Twenty something Josh is going through a number of big changes as he navigates his first decade of adulthood. After being dumped by his girlfriend, he comes to the realization that he is gay.

Josh attempts babysitting his new sister and charming his new housemate. As his house fills with semi-clothed twentysomethings and drunk, wary parents, Mum arrives with a sobering surprise.

Mum is admitted into a private hospital, and struggles to accept her fate. Patrick has a party. Mum leaves the hospital and goes to find Josh. When Josh takes her back he meets her fellow patients, Hannah and Ginger.

Josh is in a tizz as he prepares for a surprise date with Geoffrey; Arnold checks into mum's hospital; dad and Mae panic over Grace's poo, and Tom finds himself in a bizarre love triangle.

Niamh finds out about Jenny, Hannah joins a choir, Mum gets some shattering news, and Josh has a disastrous date, before an accident brings a car trip with Patrick to an unexpected end.

Claire is staying with Tom, Josh and Patrick. Josh asks Dad for money to pay the plumber and gets lectured about getting a job. Mum and Ginger have a fight. The housemates go to see Jenny in a school production.
S2.E6 ∙ Lapin a La Cocotte
Patrick dumps Josh. Josh, to distract himself, takes Mum and her friends to the zoo. Tom and Jenny have a weird rabbit funeral and break up, again. At the zoo, Arnold kisses Josh. Dad tells Josh he's cutting him off financially.
S2.E7 ∙ Scroggin
Worried about leaving his Mum alone following the death of her friend, Josh takes her on a camping trip.
S2.E8 ∙ Truffled Mac and Cheese
Patrick moves out. Tom eats all of Josh's special mac and cheese, so Josh traps Tom in his room all day. Arnold tells Josh that he would like to date. Claire and Tom have a heart-to-heart. Claire announces that she's going back to Germany.
S2.E9 ∙ Skinny Latte
Arnold brings his psychiatrist to the cart to visit. Josh and Arnold take Tom along on their date.
S2.E10 ∙ Margherita
Josh and Arnold go out dancing and bump into a very out-of-it Patrick. They walk him home but he messes everything up. Arnold has an anxiety attack. Tom orders a prostitute but hides inside when she arrives. Dad proposes to Mae.
