The week's surprise celebrity guest judge, Sarah Jessica Parker, challenges the contestants to create a look for her clothing line Bitten. Designers pair up in teams, and Parker ends up choosing Victorya's design for her collection. Marion, paired up with Steven, is out.
S4.E3 ∙ Fashion Giant
The designers are asked to create a menswear look for ex-Giant football player Tiki Barber, which proves to be a difficult task since most of them are skilled in women's fashion and don't make clothes for men. The exception is Jack, who calls upon his expertise in men's tailoring to win the challenge. Carmen, who ran out of time and sent her model down the runway without a shirt, is auf'd.
S4.E4 ∙ Trendsetter
The designers are challenged to create a fashionable, current look based on out-of-date trends. In addition, they had to team up in trios and ensure each disparate look came together in one cohesive collection. Jillian teamed up with Rami and Kevin, and won the challenge. Chris chose the wrong fabric, color and over-emphasized his outfit's shoulder pads, and was eliminated. Donna Karan served as the guest judge.
S4.E5 ∙ What's the Skinny?
The designers had to create a new look for everyday women, each of whom had lost a significant amount of weight, out of their old clothes that no longer fit. Jack left the show voluntarily after he developed a MRSA on his face, and the previous episode's auf'ee, Chris, returned to take his place. Christian won the challenge and Steven was eliminated. Patrick Robinson, head designer for The Gap, was the guest judge.
S4.E6 ∙ Eye Candy
The designers must create an outfit out of items from the Hershey's store in Times Square.
S4.E7 ∙ What a Girl Wants
Designers are ordered to create prom dresses for a group of girls from a local Catholic school.
S4.E8 ∙ En Garde!
The contestants were challenged to create avant garde designs inspired by the hairstyles on their models, and worked in teams of two: Chris and Christian; Kit and Ricky; Victorya and Jillian; and Rami and Sweet P. Christian was the winner, and Kit got the boot.

The season four cast reunites to share memories, and Michael Knight appears in a cameo to present a $10,000 check to the contestant who won the Fan Favorite vote, Christian.
S4.E13 ∙ Finale: Part 1
Tim Gunn visits the final four designers at their homes, and grants us a biographic glimpse into their lives. Only Christian and Jillian had secure spots in the Bryant Park finale, so Rami and Chris had to duel for the remaining slot. Though Chris's use of human hair to trim his pieces was innovative and a touch off-putting, Rami's superior construction won out, and he won his place in the final three. Chris was out, but showed at Fashion Week anyway as a decoy, as did Sweet P.
S4.E14 ∙ Finale: Part 2
The final three show at Fashion Week in New York. After displaying their collections on the runway at Bryant Park, Jillian Lewis comes in third place, Rami Kashou is the runner up and Christian Siriano is named the winner of season four. Victoria Beckham is the finale's guest judge.
S5.E1 ∙ Let's Start from the Beginning
For the first challenge, designers return to a familiar stomping ground: Gristedes Mega Store.
S5.E2 ∙ Grass Is Always Greener
The designers are charged to create a cocktail dress for their model clients who, OMG, selected the fabric.
S5.E3 ∙ Bright Lights/Big City
Heidi announces that Tim is going to take everyone out for a night on the town. With curiosities rising, Tim finally enters the Atlas apartments dressed in a rain poncho and galoshes. The designers suit up and find themselves boarding a double decker bus. Tim explains, this challenge is to design a look of their choice for a night out on the town inspired by New York at night. The bus will be making four stops where the designers will photograph sources of inspiration. From destinations such as Greenwich Village and Times Square, the designers pull inspiration from the lights, movement, and city culture. The next morning with $100 and 30 minutes on the clock, the designers have their first opportunity to fabric shop at Mood and their first chance to really show who they are as designers. Once back at Parsons, they have until 1AM to complete their look.
S5.E4 ∙ Rings of Glory
Following a small tour through the city, the designers arrive at the Armory Track and Field Center where they meet US Olympian and five-time medal winner, Apolo Ohno. He reveals that the designers will have a chance to create a look for the US Olympic women's team for the opening ceremonies of the Summer Games. With 30 minutes to sketch while at the Armory's museum of Olympic history and its fashion and a budget of $150 to shop at Mood, designers begin their Olympic journey.
S5.E5 ∙ Welcome to the Jungle
Heidi explains that the designers will be creating a look for a high-powered and glamorous, professional woman. With big names such as Hilary Clinton and Joan Rivers racing through their minds, the designers meet Tim back at the workroom who introduces Brooke Shields. Their next challenge is to work in teams of two to design a look for Brooke's character, Wendy Healy, on the show Lipstick Jungle. After having 30 minutes to sketch, each designer has an opportunity to pitch their concepts to Brooke who will then select six to move forward with their designs.
S5.E6 ∙ Good Queen Fun
Back at the runway, Heidi introduces special guest Chris March-in drag to everyone's surprise. The next challenge is to design an outfit fit for a drag queen. They each have a particular persona and it's the designer's responsibility to portray that persona in the look that is created. With a great bunch of ladies to work with, the designers pair up and consult with their clients for 30 minutes. This is the designers' chance to feature something theatrical and truly have a good time going over the top, and it's all for a good cause: each design will be auctioned to benefit Broadway Cares Equity Fights AIDS. Following the consultation, the designers have a $200 budget to shop for as much sequenced, shiny, feathery fabrics they can find at Mood. Once back at Parsons, there is an explosion of color as the designers unpack their fabrics and begin working their magic.
S5.E7 ∙ Fashion That Drives You
Designers are challenged to create an outfit from Saturn car parts. They have just four minutes to riffle through mats, seat covers, seatbelts, headlights, visors, windshield wipers, and a myriad of nontraditional materials for parts that will best complement their design aesthetic. Back at Parsons, time becomes the greatest obstacle as they face a midnight deadline to come up with an idea, sketch it out, and then apply elbow grease to these heavy-duty materials.
S5.E8 ∙ Double O Fashion
The challenge is to create a look for Diane Von Furstenberg's fall collection, inspired by the movie "A Foreign Affair." The stakes are high to design a garment that will not only be part of the DVF fall collection but produced and sold exclusively for American Express card members. These looks must not only work into "A Foreign Affair" theme, but also express the characteristics of Dietrich - mercurial, androgynous, and seductress. The deadline is midnight to scramble for a concept, that is both movie-related and inspirational, and execute it.
S5.E9 ∙ What's Your Sign?
