investigate. Using CCTV , Sutton sees a white van parked near the green but cannot read the plate number. The search for the van is on, with a third of his staff looking through 25,000 van registrations. Based on a true story.
S1.E2 ∙ The Van
A Police Constable tells Sutton about a statement a woman gave on another murder. That man also has a white van. They do surveillance on Levi Bellfield and charge his house to arrest him. But he is not there. Where did he go? His wife points to the loft.
S1.E3 ∙ The Suspect
After arresting Bellfield, Sutton realizes he only has 72 hours to tie him to three murders and an attempted murder. He has to get other departments to co-operate with his or they can't win the case. Then Bellfield's wife walks into the station to give a statement.
