Single mother Pørni is responsible for three children, her elderly father, and all the children she meets in her job at the child welfare service.

S3.E1 ∙ Same procedure as every year
Christmas is approaching, and so is the first anniversary of Anne's fatal accident. Sigrid has changed her clothing style, and Hanna leaves for her long-announced trip to Buenos Aires. Pørni must prepare for a different kind of Christmas.
S3.E2 ∙ Daddy issues
Pørni is annoyed at Ole Johan, who meddles where he shouldn't, and she accidentally meets one of Anne's old students. Kenneth proves to be a true friend, and Hanna's dating tales from Buenos Aires are cause for concern.
S3.E3 ∙ Ding dong merrily on high
Sigrid and Pørni visit Anne's grave, and Pørni learns something important about Bjørnar's baby. She meets an old client with an agenda, and on Christmas Eve Aunt Elisabeth is Pørni's only guest.
S3.E4 ∙ The worst day of the year
Pørni tries to help a friend's family in trouble, and on New Year's Eve, she finds herself having to solve some challenges in a not so Gandhi-like fashion.
S3.E5 ∙ The kids are not alright
Sigrid's problems reach an absolute low point, and Pørni's attempt to help almost costs her a friend. Grethe is terminally ill, and Pørni pleads with Hanna to come home.
S3.E6 ∙ Happy birthday to me
It's Sigrid, Pørni, and Princess Ingrid Aleksandra's birthday and although the new year has started with an energetic attempt to socialize - it looks she will have to celebrate her birthday all by herself.
