S1.E1 ∙ Five Go Mad in Dorset
In the 1950s, four children, Anne, described as a 'proper little housewife', the rather butch George who has an unhealthy relationship with her dog Timmy and their brothers Dick and Julian, whose relationship seems to be more than fraternal, go on a cycling holiday in Dorset where their flair for detection - plus their snobbery and xenophobia - gets a whole string of suspicious characters arrested.

1985:- England has been invaded by the Warsaw Pact countries and middle-class couple Hermine and Godfrey retreat to their rural hide-away but after witnessing a bunch of incompetent commandos kill each other, they get separated.
S1.E3 ∙ The Beat Generation
In the monochrome world of 1960, pretentious Alan, violent Kix and sex-mad Eleanor are part of a colony of beat poets, living a hedonistic, unreal existence in a large villa overlooking the sea. Dumped by his girlfriend Jeremy is anxious to be part of their circle until two girls from the outside world and a wild party open his eyes to what really matters.

A documentary crew films heavy metal band Bad News as they have trouble starting their van, pick up a schoolgirl groupie, and meet up with rock journalist Sally at a motorway service station where they argue about the cost of sausage and chips.
S1.E5 ∙ Summer School
A motley band of suburbanites arrives at a summer school to simulate life in an Iron Age village. However the village is right in the middle of a modern university campus which somewhat detracts from its air of authenticity.
S2.E1 ∙ Five Go Mad on Mescalin
On their way to stay with Mrs French at Hot Turkey Farm, the Famous Five hear on the radio their Uncle Quentin's escaped prison. Arriving at the farm they're appalled to meet the vulgar millionaire, Mr Budweiser and his spoilt son, Willy. Julian and Dick are so incensed, they sleep outdoors where they spy 2 heavies being secretly villainous. The trail leads to Love Island, where they discover Uncle Quentin and his boyfriend Toby.
S2.E2 ∙ Dirty Movie
Postman Bean is anxious to end his round early in order to catch a morning showing of 'The Sound of Muzak' at his local cinema. However, he is unaware that the cinema manager Terry Toadstool is using this as a smoke screen to view a pornographic film and that Bean's wife, traffic warden Monica, is the star.

In rural England, school teacher Susie Darling is planning to leave her boring husband Martin for lusty mechanic Dave when she meets romantic former pop star Garry Dreadful, who has moved to the village to start a traditional farm and asks her to live with him.
S2.E4 ∙ A Fistful of Travellers' Cheques
Two students calling themselves Carlos and Miguel arrive in Spain dressed as gunslingers to live out their dream of being in a spaghetti Western. At a cafe in a remote town they meet two Australian girls who have picked up a scruffy hitch-hiker and a would-be rapist dressed as a matador.

