After the test of their basic physical abilities, the contestants pair off and go head-to-head in the next round - with each bout's loser going home.
S1.E3 ∙ One You Wish to Avoid
The fight to stay in the competition continues. Contestants find ways of defying their own physical limitations in order to beat opponents.
S1.E4 ∙ The Underdogs
After the winners celebrate and bond over their shared enthusiasm, they're divided into groups for the next round. Who will form the strongest team?
S1.E5 ∙ The Uninvited Guests
Teams engage in a multi-step challenge to test strategy, synergy and strength. Those who survive the intense game are met with a surprise.
S1.E6 ∙ The Weight of Survival
The competition gets heated as the winners move on to the next round, where they'll be required to form alliances.
S1.E7 ∙ The Possibility of the Impossible
The third team takes on the 1500 kg ship, a close timed decision drops the weakest group of ten and decides the top 20. Next up a fourth challenge to eliminate 15 more, five creative mythological events. Competitors volunteer for their best event.
S1.E8 ∙ A Merciless Punishment
Five events eliminate 3 of 4; carrying or pushing heavy rocks, running, climbing . Left with an assortment of body types from super heavy bulk to lean. Stamina is the focus as each event continues until three fail to keep up. Early favourite Sung Bin faces a cliffhanging result, to be continued.

Punishment of Sisyphus gets a winner. A couple of the notable stars fail to progress. Final Five enjoy a penultimate feast. Ice climber, cyclist, luge, snowboarder/cross-fit and weightlifter. Five way tug of war. Board flipping. Shuttle run. Endless rope pull. Winner takes home $300,000.