Avant-garde in fashion can suggest the innovation and application of new concepts and techniques. Such legendary designers as Viktor & Rolf, Yamamoto, Jean-Paul Gaultier, and Balenciega have challenged cherished norms with new materials and fresh ways of cutting fabric for decades. These remaining designers must break new ground in fashion-their challenge is to create an avant-garde look inspired by an astrological sign. To do so they will be paired with an eliminated designer. Design teams have two days for the challenge and thirty minutes to decide whose zodiac sign will be the inspiration. Tandems pick a muse and then breakdown what traits of the sign they want the garment to exude.
S5.E10 ∙ Transformation
Six recent college graduates stand ready to transition their lives into independent professionals-however, they need to look the part. Designers have thirty minutes to conference with mothers and daughters on the direction of their new look. However, the direction seems to be ambiguous as blood tandems clash in design aesthetic and style.
S5.E11 ∙ Rock n' Runway
Rock, country, hip-hop, punk, and pop-designers must wield looks that symbolize one of the five genres, and their models for this challenge are themselves. The budget is a hundred and fifty dollars and the deadline is one a.m. deadline to create an iconic look for the runway. Quickly, the designers who have a real perspective on their specific musical genre distinguish themselves from the clichés of their competition.
S5.E12 ∙ Nature Calls
The designers create evening gowns based on inspiration from New York's botanical garden.
S5.E13 ∙ Finale: Part I
Dissatisfied and unable to decide on which contestant is out, the finale four ail prepare collections for the finale. But one contestant will be eliminated as only three will go to Bryant Park. And there's one more surprise challenge.
S5.E14 ∙ Finale: Part II
The final runway and so much to do; editing, model selection, fitting, and maybe even create a new dress or two. What does Tim think? What do the judges think?

In the season premiere episode, the designers arrive on the runway of an airfield. In this unconventional challenge, skydivers begin to fall from the sky and the designers learn that they must use the colorful parachute materials.
S6.E8 ∙ A Fashionable New Beginning
The designers are asked to make something chic out of divorcée's wedding dresses.

Designers are asked to create a stage look for an award-winning musician.
S6.E10 ∙ Around the World in Two Days
The sun rises on another episode of 'Project Runway' and Gordana is thrilled to have made it this far. Over on the boys side, Nicolas makes an annoucement: "America, here I come!" The designers head to the runway. "Hallo!" Heidi squeaks. "You're getting closer and closer to Bryant Park." She then explains that the kids will head to Rodeo Drive to meet a "world renowned" designer who will introduce their next challenge. But who!? Tim introduces ... Michael Kors. Oh. ANYWAY, familiar face Michael describes the challenge: find inspiration from a location around the world. Carol, who won the last challenge, picks first. She choose Palm Beach. Nicolas draws Greece. Althea opts for St. Tropez. Gordana goes for New York. Cocky Irina picks Aspen. Christopher takes Santa Fe. Logan, the last man to choose, is stuck with Hollywood. Let the sketching begin!One shopping trip to Mood later, the guys and gals get to work. Logan is going for "bohemian, comfortable with tight, skinny jeans." Irina is going for a three-piece look with pants, sweater and fur vest. Ambitious! Nicolas, in the meantime, claims to be taking a risk in creating a tomboy-fantasy hybrid set in the Greek isles. Carol worries that she doesn't have enough fabric for her sunny-weather print dress. Irina notices that everyone is "cracking jokes every five minutes." Naturally, Ms. Cocky is disapproving. Christopher worries that the last few challenges have resulted in bottom finishes. He better step up. Tim enters to do some mentoring. He urges Gordana to start on her dress as soon as possible (good advice). "It just makes me nervous to leave you like this," he says. Us too. Althea wants her dress to look expensive, which Tim agrees is a "must." Christopher runs his flowing blue top with a belted, brown dress by Tim, who warns him that it "can't all be about the belt." Irina tells the camera that Christopher's dress looks like something an "Amish person would wear."Tim then moves to Carol, who wants to do a long, flowy dress that reminds the judges of the beach. Tim worries that the dress is cliché. Carol doesn't disagree. Tim seems to like Nicolas' Grecian creation and urges Irina to watch the faux fur. Nicolas tells the camera that Irina's creation is "borderline costume." Mee-oww! Tim leaves, the models enter and the designers do some quick fitting. Meanwhile, the clock continues to click. At this point, the designers begin to worry -- as they do every week at this time. "This is 'Little House on the Prairie,'" Christopher says of his outfit. So he cuts about 20 inches from the bottom of the dress. Problem solved!The next morning, Gordana makes bacon. Nicholas, in the meantime, is busy referring to himself in the third person. The designers then head back to the workroom, where everyone is "silently panicking," according to Carol. Tim sends in the models once again. Christopher is suddenly excited about his newer, shorter outfit. Gordana likes her dress, but worries the judges will not understand what she is trying to convey. Logan notices that Nicolas has gone off into his "own world" -- and it's nowhere near Greece, unfortunately. Interestingly, Nicolas agrees. "I definitely don't see Greece in it," he tells the camera. That could be a problem.Too late now, though. Time to hit the runway!Squeaky Heidi welcomes the recruits. "As you know in fashion, one day you're in and the next day you're out," she says -- shocking exactly no one Yes, Heidi then introduces the judges: Michael, Nina and actress/model/etc. Milla Jovovich. The show begins and -- you guessed it -- the designers LOVE their garments! To be fair, though, Nicolas and Carol wonder whether the judges will share in the love fest. Gordana also worries about the grey color choice of her New York dress. It's not flashy, after all. But wait -- we've already forgotten the fundamental rules! Luckily, Heidi is only too ready to help nurture our fragile little minds. "One of you will be named the winner and one of you will be out," Heidi recites as if someone pushed the "play" button on the back of her neck. Althea is immediately dismissed from the runway for having a qualifying score. Irina is first up. Milla thinks the look is "cool," while Michael calls it a "80s Aspen thing" -- and not in a bad way. Christopher's Santa Fe concoction gets low marks across the board. Heidi thinks the only interesting thing about the outfit is the super-hip belt. Carol's beach-ready dress is "beautiful," according to Nina. Michael is also complimentary.Nicolas' Greece-outfit, on the other hand, is ALL sorts of a hot mess. "I think you got 'Grease' the movie," Michael says. Nina wonders who in the world would spend money on the outfit. Gordana's grey dress with crystal trim is "quite beautiful," according to Heidi. Michael calls it "sexy, sophisticated" -- just like Park Avenue. Logan's Hollywood-inspired pants and coat -- inspired by Lohan or Mary Kate -- gets lukewarm reviews.One judges confab later, the designers come back out to face their fates.Carol is ... in.Irina is ... the winner! Not surprisingly, Irina isn't surprised. "It feels amazing knowing that I won three challenges," she tells the camera. Not that she's keeping score or anything.Gordana is ... in.Logan is ... in.That leaves Christopher and Nicolas. "One of you will be out," Heidi helpfully explains. "Nicolas, you sadly missed the mark ... Christopher, you are in the bottom two yet again. Where was the fantasy and inspiration?"Christopher is ... in! And that means Nicolas is OUT. He says his goodbyes to the judges, which makes Milla cry. Nicolas heads back to the workroom to clean up his stuff. "Because of my over-the-top style, it has been very hard for me to break into the fashion industry," he tells the camera. Adios, Nic.