A hoodlum is turned in to a celebrity when he steals a cab and subsequent events are blown out of proportion by the media.
S2.E6 ∙ Eddie Monsoon, a Life
Eddie Monsoon is a South African entertainer who, following the failure of several pilot shows for TV in his homeland, faked his suicide, went to Brazil and then to England where he attracted notoriety with his explicit sex farces on the stage and shocking TV shows which even Channel 4 banned.
S2.E7 ∙ Slags
Teen-age gang leaders Passion and Little Sister are released from prison, only to find that their gang the Slags have disbanded due to rival gang, the Hawaiians, who wear garlands and drink Pina Coladas.
S2.E8 ∙ The Bullshitters: Roll out the Gunbarrel
Janie, daughter of Commander Jackson, the head of D15, has been kidnapped and there are only two men who can save her - former agents Bonehead and Foyle.
S3.E1 ∙ "Consuela" (Or 'The New Mrs Saunders')
Jessica, the second Mrs Saunders, arrives with her new husband John at his country estate. Very much left to her own devices she is unnerved by the power that Consuela, the sinister Spanish housekeeper,seems to wield, comparing her to John's first wife and forbidding her to enter a mysterious locked room.
S3.E2 ∙ Private Enterprise
Whilst delivering toilet rolls to a recording studio, small time crook Keith pockets a demo tape by newly disbanded group Toy Department, which he takes to a promoter, Brian. Together they have a chart hit with the 'mystery' group but complications arise when Brian wants a live tour.
S4.E1 ∙ The Strike
Paul, a former miner, writes a hard-hitting left-wing screenplay about the 1984 miners' strike. It is accepted by a Hollywood film company but gets turned into a distorted action thriller film in which Arthur Scargill is portrayed by Al Pacino.
S4.E2 ∙ More Bad News
Four years after they were last the subject of a documentary, Bad News get back together again for another film of their exploits, beginning with a reunion gig at the Flying Horse.
S4.E3 ∙ Mr. Jolly Lives Next Door
A couple of bored escorts find themselves suddenly involved with a hit-gang and an ax-murderer - Mr. Jolly. Gratuitous violence, rivers of blood and maximum hilarity, all rolled into one.
S4.E4 ∙ The Yob
Patrick is a director of avant-garde music videos. Whilst at a UB40 concert, he walks into what he believes to be a portable toilet but is actually a matter transportation pod being used for an illegal experiment. As a result, his personality is changed to that of a yobbish, Cockney Arsenal supporter.
S4.E5 ∙ Didn't You Kill My Brother?
Carl Moss leaves jail, where he has taken the rap for his evil twin Sterling, and has been declared a model prisoner. Pauline Sneek, his probation officer - and girlfriend - gets him community work teaching youngsters how to lead law-abiding lives. This displeases Sterling, as he needs the young delinquents for his bicycle stealing ring.
S4.E6 ∙ Funseekers
High season in Ibiza sees the tourists arriving for the 'funseekers' package holiday. Trendy Jamie is riled when the annoying Tony moves into his room but gets the chance for revenge when he discovers from his passport that Tony is too old to be part of the Club 18-30 clientele, leading to Tony being banned from group activities.
S5.E1 ∙ South Atlantic Raiders: Part 1
Two security van personnel plan to rob a bank in an attempt to raise enough cash to mount a rescue mission when a dictator invades the Falklands.
S5.E2 ∙ South Atlantic Raiders: Part 2 Argie Bargie!
In the conclusion of this special two-part story, Stan has somehow managed to make it to the Falklands, which have indeed been taken over by the Argentinians after all. He is tied to a stake alongside Frances who he has finally met and been captured with. The pair are sentenced to death by dictator, General Galtieri. Stan, in a desperate attempt to stall for time, recounts how he and his fellow 'South Atlantic Raiders' managed to make it all the way to the Falklands. After just escaping from prison and making their getaway in an ice cream van.
S5.E3 ∙ GLC: The Carnage Continues...
From the Hollywood production team that gave the world "The Strike" comes yet another blockbuster. In this one, Ken Livingstone, played by Charles Bronson, elected leader of the G.L.C., must prevent the evil Tories from flooding London in order to turn it into a yacht club.
S5.E4 ∙ Oxford
When American comic actor Steve 'Zoo Zoo Zoo Off Come My Pants' Wild arrives in Oxford to make a comedy film, his girlfriend Caroline goes behind his back to enroll in a poetry course. Meanwhile, Hannah Van Hosenstratt comes from New Orleans for the course and is tricked into believing she has a place by the dean, but the professor has other ideas.
S5.E5 ∙ Spaghetti Hoops
In a monochrome city which is shamelessly London although everybody acts as if it is Rome, banker Aldo Vini is on the run from Mafia boss Corelli, from whom he has embezzled two million. Corelli hires Mig and Mog, two inept hitmen to go after Vini, killing any witnesses as they go, but when they finally catch up with him, they have no idea what to do with him and confuse Corelli's instructions with their shopping list.
S5.E6 ∙ Les Dogs
Les Dogs are the band playing in a large marquee to celebrate the wedding of Geoffrey and Angela. During the reception, the fathers of the groom and bride exchange insults and a gun battle ensues in which many guests - and Les Dogs - are casualties though the happy couple escape. Victor, who has wandered in on the scene, is asked to take wedding photographs and has a series of dreamlike fantasies all based around his infatuation with Angela.
S6.E1 ∙ Red Nose of Courage
A clown is not happy with his job at his father's circus so he gets into politics, and some weeks later he is the Prime Minister John Major. But after his day job, he has to attend to his real job as Coco the Clown. He falls in love with the leader of the opposition party but she falls in love with Coco the Clown without knowing that he is in fact John Major, the Prime Minister.
S6.E2 ∙ The Crying Game
Roy Brush has aspirations to be a great footballer and this seems likely when he scores for England in the European Cup Final. To add to this he becomes a national hero, having seemingly saved a young lad from drowning. But Roy has a secret - he is gay - and the editor of the scurrilous 'Scum' tabloid is making it his business to out him. However, with the help of his manager, Roy is able to triumph at an inspirational climactic football match, where his tears touch the heart of the nation - and pundit Jimmy Twizzle gets very high on mushroom tea.

