When mysterious thefts stir rumors of the Phantom Thieves, the two transform into Detective Precure, using courage, deduction, and friendship to solve cases and uncover the secret of Anna's journey through time.

Anna goes to Makoto Mirai Academy, Mikuru’s school, to give Mikuru an umbrella, but then she meets a troubled woman named Mariko who is looking for her little sister Keiko. Meanwhile, Mikuru is asked by the school’s Chairwoman to solve a case involving a ghost in the high school.
