S2.E5 ∙ Big Foot
A serial rapist is on the loose and women across the city are terrified. With Captain Sheridan and the news media breathing down their necks, Hooker and Romano are convinced the suspect in custody isn't the real culprit.
S2.E6 ∙ Terror at the Academy
When a sniper is taking out cops, the department tries to find out who it is. In the meantime, Hooker is training cadets at the academy and one of the cadets is the shooter. When Hooker meets him, he has an uneasy feeling about him. Hooker then does a background check on him and discovers that he is using the identity of a man whom he served with in Vietnam and Hooker learns that the man is some kind of mad dog killer and criminal. The man then plants explosives at the academy and threatens to blow it up unless they give him what he wants. When he booby traps the academy where he set himself up, Hooker thinks that he and Romano, being Vietnam vets, to have the best chance of dealing with him.
S2.E7 ∙ The Survival Syndrome
Romano is wounded while foiling an auto theft and a TV news crew's distorted video implies Hooker shot an unarmed suspect. Hooker sets out to rebuff the D.A.'s investigation by busting the ring and finding the evidence that will exonerate him.
S2.E8 ∙ Deadly Ambition
When an old friend of Hooker's is shot while trying to stop a robbery at the store where he works as a security guard. A detective who's extremely ambitious suspects that Hooker's friend was the crew's inside man who got a change of heart and that's why he got shot. Hooker tries to prove him wrong. In the meantime, the detective is leaning on his snitch, to give him something. But he knows the crew personally and he and the leader try to find a way to get him to back off.

An ambitious drug lord directs a street gang to deal high-grade heroin in Hooker's beat, meanwhile setting up a hearing-impaired teenage gang member to take a murder rap, but Hooker suspects the boy is innocent and vows to help him.

Hooker teams with an independent trucker and a pet orangutan to stop a trucking boss's attempts to start a war.
S2.E11 ∙ The Connection
Hooker and Romano will stop at nothing to squash a PCP operation after a schoolgirl hallucinating on angel dust tries to fly from atop her high school and a rookie cop friend of Romano's is almost killed when acting as an undercover narc.

The daughter of a cop who's an old friend of Hooker's is raped by someone she knows. The guy is apprehended but manages to find a way to get released. Hooker sets out to try and get enough evidence against the man. while his friend decides to break the law to get him.
S2.E17 ∙ Sweet Sixteen and Dead
A young prostitute is killed by her pimp which was witnessed by a former prostitute who works at a shelter that helps them. Hooker tries to find her before the pimp.
S2.E18 ∙ Raw Deal
Hooker and Romano team up with a Gamblers Anonymous counselor to bust a drug lord who blackmails compulsive gamblers into serving as drug mules.
S2.E19 ∙ Requiem for a Cop
A friend of Hooker's who was a cop turned P.I. was killed while he was investigating some arson fires. Hooker thinks he was killed by the arsonist because he was getting too close.

Sibling robbers hold Stacy, Fran and several hospital patients in exchange for their wounded father.
S2.E21 ∙ Payday Pirates
Hooker and Romano team up with Jim Corrigan and his new rookie partner Stacy Sheridan to catch an armed robber who preys on people cashing their paychecks, among them Fran Hooker, whom he pistol whips and leaves in danger of blindness.
S2.E22 ∙ Lady in Blue
A shootout with a pair of gun shop robbers leaves a policewoman critically injured and emotionally traumatized. Hooker and Romano set out to bust the illegal weapons ring while also encouraging their colleague not to give up on life.

The bank robber who killed Hooker's partner 5 years ago returns. And Hooker is determined not to let him get away.