Jed, a New York cop, brings home the last Christmas turkey in the shop for his wife Sue. Unfortunately they make a dramatic discovery whilst stuffing it - namely that it is not dead.
S7.E1 ∙ Detectives on the Edge of a Nervous Breakdown
When the lead star of 'The Gourmet Detective' mystery show is mysteriously bumped off. A bunch of various detectives from television shows from the seventies are teamed up with a television detective of the nineties to solve the crime.
S7.E2 ∙ Space Virgins from Planet Sex
A craft full of Space Rats,glamorous extra-terrestrials from the planet Sex,arrive on Earth desperate to find men with whom they can procreate in order to ensure the continuity of their race and whom they imprison in their sex factory. Fortunately for the world the secret agent James Blond,a decidedly non-feminist secret agent,sets out to rescue the men and see off the Space Rats in his own inimitable way.
S7.E3 ∙ Queen of the Wild Frontier
Convicts Mick and Gary are being escorted to the dentist when their prison van has an accident and they wind up at a remote farmhouse occupied by Fiona and Susie, two sex-starved sisters who have been waiting to have babies with the right men,and whilst these two may not be the right ones,they are certainly available.
S7.E4 ∙ Gregory: Diary of a Nutcase
Governor Wilkins brings rookie cop Lucille Bromley to see the imprisoned cannibal Dr Genghis in order to gain information about a serial killer. At the same time the extremely boring Gregory Dawson,who is interested in serial killers,is building his own torture chamber and making a very mundane video diary about his life. However the two worlds are shortly about to collide.
S7.E5 ∙ Demonella
Music producer Arnold Silverstein is desperate for a song hit so when the Devil - a woman - supplies him with the answer to his dreams,a piece called 'Demonella' he is anxious to fulfill his part of the deal,to give the Devil his mother's secret recipe for chicken soup to serve her celebrity guests in Hell.
S7.E6 ∙ Jealousy
Despite trying to cure himself with a hypnosis tape John Pettigrew is insanely jealous of his wife Jane Margory and convinced she is having an affair with her handsome water aerobics instructor. Seeing a name and number in her diary he follows her in drag,only to find it is a transvestite club she is covering as a journalist and where he is embarrassingly chatted up. In the event his suspicions are correct but the proof comes as a cost.
S8.E1 ∙ Four Men in a Car
Four salesmen Alan, Ian, Steve and Tim are on their way to a conference where only one of them is guaranteed promotion. There is much bickering, Steve is perpetually sick and gets put in the boot, the C.D. player jams and they have a run-in with a Range Rover driver. When the car breaks down in a snow storm they wind up in a deserted cottage with a shotgun-wielding, diabetic woman.
S8.E2 ∙ Four Men in a Plane
Salesmen Alan,Ian,Tim and the pushy Tony are on a plane on their way to a sales conference. Alan joins the mile high club with a model in the toilet but Tim is annoyed that he is two air miles short of joining the others in club class. On arrival in North Africa they decide to charter a plane rather than face a fifteen hour coach journey to the conference.
S8.E3 ∙ Sex Actually
Colombian Luccio and his girlfriend Angie move into a respectable part of Berkshire. They later learn that Ron and Helen, the previous owners of their house died mysteriously. Angie discovers that their neighbours, estate agent Roy and his wife Jane, high court judge Charles and his bickering wife Carol, Bilbo a conceptual artist and his partner Diana, were all members of a wife-swapping circle who usually met at Ron and Helen's house. Luccio, who later reveals himself to be a police inspector, is curious as to how Ron and Helen died, so lines up all the suspects.
S9.E1 ∙ The Hunt for Tony Blair
This 'Fifties Fugitive' movie,a clever pastiche of monochrome British B films,opens with the police arriving to arrest prime minister Tony Blair for murder - well,he did allow himself to be abducted by a thug called George Bush and collude in murdering a bunch of Afghans. Aided by Barbara Windsor, Blair goes on the run but none of his peers will give him sanctuary.
S9.E2 ∙ Five Go to Rehab
The Famous Five are back. Thirty years after the Comic Strip arrived on our screens with their famous Enid Blyton spoof - Five Go Mad in Dorset. These famous children's characters have again been brought back from the past to confront today's modern world. This time they are made to account for their racist and sexist views. But they seem blissfully unrepentant as they gather for a reunion on Dick's birthday in leafy Dorset - still a magical land of rolling hills, woods, ruined castles and of course dodgy villains in big black cars.