S6.E11 ∙ Best of the Best
Welcome back to the "Runway," where anything can happen as long as it has to do with designing. We open in the boys' room, where Logan observes that only six remain. He tells the camera that it's time for everyone to "step outside their comfort zone." On the girls side, Irina laments that the fashion world is dominated by the men. Althea tells the camera that she thinks the strongest designers are herself, Carol and Irina (not so much Gordana).Cut the runway, where the contestants are forced to sit facing AWAY from Heidi. When they are finally allowed to turn around, they see a line up of the best outfits from each -- many of them challenge winners. "Allo!" Heidi squeaks. "Your challenge is to create a companion piece that compliments and enhances your best look." Irina takes the opportunity to point out that, based on their best designs, there are a "few people" who should be back at home by now.The sketching begins. Althea imagines her shorts pants and jacket combo as a long pants and giant jacket combo. Irina wants to make her Aspen look similar, but "completely different." "That's how you build a collection," she oh-so-helpfully points out. Christopher thinks his strength is gowns and hopes to put a different spin on his puffy, short dress from a few weeks ago. Gordana just seems confused.One shopping trip to Mood later, Logan sits down and begins working with the 40 zippers he purchased. Christopher, meanwhile, has 30 yards of fabric. "I'm going to go big," Christopher says. "I'm going to go huge." Althea stands at various points in the workroom, staring at her mocked-up outfit. Logan points out that they look like "Malvin pants," which Althea does sit well with Althea. "So sensitive," Logan whispers.We then take a break to delve into Gordana's past in Bosnia. Her parents were uneducated and poor. A black-and-white photo of little Gordana is cute. "To be where I am today is just something that is unbelievable," she tells the camera. Back to the present, the contestants deride Christopher behind his back for his 30-yards o' fun. Tim then enters to do some mentoring. He thinks Irina's tapestry-like creation with a cardigan is "completely unexpected" -- in a good way. Christopher's spin on his formerly youthful gown, on the other hand, looks like "mother" -- and NOT in a good way. And Logan's multi-zipper look? "This is definitely in the 'wow' category," Tim says.Ah, but there's a problem. Althea tells the camera that Logan's heavy zipper collar is clearly stolen from her look in the Christina Aguilera challenge. She huddles with Irina (natch) and expresses her concern. "I hate Logan," Althea whispers while stuffing her face with food. "I'm really bitter right now." Irina sympathizes (natch). The models enter and Althea STILL can't let it go. "He thinks because he's cute that he can do whatever he wants," Althea tells her model. "I'm really annoyed." So are we.The next morning, Christopher notes that he has about 100 petals to put on his creation -- the same one that Irina said looked like a dress "throwing up" another dress. Althea, meanwhile, is running out of time to hand sew her pants. Irina doesn't care, though. She won't lend out even the smallest of needles because that would be aiding the enemy. "When I want something, I usually get it," Irina tells the camera. "It's all worth it for me in the end if you reach your goal." Logan wishes Irina would be "humbled" by the judges -- just once!Tim enters, does some blatant product placement and then sends in the models. Althea notices that Carol is creating a dress -- again. "I'm really surprised the judges haven't labeled here a one-trick pony," Althea tells the camera. Logan also gets in on the denigrating. "My grandma has better taste that that," he says of Gordana. Irina then points out that Althea, while complaining bitterly about Logan, has actually stolen her look ... from Irina. Yes, folks, the competition is getting intense. Or at least catty.Runway time! "Allo!" Heidi squeaks. "As you know in fashion, one day you're in and the next day, you're out." She then introduces the judges: Nick Verreos (a season-two contestant), Nina Garcia and Kerry Washington. The show begins. Carol's dress is a poofier version of her previous sleek design. Althea thinks her look is "fashion forward." Logan hopes his zipper explosion "surprises" the judges. Gordana is very confident in her long jacket. Christopher thinks he "pushed it" (in a good way) with his big, huge dress of 100 petals.The show ends and the judging starts. Nina thinks Christophers dress looks like a "carnival float." Kerry thinks it looks like two different gowns. Irina is next. "Very uptown chic," Nick comments. Nina is the lone dissenting voice, saying the tight dress underneath the flowing sweater looks "cheap." Gordana's jacket-coat creation, on the hand, gets savaged by ALL the judges. "It looks like an office worker in Warsaw," Nick says. Carol's dress goes over wonderfully (Ava Gardner gets name dropped). Logan's zipper thingy is too "Judy Jetson" for Nick. Nina completely dismisses it. Althea's pants get high marks, but Heidi notices that that the sweater looks similar to one created by Irina. Althea backtracks -- and Irina goes in for the kill. "How do you not realize it when there are six people in a room?" Irina asks the judges. Still, the judges don't seem to mind. They love the outfit regardless of its "inspiration."One judges' confab later, the contestants line up for the final decision. "I'm not really exactly sure what Irina was accusing me of copying," Althea tells the camera. She is sure, however, that Irina has some character issues.Irina is ... in.Christopher is ... in.That leaves Logan and Gordana. Heidi calls the former's look "too tricked out" and the latter's "sad, drab and dated."Gordana is ... IN.And Logan is OUT. "I'm surprised that I'm going home for taking a risk," he tells the camera. "I'm definitely not a designer that's for middle America."The cute guy has left the building.
