Single mother Pørni is responsible for three children, her elderly father, and all the children she meets in her job at the child welfare service.

Pørni's family is suffering a terrible loss that affects them all. Ole Johan reveals a secret he has kept all his life. Leo refuses to talk to his father, after his mother's car accident, and Pørni makes a mistake in a child welfare case.
S1.E2 ∙ Can we not talk about children?
Finn shows up unannounced and Pørni takes courage and agrees to meet Bjørnar. Sigrid thinks that Pørni is pregnant, and Leo does not want Charlie to come to his confirmation.
S1.E3 ∙ Don't get a boyfriend, please!
Joakim, whom Pørni has known for a long time, will have new foster parents. Hanna believes that she has contracted ME since she is mentally exhausted after looking for a job. Pørni thinks she has lost Bjørnar and is going on a date with an intestinal surgeon.
S1.E4 ∙ Walk of shame and no glory
Pørni meets Bjørnar's ex and Nordbergkoret rehearses for the spring concert. Astrid gets stung to deal with life's buffet and Pørni gets to say what she thinks about the Nordic film success of all time.
S1.E5 ∙ Mother of the year.
Pørni has received an anonymous message of concern and is irritable and sad. Sigrid wants a new iPhone and Hanna has been fired. Charlie says that he thinks Leo should move to his grandparents in Western Norway.
S1.E6 ∙ You'll never walk alone
Leo is confirmed and Pørni gives the speech Anne was to give. The client Torunn goes further than sending threats and poop in the mail. Hanna and Sigrid must have an enlightening conversation about their father.
