After deciding to fore-go college, Moesha is now working at "Vibe Magazine" Her friends are jealous of her seemingly glamorous job but in actual fact she is just a gopher. Meanwhile Moesha's cousin Dorian, has run away from his home in Oakland and is seeking refuge with Myles.
S5.E2 ∙ Fired Up
In her new job, Moesha manages to set up an interview with Dr. Maya Angelou and convinces Niecy to be her secretary. Dr. Angelou gives Moesha some advice on going back to college. Later Joe discovers Moesha's deception.
S5.E3 ∙ The Party's Over (Here)
While trying to keep up with the social life of college as well as the academic life, Moesha and Niecy are invited to their first college party. After discovering that the punch is spiked the hard way, Moesha's faced with having to call Frank to pick her up.
S5.E4 ∙ Mis-directed Study
Moesha tutors athletes and an NBA candidate tries to get her to write his English paper for him.
S5.E5 ∙ Not My Pumpkin
Frank gets upset when he discovers Moesha has been taking birth control pills and he's the last to know. Dorian is falsely accused of shoplifting.
S5.E6 ∙ Just Above My Head
Moesha struggles to deal with her new history professor who has AJ unfortunate habit of making racially disparaging remarks in his attempts at humor.
S5.E7 ∙ A Den Is a Terrible Thing to Waste
A well- intentioned Moesha intervenes to try and stop her once popular hangout, The Den, from being sold to a commercial developer, unaware that Andell stands to make a great deal of money on its sale. Meanwhile, Dorian's involvement in a fight at school puts him in the doghouse with Dee, who has trouble keeping her work and home life separate where Dorian is concerned.
S5.E8 ∙ Isn't She Lovely?
Moesha prepares for the homecoming dance but "friends" Moesha and Hakeem soon start to realize that the depth of their friendship may be reaching a new and unexpected level. Meanwhile, Myles disappoints Frank after selling the comic books that Frank handed down to him for his birthday.
S5.E9 ∙ Unappreciated Interest
Dorian pulls a credit card scam and makes matters worse by lying about it. Moesha and Niecy get to be roommates when Piper leaves town.
S5.E10 ∙ Thanksgiving
With Dee sick in bed with a bad cold, Moesha offers to prepare the Thanksgiving feast, but finds herself engaged in a fierce cooking competition with Hakeem's mother. Meanwhile, Dorian gets the wrong impression about his mother's feelings for him when she comes to visit, leading to an emotional confrontation between the two.
S5.E11 ∙ To Sleep, Perchance to Dream
Moesha begins to have rather erotic dreams about Hakeem. She tells Niecy, who believes that the two were always meant to be together. There is even more stress as the three prepare for a ski trip and Niecy wants them to work it out before Moesha considers backing out of the trip.
S5.E12 ∙ He Doth Protest Too Much
Moesha discovers that some of her classes are more difficult than she thought. Dorian speaks up to support the girls basketball team at Crenshaw High.
S5.E13 ∙ Let's Talk About Sex
Moesha crashes in Niecy's room after a party but meets another unexpected guest in the morning. Moesha catches Dorian making moves on a teenage girl.
S5.E14 ∙ Secrets & Lies
Odd-ball Aunt Hattie comes to visit Frank revealing life changing secret to the entire family. Meanwhile Moesha tells her family that she will be moving onto campus.
S5.E15 ∙ Color Him Father
Dorian's 17th birthday party grows more and more extravagant as Dorian takes advantage of Frank's guilt after finding out that Frank is actually his biological father.
S5.E16 ∙ Family Affair
Still angry at Frank for keeping his relationship to Dorian a secret, Moesha refuses to introduce her father at a "Businessman of the Year" banquet.
S5.E17 ∙ The Matchmaker
Hoping to boost the confidence of her new roommate, Theresa, Moesha asks Hakeem's good-looking friend to ask Theresa on a date but can't leave well enough alone when the date is a success. Meanwhile, Myles and Dorian come to blows - literally- when Myles tries defending Frank.
S5.E18 ∙ Gimme a Break
Moesha, Niecy and Hakeem go to Santa Barbara for spring break. A rival spreads false information when her ex-boyfriend shows interest in Mo.
S5.E19 ∙ Something About Moesha
Having been neighbors and friends nearly all their lives, Moesha and Hakeem wonder if there is more to their relationship.
S5.E20 ∙ The Robbing Hood
Dorian spends a weekend with Moesha, and all the residents in her dorm are robbed except for her, who draws a conclusion that puts them at odds. Meanwhile, Myles doesn't appreciate his friends comments about how "good" Dee looks.
S5.E21 ∙ Arriving Right on Q
Moesha and Hakeem hit the first bump in their relationship when Hakeem spends more time away from Moesha. Elsewhere Doreen gets a job working for Frank.
S5.E22 ∙ D-Money Loses His Patience
Hakeem tries to convince Moesha to pass on Q's offer to go on the road with his band, and focus on her priorities: school, family and him. Moesha admits to being too distracted to make a clear decision. Meanwhile, Dorian pleads with Frank to cover his debt before Patience, the gangster he was working for, comes after him.