S6.E12 ∙ The Art of Fashion
Welcome back to "Project Runway." Five contestants remain: Althea, Carol, Christopher, Gordana and Irina. Althea tells the camera that Irina accused her of "copying." Naturally, they're not speaking. "I'm very competitive and I'm very outspoken," Irina says. Christopher, in the meantime, is the only one left in the boys' room -- a situation he finds "odd." But no more time for introspection now -- time to head to see Heidi!"Allo!" Heidi squeaks. "For your last challenge here, we're sending you to an iconic place that's rich in culture." So the designers head to the J. Paul Getty Museum. Tim greets the final five at the "heart of Los Angeles culture." "Use the Getty center as the source of inspiration for the design of your choice," he says. The designers can explore the gardens, the architecture or the museum's many exhibits. "Everything you look at is just unbelievable," cutie Carol tells the camera. The designers then start roaming the grounds and sketching. Carol is inspired by an ornate bed. Christopher adores a fountain with algae. Irina and Gordana fall in love with paintings. Althea is struck by the building itself.One shopping trip to Mood later, the five return to the work room. "This is the challenge that will determine who among you will be going to New York fashion week," Tim says. No pressure! Some of the contestants are already sniping at each other. "The atmosphere in the work room is kind of awkward for me," says Althea, who feels like the odd woman out. Irina compares Althea to "King Kong." King Kong is from Dayton? Tim then enters to do some mentoring. He checks out Christopher's angular outfit that is supposedly inspired by the rock fountain. "You don't want it to be a head-scratching response," says Tim, urging the designer to keep a close "editing eye" on the creation. Carol's design, meanwhile, is going for a "very ornate texture." Tim warns her to not "lose the sophistication." Next up is Irina, whose fur-lined dress looks a lot like "road kill," according to Tim. Ouch. Althea's architecture-inspired look, in the meantime, is perplexing to Tim. "I find it to be troublesome," he says. "This needs work." Finally, Gordana becomes emotional over her painting-inspired outfit. "I wanted to create something I'm in love with," she says. Tim is impressed.One quick model fitting later, the designers REALLY get to work (as evidenced by the quick editing and suddenly frantic music). "This one has to be amazing," Christopher tells the camera. Carol, meanwhile, is really "nervous." "You can not predict how the judges are going to react," she says. Althea is feeling "overwhelmed." The next morning, the models return for final fittings, hair styling and accessorizing. The contestants then bad mouth each other for a bit before it's time to head back to the runway. "Allo!" Heidi squeaks. "As you know in fashion, one day you're in and the next day you're out." She then introduces the judges: Cynthia Rowley, Nina Garcia and Cindy Crawford. "Three of you will make it to New York Fashion Week and two of you will be out," Heidi says. The runway show begins! Not surprisingly, the contestants are THRILLED with their creations. Gordana, in particular, is overjoyed to have created a look on a "spiritual level."Judgment time. First up on the chopping block is Althea, who explains she was inspired by the parallel lines of the Getty museum. Cynthia appreciates the inspiration, but thinks the dress is overworked while the top appears rushed. "It's a bit of a mess fest," Heidi observes. "I feel like you bit off so much more than you could chew." Irina's draped dress is called "old lady" by Nina. Cindy, in the meantime, hates the shoes. Next is Gordana, who nearly begins crying in describing her "angelic" creation. Nina likes the dress, but wonders whether Gordana will ever take a "chance." Carol's elegant gold dress with a shoulder tassel also gets accused of being "safe" by Nina, who has apparently found her go-to critique. Finally, Christopher's dress with a hint of green (the algae) is a bit heavy on the bottom, according to Cindy and Cynthia. "This piece speaks more about me than any other piece I've put down the runway," Christopher says through tears. He gets a sympathetic hug from his model.Each contestant is then asked which other two designers should head to Fashion Week with them. Gordana chooses Christopher and Irina. Althea chooses Carol and Irina. Carol opts for Christopher and Althea. Irina picks Althea and Gordana. Christopher names Irina and Carol. "I think all of you have given us a lot to think about today," Heidi says. One judges confab later, she brings the designers back out.Irina is ... in.Christopher is ... out. He weeps, (are you shocked?)Carol is ... in.Althea is ... in, which means Gordana is out. "I have put myself out there," she says. "If it is time for me to go, then so be it." She weeps.
S6.E13 ∙ Finale Part 1
Welcome back to "Project Runway." Three contestants remain: Althea, Carol and Irina. All are super-psyched to be heading to Fashion Week. "Allo!" Heidi squeaks. "You have to create a 12-piece collection to show at Bryant Park." Tim enters. "Designers, I'm more proud of you than I can adequately express," he says. Actually, we think he expressed it quite well. Back at the dorm, the ladies pack up and get under each other skin. Althea is still sore that Irina accused her of cheating a few weeks back. "I think Carol Hannah and Althea are intimidated," Irina tells the camera. "They know I've done well."Ten weeks later, Tim heads to Huntington, New York to the home of Carol. She explains that her look is inspired by a late-night tour of Duke University of all places. "It had this kind of whimsical, almost fairly tale feel to it," Carol explains. Her line of outfits reflect that for the most part. Tim doesnt like a certain ice skater look, or a cape which looks matronly. Carol, who specializes in dresses and evening wear, has also designed pants. "I think you've done a lot of pushing," Tim says. Carol then introduces Tim to her family, who has flown in from South Carolina and is preparing a Southern meal. A few biscuits later, Tim takes his leave. "Work hard!" he says.Cut to Manhattan, where Irina is hard at work on her collection. "His opinion means a lot to me," she tells the camera. We meet Irina's annoying dog, Princess, and then see the looks inspired by Coney Island. "It's kind of like my thank you to New York for being so good to me," she explains. Tim doesn't like the fur elements, but respects everything else. "This is what I love about the fact that you're a risk taker: it could go either way," Tim says. "And I don't think you want to play it safe." He is VERY impressed with the hand knitting. Overall, its good, but not great reaction from Tim, who then joins Irina and her family for lunch at a fancy restaurant. Irina, meanwhile, tells the camera that she just wants daddy to believe in her dreams. "That would be the greatest feeling to get that approval from my father," she says.Finally, Tim heads to Dayton, Ohio -- "not the fashion capital of the world," according to hometown gal Althea. She explains that inspiration for her line came from women in various science-fiction movies. Tim loves some of the pieces, but others look far too "costumey." "You have a lot of thinking to do," Tim says. "Edit, edit, edit!" The pair then head to Althea's parents home, which Tim deems "adorable." A few drinks later, the visit ends with Tim reminding Althea to "work hard." Thanks, Tim.We then head back to Manhattan, where Irina gets a phone call from Tim. "We have an issue," he says. We do indeed. Turns out the images of Coney Island that Irina was going to use on t-shirts in her line are proprietary. In other words, she has to come up with new designs -- and the clock is ticking. "This is seriously the worst thing that can happen right now," Irina tells the camera. Poor, poor, Irina. We hope she can pull through.Time to head to Bryant Park. "I don't trust Irina any farther than I can throw her," Althea tells the camera. And with Althea's bad back, she shouldn't be throwing anyone. But where's Carol? "Poor thing is sick," Tim says. "She has a terrible stomach virus ... i'ts contagious." So Carol won't be coming that night. btut designing doesn't wait. The next morning, Irina and Althea head to the workspace to continue work on their lines. Suddenly, there is a knock on the door -- and Carol enters! She is still sick and stays far from the other contestants. "Don't get too close," she warns. Tim enters for another tour of the collections. It's time to edit, edit, edit. A sparkling top from Althea, for example, gets tossed out after being deemed "matronly." Carol is encouraged to maintain cohesion within her line. Certain pieces, while well constructed, simply do not fit in with everything else. Finally, Irina's creations get the once over from Tim, who observes that almost the entire line is black, black, black. Irina also appears to have the most work remaining of the three contestants. She's going to be cutting it close.The next step is choosing models, which is accomplished via a quick montage. Then, the finalists receive a surprise visit from Michael Kors and Nina Garcia, who offer advice on building the collections. "The most important thing that al you have in addition to talent and brains is guts," Michael says. Awwwww! The next morning, Carol is still sick and Irina is still plenty nervous when another surprise guest arrives: it's Heidi! "You have one more look to create," she says. A 13th look? None of the designers look at all pleased (or amused for that matter). To help them, Heidi then reintroduces Christopher, Gordana and cutie Logan. Althea chooses Logan. Irina picks Gordana. Carol gets Christopher. One sketching session and trip to Mood later, the newly formed teams get down to work. Alas, Carol begins to get sick all over again. Back at the hotel room, she curls up on the bathroom floor and moans. It doesn't look good for our cutie heroine.Stay tuned ...