While Hooker is looking for an arms dealer, the trail leads him to Chinatown where he comes face to face with a man whose wife Hooker was involved with years ago, when she thought her husband was dead. Hooker is unaware that this is the actually man he is looking for. While in Chinatown, Hooker also encounters the daughter of the woman, and realizes that, based on the timeframe of their relationship, she could be his child.
S3.E5 ∙ The Shadow of Truth
Someone trying to kill Lisa Jericho, a reporter who is relentless in her pursuit of the truth and a friend of Hooker. They try to make it appear that one of the persons she was writing about was the target but failed. Hooker senses this and tries to find out who has it in for her.
S3.E6 ∙ Walk a Straight Line
When a cop is killed, his partner who is an alcoholic tries to get the man but his addiction impedes him. Hooker tries to get him to get help but he won't admit to his problem.
S3.E7 ∙ A Child Is Missing
A guy who robs a jewelry store also kidnaps his son to get back at his ex-wife. Hooker vows to get the boy back. Hooker thinks the man is in Mexico so he goes there and works with a local cop who's a bit laid back in his approach.
S3.E8 ∙ The Trial
When Hooker and Romano respond to a robbery with two other cops. Romano and one of the cops who came are shot. And the other cop, a woman is accused of not coming to backing them up, because of an incident from her past. When she is about to face a board of inquiry, she asks Hooker to be her advocate and Romano feels like Hooker is betraying him.
S3.E9 ∙ Matter of Passion
Hooker probes the death of a girl whose body he found while jogging on the beach.
S3.E10 ∙ Blue Murder
When several criminals are being gunned down, everyone wonders who is doing it. And when Hooker was with one of them before he was taken out, even he wonders. He gets a line on a possible witness and they find her, she says that the man was killed by a pair of cops. Later they use Hooker to get one of their targets that's when he sets out to get them.
S3.E11 ∙ Undercover Affair
A cop now a fed whom Hooker knows has gotten close to a major drug dealer. The Feds want to bust on major deal but they're worried that if any of his small operations are busted that he won't push through with the deal so they tell the police to back off but people are dying from his drugs. So Hooker tries to find a way to do both.
S3.E12 ∙ Slay Ride
Stacy realizes a couple who foiled a drug raid are a team of robbers.
S3.E13 ∙ The Lipstick Killer
Hooker and his team track a psychotic nurse-killer who sends flowers to his future victims.
S3.E14 ∙ The Snow Game
A drug ring is responsible for the execution-style murder of narcotics officer.
S3.E15 ∙ Exercise in Murder
Stacy disappears while posing as a TV aerobics dance instructor to help crack a series of murders and thefts.
S3.E16 ∙ Hooker's Run
Hooker tries to get something on a criminal whom they have trouble getting anything on. When the informant he sends gets killed Hooker tries to get his ex, a hooker to testify against him. They later learn that the criminal has someone on the inside looking after him, someone he knew since he was a kid. When the safe house is hit Hooker and the girl go on the run. But they have to find some insulin for her cause she's a diabetic.
S3.E17 ∙ Hot Property
Hooker and his colleagues take part in a drugs raid at a scrapyard. Afterwards, the body of a policeman is found; he wasn't involved in the raid and Hooker begins to suspect the officer was corrupt. Meanwhile, Stacy, who logged in the heroin seized, crosses paths with her former fiance, a lawyer who (unbeknown to her) has links to the same drugs gang. When he engineers a switch whilst the drugs are in transit to the LCPD laboratory, Stacy is suspended and eventually decides to quit the force. Hooker must solve the case, whilst saving both Stacy's career and her life.
S3.E18 ∙ Death on the Line
The latest victim of the Marina Rapist - and the first to survive - is known to Hooker, but she resists his request to admit what really happened for fear of losing her boyfriend. Even when one suspect is killed whilst trying to escape a crime scene, Hooker isn't convinced the Marina Rapist's crime career is concluded.
S3.E19 ∙ Death Strip
While posing as a male stripper for a drug investigation, Romano witnesses a murder.
S3.E20 ∙ Psychic Terror
Hooker is ordered to work with a psychic to find a kidnapped little girl. The psychic has visions showing where the child is and Hooker uses police investigative work, and together they find the girl.
S3.E21 ∙ Gang War
Hooker and the department have been working on getting two Hispanic gangs to settle their differences. But when an attempt is made on one the gang leaders and the ones who did it were wearing the colors of the other gang but the other gang swears they didn't do it. But when more attempts on other gang members are made a war is brewing. Hooker tries to get them to calm down. What they don't know is that an arms dealer wants them to go to war so he can sell them weapons.
S3.E22 ∙ Deadlock
Hooker and Romano come across what appears to be a robbery in progress. they go in and when they confirm it, they try to call for back up but some kids who were spray painting take the cruiser leaving them with no way to call for back up. They confront them and eventually Romano is hit and Hooker gets trapped in the elevator with one of them with no ammunition.
S4.E1 ∙ Night Vigil
Stacey walks in when a robbery is being committed and is shot. They learn that she was shot with bullets that penetrate the protective vests that police officers wear. Hooker is determined to find the one who shot her even if it means jeopardizing his career.
S4.E2 ∙ The Two Faces of Betsy Morgan
Hooker tries to help a teenage prostitute after several murders in the red-light district.
S4.E3 ∙ Pursuit
Hooker pursues two robbers at high speed, resulting in the injury of a pregnant teller.
S4.E4 ∙ Hardcore Connection
A friend of Hooker's who is working vice is shot and killed. Investigations show that he appears to be on the take. Hooker doesn't believe it and is determined to clear his friend's reputation, helped by a former prostitute.
S4.E5 ∙ Anatomy of a Killing
Hooker works with another cop, who's a friend to get some drug dealers. But during their investigation, they discover that his friend's daughter is not only involved with the people they are looking for but she's also an addict.
S4.E6 ∙ Target: Hooker
Romano faces the possibly permanent loss of his sight, and his girlfriend dies, when Hooker becomes the target of a vengeful killer.
S4.E7 ∙ Model for Murder
