Paul babysits a gang of mischievous Staffordshire Bull Terrier pups who need to learn some manners and a mystery mongrel who was reported stolen 13 years ago.
Paul meets some special dogs who need to go to unconventional homes, including a dog with star potential and a pointer cross who may have been shot at in the past.
Paul is asked to help bottle feed a pair of week-old kittens whose mother has abandoned them. He also meets a gang of dogs who must learn how to be dogs.

Paul falls in love with an Akita who doesn't seem to know he's an Akita. He also meets Hugo who's been down on his luck but could end up being adopted. Paul then meets a former racing greyhound ready for life in a domestic setting.

Paul returns once again to Battersea Dogs Home to help dogs with behavioural problems, including a reclusive mongrel and a grumpy Yorkshire terrier.