S6.E14 ∙ Finale Part 2
With two days to go until the runway show, Irina and Althea are nervous. Carol, meanwhile, is still extremely ill. "It's really overwhelming," she tells the camera. "If I continue to feel like this, it's not going to be a good day." Back at the workspace, the three meet up with the former contestants who have been brought back to help. The work begins as soon as cutie Logan is done giving cutie Carol a hug.But while Irina and Althea work, Carol begins to weep. "There's so much to do," she cries. "This isn't how it's supposed to go." This time, Christopher is there to comfort his temporary teammate. The contestants then head off to hair and makeup for some major product placement, before a fitting with their models. Althea is especially worried about the fit of her creations, which hug her models like Logan hugs Carol.Tim enters to access the damage, or lack thereof. "Frankly, I think it's beautiful," he says of Irina's 13th outfit, a sleek, black dress. Althea, in the meantime, shows off her last look, which features exaggerated jacket shoulders and pants. She then explains her "messy" makeup plan for the models. "That sounds like what Irina was telling me," Tim comments. Uh oh. Irina, of course, already suspects Althea of ripping her off. "That's Althea!" Irina snaps. MEE-OW! Next is Carol, who explains that she is feeling "OKish." Tim urges Carol to take advantage of Christopher's extra hands.The next morning, the sewing and clipping kicks into overdrive as the contestants literally run from outfit to outfit. Luckily, Carol feels much better. Tim enters for a "last little gather around." After he offers a few words of encouragement, Irina starts barking orders. "I'm nervous," she says. "I don't want any last-minute surprises." Says Carol: "If you forget one thing, it can be disastrous." The work ends and the ladies head to bed for a few hours. The alarm clock goes off at 3 a.m. Time to get back to work. "Today is basically what this whole thing is about," Irina tells the camera.The three walk into the big tent at Bryant Park. Soon enough, the models enter. Hair! Makeup! Crowds! Judges! Celebrities! But it's all progressing too slow for a certain mentor. "Designers, I am about to lose it!" Tim yells. "We should be lining up right now!" We've never seen Tim so emotional -- and neither have the contestants. FINALLY, all the models are dressed. And who walks out onto the runway? It's Heidi! "Allo, everybody!" she squeaks. "Today is our season six fee-nal-ee." She then introduces the judges, Michael, Nina and Suzy Menkes. Let the show begin!Althea is up first. "I honestly feel like I'm about to show you a piece of my soul," she tells the crowd. "I was inspired by sci-fi movies from the 50s and 60s and how they saw the future." The lights dim and the cat-walking starts! And guess what? Althea loves her stuff! "I'm 100 percent happy with it," she says. "I would wear every single piece." But would the judges? Lots of leather and high boots later, the crowd shows its appreciation.Next up is Carol. "This collection is very near and dear to my heart," she says. "So enjoy." The models strut and Carol is moved by her own creativity. "It feels amazing to send all this work out," she says. "Every thing looks exactly how I want it to." Lots of flowing fabric and ruffles later, the crowd applauds wildly. Cutie Carol takes a bow.Finally, here comes the Irina. "My collection is really about New York," she says. "It's really about what it takes to survive in this city as a woman." The designer is pleased. "It's always feminine and sexy, but this time around it's a lot tougher," she says. Indeed, some of the women dressed in all black and wearing couture party hats look downright badass. The crowd goes nuts! It's going to be another close one, folks.Time for the judges' comments. The designers emerge from backstage to face the proverbial music. First up is Irina. "Quite honestly, we've seen a lot of the warrior woman," Michael says. "She's not a new character on the scene." Suzy and Heidi don't have a bad word to say. Nina especially liked the hand-designed t-shirts, but wonders why Irina used so much black. "Imagine the effect when you shoot it for a magazine," she says. "We talked about this." Not enough, apparently.Second is Carol, who gets high marks from Nina on her draping. Heidi absolutely LOVES the Grecian goddess dress. That said, she had a hard time seeing it as a 13-piece collection. Michael agrees. The "cohesion" isn't as strong as it might have been. Finally, Althea steps forward. "I have to say bravo for seeing sports wear," Michael says. Nina loves the dashes of color in a knit-green dress. Heidi loves the skirt/shiny top look. Suzy appreciates all the knitting, but wonders how it fits in with the futuristic theme.One judges' confab later, the designers reemerge. "One of you will be the winner of 'Project Runway,'" Heidi explains.Carol is ... OUT!So it all comes down to Irina vs. Althea. How appropriate. "Congratulations, Irina," Heidi says. "You are the winner!" Irina begins to weep. Tim enters! Irina's family enters! Many congrats are thrown out. Even Irina's father cries. "I think he is finally going to take me seriously about this whole fashion adventure that I'm on," Irina tells the camera.Until next season, planet Earth.

Sixteen new designers try to make their way to Bryant Park to show their collections in New York Fashion Week.
S7.E2 ∙ The Fashion Farm
The designers show up at a farm and are informed they need to create a party look using a burlap sack. This time the model chooses the designer she wants to work with, and the models are the customers for this challenge.
