The bank robber who killed Hooker's partner 5 years ago returns. And Hooker is determined not to let him get away.

When a girl Hooker and Stacy knows goes missing, she goes undercover as an exotic dancer at a club she applied to.
S3.E3 ∙ Chinatown
While Hooker is looking for an arms dealer, the trail leads him to Chinatown where he comes face to face with a man whose wife Hooker was involved with years ago, when she thought her husband was dead. Hooker is unaware that this is the actually man he is looking for. While in Chinatown, Hooker also encounters the daughter of the woman, and realizes that, based on the timeframe of their relationship, she could be his child.
S3.E5 ∙ The Shadow of Truth
Someone trying to kill Lisa Jericho, a reporter who is relentless in her pursuit of the truth and a friend of Hooker. They try to make it appear that one of the persons she was writing about was the target but failed. Hooker senses this and tries to find out who has it in for her.
S3.E6 ∙ Walk a Straight Line
When a cop is killed, his partner who is an alcoholic tries to get the man but his addiction impedes him. Hooker tries to get him to get help but he won't admit to his problem.
S3.E7 ∙ A Child Is Missing
A guy who robs a jewelry store also kidnaps his son to get back at his ex-wife. Hooker vows to get the boy back. Hooker thinks the man is in Mexico so he goes there and works with a local cop who's a bit laid back in his approach.
S3.E8 ∙ The Trial
When Hooker and Romano respond to a robbery with two other cops. Romano and one of the cops who came are shot. And the other cop, a woman is accused of not coming to backing them up, because of an incident from her past. When she is about to face a board of inquiry, she asks Hooker to be her advocate and Romano feels like Hooker is betraying him.
S3.E9 ∙ Matter of Passion
Hooker probes the death of a girl whose body he found while jogging on the beach.
S3.E10 ∙ Blue Murder
When several criminals are being gunned down, everyone wonders who is doing it. And when Hooker was with one of them before he was taken out, even he wonders. He gets a line on a possible witness and they find her, she says that the man was killed by a pair of cops. Later they use Hooker to get one of their targets that's when he sets out to get them.
S3.E11 ∙ Undercover Affair
A cop now a fed whom Hooker knows has gotten close to a major drug dealer. The Feds want to bust on major deal but they're worried that if any of his small operations are busted that he won't push through with the deal so they tell the police to back off but people are dying from his drugs. So Hooker tries to find a way to do both.

Stacy realizes a couple who foiled a drug raid are a team of robbers.
S3.E13 ∙ The Lipstick Killer
Hooker and his team track a psychotic nurse-killer who sends flowers to his future victims.
S3.E14 ∙ The Snow Game
A drug ring is responsible for the execution-style murder of narcotics officer.
S3.E15 ∙ Exercise in Murder
Stacy disappears while posing as a TV aerobics dance instructor to help crack a series of murders and thefts.
S3.E16 ∙ Hooker's Run
Hooker tries to get something on a criminal whom they have trouble getting anything on. When the informant he sends gets killed Hooker tries to get his ex, a hooker to testify against him. They later learn that the criminal has someone on the inside looking after him, someone he knew since he was a kid. When the safe house is hit Hooker and the girl go on the run. But they have to find some insulin for her cause she's a diabetic.
S3.E17 ∙ Hot Property
Hooker and his colleagues take part in a drugs raid at a scrapyard. Afterwards, the body of a policeman is found; he wasn't involved in the raid and Hooker begins to suspect the officer was corrupt. Meanwhile, Stacy, who logged in the heroin seized, crosses paths with her former fiance, a lawyer who (unbeknown to her) has links to the same drugs gang. When he engineers a switch whilst the drugs are in transit to the LCPD laboratory, Stacy is suspended and eventually decides to quit the force. Hooker must solve the case, whilst saving both Stacy's career and her life.
S3.E18 ∙ Death on the Line
The latest victim of the Marina Rapist - and the first to survive - is known to Hooker, but she resists his request to admit what really happened for fear of losing her boyfriend. Even when one suspect is killed whilst trying to escape a crime scene, Hooker isn't convinced the Marina Rapist's crime career is concluded.
S3.E19 ∙ Death Strip
While posing as a male stripper for a drug investigation, Romano witnesses a murder.
S3.E20 ∙ Psychic Terror
Hooker is ordered to work with a psychic to find a kidnapped little girl. The psychic has visions showing where the child is and Hooker uses police investigative work, and together they find the girl.
S3.E21 ∙ Gang War
Hooker and the department have been working on getting two Hispanic gangs to settle their differences. But when an attempt is made on one the gang leaders and the ones who did it were wearing the colors of the other gang but the other gang swears they didn't do it. But when more attempts on other gang members are made a war is brewing. Hooker tries to get them to calm down. What they don't know is that an arms dealer wants them to go to war so he can sell them weapons.
S3.E22 ∙ Deadlock
Hooker and Romano come across what appears to be a robbery in progress. they go in and when they confirm it, they try to call for back up but some kids who were spray painting take the cruiser leaving them with no way to call for back up. They confront them and eventually Romano is hit and Hooker gets trapped in the elevator with one of them with no ammunition.
