The Bad Guy
The show revolves around a Sicilian public prosecutor named Nino Scotellaro who devoted his whole life to fighting the Mafia and finds himself accused and condemned of being a mafioso himself.

When the super boss Mariano Suro escapes capture for the umpteenth time, the magistrate Nino Scotellaro is convinced that someone very powerful is protecting him. Nino himself will pay the price for that truth.
S1.E2 ∙ Moles
Nino is willing to try everything to take out the Cosa Nostra boss, Mariano Suro. Thanks to a brilliant idea, he returns to Sicily in disguise to avenge what has been taken from him.
S1.E3 ∙ Tu quoque...
Nino, who has now hung up his magistrate's robes for good, is welcomed by the Tracinas, the rival clan to Suro's, and with their help he begins his revenge. To defeat Suro, though, they need men and weapons.
S1.E4 ∙ Nature can't be stopped
Nino's arrival upsets the balance of power in Wowterworld, the Tracinas' base. Nino, who has never liked receiving orders, is ready to do anything to get what he wants, even to challenge Don Salvatore Tracina.
S1.E5 ∙ I saw a light
The power vacuum allows Nino to adopt a new and atypical command strategy for a Mafia clan: democracy. To defeat Suro, though, he also needs the support of the other Mafia families who have long hated Suro but never rebelled.
S1.E6 ∙ At which moment in time
Nino goes further than anyone has ever dared before, but he soon realizes that his magistrate's methods are not enough: to catch Suro he has to fully become part of the criminal world he has always fought.