S7.E3 ∙ The Hi's and Low's of Fashion
The ladies gather around the sink to get ready while the boys make coffee and discuss the last challenge. "I think Ping should have gone home," Jesse tells the camera. "I can't believe she's still here." The contestants then visit the Metropolitan Museum of Art, where Tim stands among a fashion-themed exhibit waits. "With this challenge, you'll be working in teams of two to create high-end signature look -- a look, frankly, that could fit in with this company," he explains. But there's more! The teams will get $500 -- a 'Project Runway' record -- and two days to complete their creations. Many cheers.Jay, the winner of the last challenge, is automatically a "team leader." Other leaders include: Jesus, Anthony, Janeane, Mila, Ping and Emilio. Jay then chooses Maya as his partner. Jesus picks Amy. Anthony opts for Seth, who asks: "Where's my brown sugar?" Janeane chooses Ben. Mila picks Jonathan. Ping takes Jesse. "I don't know how the hell this is going to work," Jesse tells the camera. Finally, Emilio is left with Anna. The group returns to Parsons, where Ping begins to talk very, very fast. Other duos discuss their ideas. "Mila has no problems making decisions," deadpans Jonathan, who must accept what his "leader" ultimately decides. Anna, meanwhile, worries that Emilio might be too established and too bold to be her partner. The drawing and sewing then begins!And the squabbling, too. Ping and Jesse, in particular, aren't getting along. "I feel like I'm trying to reign in the crazy," Jesse tells the camera. Seth and Anthony are working with bright yellow and red material. "At this point, I think that we're designing a gown for the vice president of McDonald's," Anthony jokes. Tim enters with news: "You will be creating an additional look ... for the second part of this challenge, you will be creating a 'look for less.'" The contestants have $50 to make a second outfit, which also must be a derivation of a look made by another team. Huge groans. More frantic sketching begins before a second trip to Mood is made. "Our time frame is horrifying," Jonathan tells Mila. Maya laments working with Jay, who has immunity and seems to be spending more time eating apples than actually working.The models enter for fittings. "I'm running the fittings now, as well as constructing everything," says Jonathan, whose solid relationship with Mila is fracturing a bit. Ping and Jesse continue to fight, prompting Emilio to compare them to Lucy and Ricky. Tim enters and worries that Jay and Maya won't be able to finish on time. "Keep it simple," the mentor says. He then looks over Jesse and Ping's two outfits -- the latter of which is made of fabric that looks like "wrapping paper." Ouch. "Work, work, work," Tim tells the room. And so they do. The next morning, the gang heads back to Parsons for more bickering and sewing. Emilio calls the Anthony-Seth creation good in concept, but "hideous" in execution. Ping feels that Jesse is more concerned with himself that the "team-work quality." Jonathan, meanwhile, is feeling overworked. He also knows that Mila would sell him out on the runway. Then again, he admits that he would sell her out, too. "This whole outfit was such a vision of mine," Mila tells the camera.A second visit from the models later, the designers go into overdrive in order to finish their creations. "It's not easy to make a grand dress in a day and a half," Maya tells the camera. "I did the best I could." But will it be enough? The judges will decide -- and soon. Heidi enters and repeats her "one day you're in, etc." line for the umpteenth time. She then introduces the judges: Michael, Nina and Brit designer Matthew Williamson. Let the show begin! Anthony loves his black-and-yellow gown, an example of "classic elegance and beauty." Mila feels "so confident" about her sleek and striped signature look. Janeane is similarly satisfied with her low-cut dress. Emilio wonders if his creation might have been more "innovative" if he had not been paired with inexperienced Anna. The "looks for less," meanwhile, are met with a tad less enthusiasm from their creators.Heidi then calls the following names: Janeane and Ben; Jesus and Amy, Emilio and Anna. "If I have called your name, congratulations -- your scores have qualified you to move on to the next round." The remainder represents the highest and lowest scores. Jay and Maya get high marks from Matthew for being "unique" and "dramatic." Michael thinks the $46 creation blows the $500 look "out of the water." Jonathan and Mila also do well with their expensive look. "The coat looks fabulous," Michael says. Ping and Jesse get ripped apart by Nina, who calls the pair's creation "just a bunch of fabric wrapped around a model." The secondary look fares even less well. "It's just an ill-fitting blah dress," Michael observes. Jesse defends himself by saying that he had to "teach sewing lessons" while he was trying to finish two dresses. The model also throws Ping under the bus, saying the designer never actually bothered to fit her in the cheaper outfit. The judges then turn their negative attentions to Anthony and Seth. "This is so costumey," Michael says. "It's 'Gone With the Wind.'" The second, cheaper look also gets dinged -- hard. "They're both really ugly," Nina says. Anthony and Seth appear chastened.One judges' confab later, the designers return to the runway for the results. "One of you will be named the winner and one or more of you will be out," Heidi explains. Jonathan is in. Mila is the winner! "It feels amazing," Mila tells the camera. Maya is in. Jay is also in. That leaves Anthony-Seth and Ping-Jesse. After insulting all four one more time for good measure, Heidi announces that Seth and Jesse are in -- barely. Anthony is also in. So it's goodbye Ping, who immediately begins to cry. "I came here to learn and to see what I can do and I truly feel that I did amazing job," she says through tears. "The journey continues ... I'm proud of myself." For the first time this episode, Jesse has nothing to say.

After a shocking elimination, the designers realize they need to step it up to impress the judges. For the challenge, they do some "sole-searching" in the Marie Claire shoe closet and create a look based solely on the shoe they picked.

The remaining designers display their athleticism as they compete in field day events for extra work time. For the challenge, designers must create high-end performance-wear for Heidi Klum's New Balance line with the winning design sold at select stores.

The designers get a taste of luxury when they have to choose a piece of Chopard jewelery to base their looks around. The future of fashion is upon us. The button bag is back, with a stylish new makeover, as the designers are divided into teams for the first time. This week's challenge tasks the designers to create a mini-collection that shows a sneak peek into the future of fashion. The designers are shocked to find out their models will be completely transformed with special effects body modifications, inspired by Simon Huck's 'A. Human' exhibit. The designers must highlight their modification with their collections, as they fight to impress the judges with their innovative take on what's next in fashion.
S17.E3 ∙ All the Rage
The designers are tasked with creating bold head-to-toe looks using a single print; celebrity stylist Marni Senofonte surprises the designers by lending her expertise in this go-big or go-home challenge.
S17.E4 ∙ Survive in Style
The designers are whisked away from their urban creature comforts for a camping trip and challenged to create "survival chic" looks while embracing the wilderness. Their work room, the accessories wall, and the runway itself have all been moved to the woods for this unconventional materials challenge like no other. Mother nature does not cooperate as the designers battle the elements in order to stay in the competition. Marni Senofonte is back to help and only the strong will survive.

The designers are asked to create their own take on the future of streetwear, and are given just one day to complete the challenge and impress a fashion legend.

The designers must create the look of a video game character that is both fashionable and functional.
S17.E7 ∙ Elegance Is the New Black
Brandon has made a career on sophisticated, elegant creations and now the final 10 will have to impress him with THEIR take on elegance! If the pressure wasn't high enough - the designers are faced with a flash sale challenge.
S17.E8 ∙ Blame It on Rio
The designers must work in teams of 3 to design a mini-collection for the actress Morena Baccarin , who is going on a vacation to Rio de Janeiro.
