S1.E1 ∙ The End
On the mining ship Red Dwarf, slobbish slacker Dave Lister dreams of a life in Fiji away from his annoying bunkmate Arnold Rimmer. When he's placed in suspended animation, he wakes up 3 million years later to find the entire crew are dead.
S1.E2 ∙ Future Echoes
Holly navigates Red Dwarf during light speed. But when Red Dwarf goes through light speed 24-hours early, the crew witnesses strange events and they find they are witnessing "Future Echoes" images of events that will happen in the future.
S1.E3 ∙ Balance of Power
Lister wants to go on a date with the hologram of navigation officer Kristine Kochanski, much to Rimmer's disapproval. Lister decides to do a cooking exam so he can outrank Rimmer. But Rimmer has a cunning plan.
S1.E4 ∙ Waiting for God
Lister learns he is the mythical god of Cat's people known as "Cloister the stupid" and Red Dwarf stumbles upon a Red Dwarf garbage capsule and Rimmer thinks it's a stasis capsule carrying a dormant alien woman.
S1.E5 ∙ Confidence and Paranoia
Lister falls ill after entering a contaminated area of Red Dwarf trying to find Kochanski's hologram disc which Rimmer has hidden. But Red Dwarf has two unwelcome guests on-board, Lister's Confidence and Paranoia.
S1.E6 ∙ Me²
Rimmer moves into his new sleeping quarters with his holographic duplicate. Lister watches Rimmer's video containing footage of Rimmer's death, the two Rimmers start getting into a fight and Lister decides one of them has to be switched off.
S2.E1 ∙ Kryten
The Red Dwarf crew intercepts a SOS distress call from the American Space cruiser "Nova 5", that has crashed on a moon. They find the only survivor is Kryten, an android butler, whose favorite TV show is 'Androids'.
S2.E2 ∙ Better Than Life
A post pod carrying a 3 million year old bag of mail arrives and Rimmer becomes depressed when he learns his father is dead. The crew play an artificial game called "Better than life" which makes the players' wishes come true, but Rimmer's brain begins to rebel.
S2.E3 ∙ Thanks for the Memory
After a long night of drinking and partying to celebrate the anniversary of Rimmer's death, Rimmer laments that nobody loved him in life. Feeling sorry for Rimmer, Lister decides to implant memories of his ex-girlfriend in Rimmer's mind.
S2.E4 ∙ Stasis Leak
Rimmer, Lister and Cat find a time barrier called "Stasis Leak" on Floor 16 and it takes them back in time on Red Dwarf 3 million years earlier. Rimmer and Lister try to change the past, which puts either Rimmer or Kochanski into suspended animation so one of them doesn't die in the radioactive disaster.
S2.E5 ∙ Queeg
Red Dwarf's back-up computer Queeg 500 takes command of Red Dwarf when Holly allows a meteorite to damage the ship and Rimmer to malfunction. The crew encourages Holly to challenge Queeg to a game of chess, where the loser gets erased from the system.
S2.E6 ∙ Parallel Universe
Holly creates a new star drive called "Holly Hop Drive" that will warp Red Dwarf from one part of space to another within a matter of seconds. It all goes wrong when Red Dwarf enters an alternate dimension; The crew encounter female versions of themselves and Cat encounters another version of himself, a dog with a southern accent.
S3.E1 ∙ Backwards
As Rimmer is taking Kryten for a driving lesson in Starbug they find themselves being whisked away through a time hole and end up on Earth, where time is running backwards.
S3.E2 ∙ Marooned
The Red Dwarf crew abandons ship as Red Dwarf approaches black holes. Rimmer and Lister find themselves marooned on a ice planet, when Starbug is struck by a meteorite, where the only firewood is Rimmer's possessions and the only food they have is dog food and a pot noodle.
S3.E3 ∙ Polymorph
The Red Dwarf crew encounter the Polymorph, a genetically engineered space mutant that drains the emotions from humans, that has arrived on-board Red Dwarf.
S3.E4 ∙ Bodyswap
Red Dwarf becomes a booby-trap when Lister activates the self-destruct, which turns out to be the vending machine and Lister is implanted with the mind of one of the dead crew members and Rimmer believes it's the perfect way to help Lister get fit.
S3.E5 ∙ Timeslides
The developing fluid that Kryten uses to process old photographs mutates and the photographs come alive. The Red Dwarf crew find they can go into the photograph, and Lister finds that the photographs allows them to go back in time and he plans on changing history so that he doesn't end up marooned in deep space.
