After learning of Mike's secret, Jessica wants him fired, but Harvey stalls and tries to find a way not to.

With Hardman back and knowing that it's a matter of time before he challenges Jessica for control, she decides to make sure she has enough support, so she asks Harvey to go out and get it. The problem is that he rubbed so many members of the firm the wrong way. He tries to get the head of the firm's bankruptcy department to side with Jessica when the time comes, but the man feels Jessica treats him like dirt. Harvey tries to get his support by getting man building a building that's over budget to declare bankruptcy, but the man doesn't want to do it, so Harvey and Mike try to get the bank to get an extension. When the head of the department learns what Harvey is doing, he warns him that this will not get him to support Jessica. Mike, after finally hearing Rachel's message, tells her he did.

Hardman tries to ingratiate himself by asking Jessica to let him handle a case wherein they're trying to keep some nurses from going on strike, but Jessica lies that she already gave it to Harvey to negotiate a contract. Hardman tries to horn in by getting Mike to give him some info. Meanwhile, Jessica tells Louis that Harvard considers not allowing them to recruit because the firm's approval rating is low, so he brings in someone from Harvard to check them out and gets told something he doesn't like.
