Carla and Alex invite some friends over for game night, including Gabby and Mr. Guillory and Ms. Helen and her new beau, but things don't turn out as planned. While playing with a baseball bat in Kaci's room, Alexis puts a hole in the wall and the kids try to cover it up.

When Carla gets a "Save the Date" card from her ex-husband's upcoming wedding, it brings up unresolved issues with him. Alex recommends she go and talk to her therapist. The kids struggle with the request to donate some items to charity.

Carla gets invited to speak on a relationship panel for a Women Empowering Conference. The other panelist, Dr. Stokes, has very different views on how to get a man. Keenan is chosen to join a popular group at school, the "Fresh Five Fraternity."