S3.E6 ∙ The Last Day
The crew receive a message from Kryten's manufacturer saying that he must be dismantled within 24 hours, at which time a more advanced mechanoid will arrive to replace him. Lister, Cat, Rimmer and Holly decided to throw Kryten a leaving party and give him one last night to remember.
S4.E1 ∙ Camille
Rimmer and Kryten rescue Camille, a female android from a passenger ship that has crash landed. Kryten falls in love with Camille, only to learn Camille is not who she appears to be, and finds she can shape-shift into Kochanski, a female Rimmer and the Cat.
S4.E2 ∙ D.N.A.
The Red Dwarf crew investigates a alien spaceship that is drifting in deep space. Where they discover a D.N.A modifier, a genetic altering machine that alters all organic life. But all havoc breaks loose, when Lister gets turned into a chicken, a hamster, Kryten becomes a human male and they create a curry monster from Lister's curry.
S4.E3 ∙ Justice
The Red Dwarf crew pick up an escape pod containing either prison guard Barbra Bellini or a dangerous Simulant convict. They transport the pod back to Justice World where Rimmer finds himself put on trial for past crimes long forgotten.
S4.E4 ∙ White Hole
After repairing Talkie Toaster, Kryten has the idea to restore Holly's 6,000 IQ at the cost of reducing her lifespan but she instead gains an IQ of 12,000. Meanwhile the Red Dwarf hurtles towards a white hole, the opposite of a black hole.
S4.E5 ∙ Dimension Jump
Rimmer catches the crew going on a fishing trip without him, forcing them to reluctantly bring him along. However, Starbug collides with the ship of Ace Rimmer, a more popular and successful version of Rimmer from an alternate universe.
S4.E6 ∙ Meltdown
When Kryten finds a matter paddle on the Red Dwarf, the crew decide to test it out and end up on Waxworld, an enormous waxdroid theme park where waxdroids modelled after history's most famous heroes and villains are at war with each other.
S5.E1 ∙ Holoship
Rimmer is abducted by the high IQ crew of the holoship Enlightenment, who have abandoned love in favour of daily sex. Wishing to join the crew and leave the Red Dwarf behind, Rimmer must engage in a battle of wits to earn his place.
S5.E2 ∙ The Inquisitor
The red dwarf crew encounter the inquisitor, a mechanical lifeform who has made himself judge, jury and executioner of all of humanity throughout history. If he decides your life hasn't been worthy enough you are erased and replaced. Bad luck for the dwarfers.
S5.E3 ∙ Terrorform
Lister, Kryten, Cat and Holly head for an artificial moon, where Rimmer has been kidnapped, only to find the artificial moon is Rimmer's mind.
S5.E4 ∙ Quarantine
At a research complex on an ice planet, the crew find the hologram of Dr. Lanstrom who has been infected with a holo virus that turned her mad. Back on the Red Dwarf the crew are subjected to quarantine by Rimmer who's also been infected.
S5.E5 ∙ Demons & Angels
An experiment with a machine that can make duplicates of an object goes wrong and Red Dwarf explodes. Where the Red Dwarf crew find the machine has made two copies of Red Dwarf, both ships contains their good and evil selves.
S5.E6 ∙ Back to Reality
When investigating an ocean ship, The Esperanto, the crew are attacked by a Despair Squid and awake to find they are entirely different people who have been playing the game "Red Dwarf" for the last four years. Is this truly their reality?
S6.E1 ∙ Psirens
Lister awakens on Starbug and learns that 200 years have passed and the Red Dwarf has gone missing. While navigating an asteroid field, the crew are tempted by Psirens, shape-shifting creatures that wish to suck out their brains.
S6.E2 ∙ Legion
As the crew contend with Starbug's dwindling supplies, they find themselves being pulled towards a deserted space station where they meet the brilliant but mysterious Legion. Legion wishes only to fulfill their every need, but to what end?
S6.E3 ∙ Gunmen of the Apocalypse
Starbug is attacked by a Simulant battleship and infected with a virus which overrides it's navicomp. Lister, Rimmer and Cat use the AR machine to enter Kryten's mind, which has taken the form of the Wild West, in order to fight the virus.
S6.E4 ∙ Emohawk: Polymorph II
When Starbug is targeted by a Space Corp enforcement probe, the crew crash land on a nearby moon, home to the friendly Kinitawowi tribe. The only problem? In exchange for a new O.G. Unit, the Chief demands that Lister marry his daughter.
