Rick and Beau search the Fourt River below Sterling Castle, where William Wallace faced off against British King Edward Longshanks. Later, they investigate sites where the Battle of Bannockburn was fought.
Episode two sees our intrepid River Hunters visit the River Avon beneath the medieval Warwick Castle. Synonymous with Shakespeare, the river has a much darker history as it once ran red with the blood of thousands of slain soldiers, when it was at the heart of one of the defining battles in the Wars of the Roses. Teaming up with one the UK's few diving archeologists, Gary Bankhead, Rick and Beau discover an array of artefacts ranging from the time of The Wars of The Roses to the Victorian age in Warwick. Next they head down the river to Tewkesbury to find a WW2 helmet and Victorian crockery.
A major battle at a castle on the River Trent found Monarchist forces caught between Parliamentary and Scottish armies during the English Civil War. The team looks for evidence in this river, which has never been searched.
The team investigates the River Trent, including at Repton and Tamworth, following the path of the Great Heathen Army led by Ivar the Boneless, searching for relics the Vikings left behind.
Rick and Beau search for evidence of Roman occupation in river crossings near Hadrian's wall in northern England.
This time on River Hunters at the edge of one of Britain's greatest castles, Rick, Beau and Gary battle the forceful River Tees in County Durham. In the first archaeological river search of this spot ever, the boys search for lost Tudor relics.
