The life of 24 year old Helene is the complete opposite of a perfect Instagram world. She was also partly to blame for her parents divorce. When she meets cello teacher Oskar, Hell finally has a chance to live the life she imagines.

Helene loses her job at the Children's Center and looks for something new to do with her life.
Helene takes a job at a call center but deceives her father into thinking she's completed law school, passed the bar, and is now a lawyer. In a series of flashbacks we see young Helene's attempts to fix her parents' failing marriage.
Helene reconnects with Malden, one of her charges from the Children's Center. She also pursues Oskar, hoping that taking cello lessons from him will lead to a relationship. In flashbacks young Helene searches for the reasons her parents broke up.
Helene asks her cello teacher, Oskar, to pretend to be her boyfriend at a couples dinner.
Helene loses her job at the call center. She borrows money from 7yr old Madlen to take Oskar on a trip. In flashbacks we see young Helene moving in with her divorced mom and her mom's new man.
Helene's quirky imagination threatens her relationship with Oskar but proves to be a plus when it comes to her new job in airport security.
Helene's mom and Dr. Spellart come over for a reconciliation dinner. Helene overhears them discussing her father's failing health.
Helene realizes she needs to deal realistically with her real problems.