S6.E5 ∙ Rimmerworld
Kryten diagnoses Rimmer with a stress-related condition, as a surviving Simulant attacks the crew. Fleeing in an escape pod, Rimmer enters a wormhole and must spend the next 600 years on a deserted planet with only his clones for company.
S6.E6 ∙ Out of Time
When Lister is revealed to be a Mechanoid and Cat disappears from existence, the crew realise that they are flying through reality-changing unreality bubbles. The only way they can escape this mess? With the help of their future selves.
S7.E1 ∙ Tikka to Ride
Following the encounter with their future selves, Kryten forbids the use of time travel but Lister wishes to go back in time to get some curry. However, the crew instead end up in Dallas, 1963 on the day John F. Kennedy is assassinated.
S7.E2 ∙ Stoke Me a Clipper
Daredevil pilot Ace Rimmer, seriously wounded, after rescuing Princess Bonjella from the Nazis, arrives on-board Starbug, to recruit Rimmer to take his place as the next Ace Rimmer. Will Rimmer continue the legacy of Ace Rimmer?
S7.E3 ∙ Ouroboros
Starbug flies into a Dimensional Tear and the crew meet themselves from an alternate reality where Lister is a hologram and Kochanski is alive. When a GELF ship opens fire on Starbug, alternate Kochanski becomes stranded with no way home.
S7.E4 ∙ Duct Soup
Kryten thinks Lister likes Konchanski better than him and is making a fuss about it. When the primary power goes off and they all get stuck in a room they have no choice but to climb into the ventilation ducts and try to escape. While inside the ducts they discover Lister is claustrophobic...
S7.E5 ∙ Blue
Lister, missing Rimmer, tries to recall the good times they had together, and fantasizes about Rimmer's return (which leads to Lister's hottest kiss yet). Meanwhile, Kryten's rivalry with Kochanski reaches new heights as the salad cream keeps winding up in the cupboard and pants are found in her socks drawer. The crew are taken on a ride called "The Rimmer Experience," which recounts many outrageously fictionalized events from Rimmer's life on Red Dwarf.
S7.E6 ∙ Beyond a Joke
Searching for a new head for Kryten (which exploded due to an incident involving ketchup and lobster), the crew encounter a rogue simulant on a deserted ship. The simulant kidnaps Kryten and commissions one of his own droids, Able, to fix him up. But Kryten and Able discover they're brothers, the same model, and Able helps Kryten escape. But not before Kryten discovers a disturbing secret about his creation...
S7.E7 ∙ Epideme
The crew come across an abandoned ship with one survivor: Caroline Carmen, one of Lister's former crushes. She revives in the middle of the night and infects Lister with the dreaded Epideme virus, which threatens to kill him unless something is done. He tries talking with Epideme directly through a communication link, but nothing doing. He ends up losing an arm to the virus before Kochanski comes up with another solution.
S7.E8 ∙ Nanarchy
As Lister falls into depression over the loss of his arm, Kryten has the idea to use Nanobots to grow him a new one, only Kryten's Nanobots are missing. Searching for the Nanobots, the crew find the Red Dwarf which has taken on a new form.
S8.E1 ∙ Back in the Red: Part 1
After crashing Starbug on the Red Dwarf, the crew are shocked to discover that the Nanobots have also revived the original crew, notably Captain Hollister who treats them as criminals. Lister is forced to turn to a revived Rimmer for help.
S8.E2 ∙ Back in the Red: Part 2
Rimmer uses the confidential reports provided by Holly to get into Captain Hollister's good graces but he soon forgets about his agreement of helping Lister. Meanwhile Lister, Cat, Kochanski and Kryten attempt a daring escape.
S8.E3 ∙ Back in the Red: Part 3
As the crew seemingly escape Red Dwarf on a Blue Midget, Rimmer attempts to hide evidence of his crimes but inadvertently reveals to the crew that they are in a simulation. Meanwhile Captain Hollister observes them all and passes judgment.
S8.E4 ∙ Cassandra
Lister volunteers himself, Rimmer and the rest of the crew for the Canaries, believing it to be the prison choir. They are instead sent on a suicide mission to an ocean moon where they find Cassandra, an AI computer who can see the future.
S8.E5 ∙ Krytie TV
Kryten struggles to come to terms with being classified as a woman and having to shower with the female prisoners. The male prisoners take advantage and reprogram Kryten into broadcasting Shower Night live, endangering Lister's appeal.