S17.E9 ∙ The Stitch Is Back
The designers are required to design a performance outfit inspired by the movie "Rocketman" which is a biography of the musician Elton John.
S17.E10 ∙ What Do You Care About?
The designers must choose a social cause they believe in and create an outfit as well as a printed T-shirt that portray that cause.
S17.E11 ∙ New York City of Dreams
The designers must design a dream dress for real New York working woman that all work in government service jobs.
S17.E12 ∙ The Art of Fashion
In the final challenge, the designers must design an art installation that include and outfit and a gallery room to go with it, the design must show what their collection could be if they want a spot at fashion week.
S17.E13 ∙ One Elle of a Day
The remaining designers arrive at a new work space to unpack their collections and learn their final challenge. Nina Garcia meets them at the Elle Magazine offices and the designers are sent spiraling when tasked with a surprise eleventh look. In the end, only three of them will move on to compete in the finale.
S17.E14 ∙ The Final Runway
Three designers have fought for the chance to show their collections to the world. Pressure reaches an all time high when they find out the guest judge is legendary designer Diane Von Furstenberg.
S18.E2 ∙ Cats of the Urban Jungle
The contestants are assigned to make street-wear inspired by animal prints.
S18.E3 ∙ Sleigh the Runway
The designers are awakened by a surprise visitor who may or may not have arrived by chimney. Tis the season for holiday parties and the designers will be challenged to show their sense of spirit in the perfect party dress. They quickly learn that this isn't a conventional holiday affair - it's the unconventional materials challenge. Channeling their own holiday memories, the designers have two days to transform a winter wonderland into a wearable wonder, and then it's up to the judges to decide who's been naughty or nice.
S18.E4 ∙ The Ultimate Upcycle
Mega-stylist to the stars, Karla Welch is here to guest-mentor the designers and she's got a job for them - dress her client: the one and only Karlie Kloss. Karla's got a twist though, the materials used to design the look will be donated clothing from a local Goodwill, making this Project Runway's first upcycling challenge. The designers will need to be resourceful, sustainable, and fast because it's also their first one day challenge. One designer's dreams will come true with the chance to dress a supermodel while another will be all out of second chances in this second-hand challenge.
S18.E5 ∙ She's Sew Unusual
The iconic Cyndi Lauper is both inspiration and guest judge for this totally tubular team challenge. Split into two teams, the designers must create cohesive mini-collections. They need to collaborate to pay homage to Cyndi's '80s fashion trailblazing that brought underground punk into the pop culture while still giving the looks a totally awesome modern take. Sounds pretty straight forward until Christian throws out a mid-challenge twist that changes everything.
S18.E6 ∙ There Is Only One You
In this week's challenge, the designers are given a chance to think about their family history and channel those stories and emotions into a look of their choosing. The stakes are high in this one day challenge, as the designers need to face and embrace who they are in order to succeed. Luckily for the designers, there's a surprise early on that will help boost their chances for success in this Flash Sale Challenge.
S18.E7 ∙ Project Runway X Ashley Longshore
Collaborations between fashion designers and artists are all the rage. In this challenge, the designers get a chance to enter into one with the fashion industry's latest art darling, Ashley Longshore. Ashley's outrageous pop art, turned into one of a kind prints, gives the runway some of the boldest looks of the season.
S18.E8 ∙ Sheer Genius
The designers realize that the challenges only get harder the longer they survive the competition when they're faced with the hardest yet: a one-day challenge using some of the toughest textiles: sexy, sheer fabrics. As the challenges get more challenging, the competition heats up and just staying in the game becomes more and more difficult for several designers who are reaching their personal limits and question their ability to make it to the end.
S18.E9 ∙ Suit Yourself
This week's challenge is all about turning a timeless classic on its head: The Tuxedo. Inspired by recent fashion moments like their mentor Christian Siriano's groundbreaking Oscar look for Billy Porter, the designers will each need to find their own way to take the tuxedo into the future with a mix of male, female, and non-binary models. A perfectly tailored suit is nearly impossible without help, so the designers get a surprise second set of hands to help out.
S18.E10 ∙ Live and Let Tie Dye
Tie dye is back in a big way and the designers will need to create their own textiles to elevate the trend from casual to couture. In a twist that may feel more like a trick to the designers, it's an overnight challenge. The designers go a bit mad working into the wee hours trying to perfect their techniques and complete their high end looks.
S18.E11 ∙ Olympic Game Plan
Designing for a client can be tough, especially when your client is a star athlete with high expectations. In this challenge, designers are paired up with a real athlete who will be competing to be in the 2020 Summer Olympic and Paralympic games. The designers need to make them their dream outfit for a victory night celebration, using all of their specialty skills to make the perfect proportions for their clients unique bodies, all while keeping their own point of view amongst a tough client challenge.
S18.E12 ∙ The Height of Avant Garde Fashion
With only one challenge left to make it to New York Fashion Week, the remaining designers must think big to create an avant-garde look that is anything but ordinary. In a fashion first, the runway begins with a season long retrospective, outside and 16 stories high, at New York City's dramatic, Vessel. The stakes are as high as the runway, because in fashion one day you're in, and in this challenge, two will be out.
S18.E13 ∙ Finale Part 1
Christian visits the remaining contestants at home as they furiously complete their final collections. Then it's back to workroom to refine and revise, because even though New York Fashion is here, that doesn't mean everyone will show in the finale.
S18.E14 ∙ Finale Part 2
The remaining designers rush to put the final touches on their collections, balancing advice from experts while trying to not lose their own point of view. It's game, set, match when Serena Williams joins as guest judge for the final runway, with only one designer chosen as the winner.
S19.E1 ∙ A Colorful Return
The season premiere begins at the iconic Lincoln Center where Christian Siriano, Nina Garcia, Elaine Welteroth, and Brandon Maxwell welcome a talented group of new designers eager to show the world their skills and creativity. In a Project Runway first, the designers will be split into two teams living and working separately to create mini-collections celebrating color. The competition comes to a head on the day of the runway show when they reunite hoping their team is victorious while someone from the losing team will be going home.
S19.E2 ∙ #STREETWEAR
In their first individual challenge, the designers take on streetwear - the most relevant and individualized style in fashion. Working with male, female, and nonbinary models, the competitors dig into their unique personal experiences and cultures to create breakout looks to catch the eye of their cool guest judge: social media fashion icon, Wisdom Kaye.
S19.E3 ∙ If You Got It, Haunt It
It's Halloween and Christian has a few tricks up his stylish sleeve. The designers are sent to sleep in a haunted mansion to find inspiration for their challenge. If they can survive the night, they'll have two days to create a hauntingly chic masquerade gown for a runway show with the one and only, award winning actress, Taraji P. Henson.