S8.E6 ∙ Pete: Part 1
Attempting to cheat their way out of punishment after playing a prank on Ackerman, Lister and Rimmer are sentenced to two months in The Hole. Meanwhile Kochanski, Cat and Kryten discover a device that can control time on a Canary mission.
S8.E7 ∙ Pete: Part 2
Kryten uses the time wand to resurrect Birdman's pet sparrow Pete but accidentally de-evolves him into a T. Rex that rampages through the ship. Lister and Rimmer are brought before Captain Hollister who orders them to change Pete back.
S8.E8 ∙ Only the Good...
An escape pod arrives on the Red Dwarf containing a Chameleonic Microbe which begins eating away at the ship. Left to die by the ship's crew who have escaped, Lister and his friends send Rimmer into a mirror dimension to find an antidote.
S9.E1 ∙ Back to Earth (Part One)
Lister's busy day of annoying Rimmer is interrupted by the discovery of something in the ship's mile-deep water tank.
S9.E2 ∙ Back to Earth (Part Two)
Rimmer's replacement, Katerina, is determined to guide Lister back to his home planet. But Earth in 2009 is not everything the boys had expected, and Rimmer has no intention of being replaced.
S9.E3 ∙ Back to Earth (Part Three)
When Lister's busy day of annoying Rimmer was interrupted by the discovery of a dimension-hopping leviathan in the ship's mile-deep water tank, transporting the crew back to Earth, all Lister's dreams appear to be coming true.

Rimmer attempts to masquerade as a heroic Space Corps captain after receiving a sudden SOS distress call from the hologram of his successful brother, Howard.
S10.E2 ∙ Fathers & Suns
Lister attempts to become a better father to himself by giving himself some tough love. Meanwhile, Rimmer and Kryten decide to install a new supercomputer, Pree, who possesses prophetic capabilities.
S10.E3 ∙ Lemons
After a botched installation of a rejuvenation shower, the Dwarfers are transported to Earth in the year 23 AD.
S10.E4 ∙ Entangled
After losing poker to GELFs, Lister is strapped to a groinal exploder rigged to explode unless he delivers what he gambled. Concurrently, Kryten and Cat find themselves a state of quantum entanglement, acting in absolute synchronicity.
S10.E5 ∙ Dear Dave
Lister receives word from the 3 million year old letter of his old flame that he's the potential father of her incoming child.
S10.E6 ∙ The Beginning
Hiding in an asteroid, surrounded by a Simulant Death Ship and its fleet of Annihilators, the Dwarfers wonder if this is the beginning of the end. Only one man can save them. Unfortunately, that man is Arnold J. Rimmer.
S11.E1 ∙ Twentica
The Dwarfers find themselves in an alternative version of America where modern technology is prohibited, making Rimmer and Kryten illegal. The Dwarfers infiltrate the tech savvy underground and try to bring down the authoritarian regime.
S11.E2 ∙ Samsara
When the Dwarfers investigate a crashed ship at the bottom of an ocean moon, Lister and Cat become trapped together and Lister's nightmare begins. Meantime Rimmer and Kryten discover the ship is controlled by a dark force.
S11.E3 ∙ Give & Take
After an altercation with a deranged droid Lister has his kidneys organ-napped. The only solution is to ask Cat, the most selfish creature in the universe, to give him one of his.

After a scandalous piece of good fortune Rimmer saves the life of a bio-printed Captain and is promoted, fulfilling his life-long dream of becoming an Officer.

Cat takes time off from being in love with himself to fall head over heels in love with a lady Cat with a big secret.

The crew uncover an abandoned research facility where several infamous historical figures have been rehabilitated of their evil ways.

The Dwarfers are captured by a militant mechanoid group, intent on liberating Kryten and enslaving the others.
S12.E3 ∙ Timewave
A time phenomenon ripples through time, revealing a ship heading straight into the path of an oncoming gas moon. The crew venture on-board, but the ship's unorthodox anti-criticism law proves hard to handle.
S12.E4 ∙ Mechocracy
When all the machines on Red Dwarf go on strike, the boys compete in an election against each other to gain control of them.
S12.E5 ∙ M-Corp
After installing the latest software update the Dwarfers discover that the owners of Red Dwarf, Jupiter Mining Corporation, have been bought out by a corporation and only products made by them are visible to their employees.

When Red Dwarf starts acting up Kryten reveals a device he has been working on that Rimmer borrows. Is there really a universe where he is not a gigantic loser?