S19.E4 ∙ Flower Power
For their fourth challenge, the designers show up to discover their work room has been "flower flashed!" Inspired by the colorful blooms, the designers must create their own unique floral print from scratch and turn it into a high-end runway look. Guest judge International Supermodel Gigi Hadid will help the judges decide who rose to the occasion and who should be sent home.
S19.E5 ∙ Go for the Gold... Sequin
Figure skating icons Tara Lipinski and Johnny Weir steal the spotlight for this celebrity client challenge. This charismatic duo known for their savage takes and outlandish fashion have come to Project Runway for one reason - they need looks for the upcoming 2022 Winter Olympics. The designers will compete in pairs and the winning looks will be worn by Tara and Johnny in front of a global audience live in primetime from the Olympics.
S19.E6 ∙ Fashion Is Back, Baby!
For the first time ever, our designers will collaborate with some of New York City's most talented accessory designers who - like our designers - are all working to revitalize the fashion industry. Purses. Shoes. Gloves. Jewelry. Oh my. Taking inspiration from one another's work, each collaborating duo is challenged to create a coordinated one-of-a-kind look and new accessory.
S19.E7 ∙ Are You Fur Real?
It's the avant garde challenge. Working in pairs, the designers must create innovative avant garde looks highlighting one of the most trendy and complicated of materials, faux fur. Billy Porter, the icon of modern avant garde fashion, will be the guest judge.
S19.E8 ∙ Couch Couture
This week the designers are challenged to solve one of fashion's eternal struggles; can comfortable really be chic? But, there's nothing comfortable about designing for a one day challenge with a surprise workroom visit from season 19 winner Geoffrey Mac and pop legend Cyndi Lauper.
S19.E9 ∙ The Last Straw
The designers fall for an age-old prank when they're invited out for cocktails by Christian Siriano only to discover that it's actually challenge-time, not party-time. It's time for the unconventional challenge where the designers will be asked to create an elegant cocktail dress from an actual cocktail bar. Plus, one of fashion's most exciting designers, Christopher John Rogers, is the judge on the guest list for this VIP party.
S19.E10 ∙ The Housewives
Bravo's Real Housewives of Potomac, Orange County and New York City bring their signature attitudes to the catwalk for a client challenge like no other. Emotions run high as each designer is paired with a Housewife to make them the ultimate reunion show look. Pop culture icon and the man who turned the housewives into a phenomenon, Andy Cohen, will be the guest judge.
S19.E11 ∙ Haute Hair Collab
It's time for a twist--a hair twist, that is. In this one day challenge, the designers are each teamed with an up-and-coming hairstylist for a head-to-toe fashion collaboration. The pairs will work together to create an innovative design and hair look that compliment each other that showcases their creativity to the judges and guest judge, model Precious Lee.
S19.E12 ∙ The Model as Muse
For the first time ever in Project Runway history, the designers will be creating looks for the same Supermodel in this one-of-a-kind challenge. They must create editorial looks specifically inspired by internationally renowned model, Coco Rocha. And shockingly, there's no runway. The final five are tasked to show artistic range by delivering a perfect look and a perfect photograph to show it off.
S19.E13 ∙ The Sky Is the Limit
Four designers compete for only three spots in the Season 19 finale. For the last challenge, the designers will need to show the judges their brand and vision for the future of fashion in a single look. It's no small task as these finalists put everything they've got into this runway show to convince Brandon, Elaine, Nina and guest judge Karlie Kloss that they deserve the opportunity to make a collection for New York Fashion Week.

For their very first challenge of the competition, the designers have to rewrite history by reinventing the look that either got them eliminated or gave them the lowest score in their past and turn it into a high-fashion moment for the runways of today. In doing so, they must impress actor, author and activist Alicia Silverstone, who serves as the guest judge.
S20.E3 ∙ Toying with Fashion
It's neither fun nor games as the designers must tackle the most feared challenge in the Project Runway canon: the unconventional materials challenge. The fur begins to fly as the all-stars are tasked with creating whimsical runway looks using toys from New York City's most iconic toy store, FAO Schwarz. alice + olivia's Stacey Bendet joins as the judges assess who's out versus who came to play.
S20.E4 ∙ Coronation Day
It's the first dreaded team challenge of the season, and the designers are heading to the ball because it's Coronation Day. The designers are blindly paired together and tasked with creating couture modern gowns that exemplify royalty. Wes Gordon, the creative director of Carolina Herrera and a gown expert, serves as a guest judge and helps decide which partners took their gown over the top.
S20.E5 ∙ Seeing Red
In a Project Runway first, the designers are forced to share a single bolt of fabric to demonstrate how they can stand out from one another and prove why they're the top designer. Tensions run high, and the drama comes to a head after the challenge. Icon, actor, producer and Emmy Award-winning writer Lena Waithe joins the judges panel to help decide which designer will win $10,000 and who will be out.
S20.E6 ∙ Like Totally '90s
What goes around comes around. The style trends of the 1990s are flooding the runways in America and abroad. In this team challenge, the designers must create chic and cohesive mini collections inspired by the '90s. For the first time, designers will take to the halls of an iconic New York City high school to showcase their styles - all while trying to impress '90s icon and guest judge Jennie Garth. The pressure is on, and these teams will be totally buggin'.
S20.E7 ∙ Fashion, Inside Out
Breaking news: The jockstrap is back. The all-stars must create high-fashion looks featuring couture undergarments in this one-day challenge with everything: laughter, adrenaline, tears and a whole lot of skin. Fashion icons Sergio Hudson and Paulina Porizkova help separate the hot from the not.
S20.E8 ∙ Uncut Hems
It's the halfway point and the designers are hitting the road to a denim explosion. In a Project Runway throwback challenge, they'll create all-denim looks while competing in head-to-head battles where only one designer can be safe from elimination. Uncut Gems star Julia Fox - a model, actress and It girl of fashion - and designer Willy Chavarria guest judge and weigh in on the exuberant uses of denim.
S20.E9 ∙ Below Decked Out
Fan favorites from Bravo's Below Deck will be walking the runway in the infamous Real Client Challenge. The designers attempt to steer the ship toward winning waters while at the same time trying to keep up with the yachties' fashion requests... and livers. Real Housewife Luann de Lesseps and former Below Deck star Kate Chastain guest judge to help our panel decide who will sink or swim.
S20.E10 ∙ Freedom
Hold on to your seats, because Project Runway is about to make history. For the first time, our final seven designers are given the freedom to design whatever they want for this challenge. On the grand outdoor runway of Franklin D. Roosevelt Four Freedoms State Park, their daring "freedom looks" will be unveiled, rain or shine. It's a high-stakes test of creativity. Who will ride the winds of this newfound creative freedom to victory, and who will spiral into defeat?
