S1.E1 ∙ Pilot
Drew's best friend Kate begs him to hire her at Winfred-Louder, the department store where he works, after she gets fired because of a breakup with her deadbeat boyfriend. Drew is hesitant because he isn't supposed to hire his friends. While holding an interview for a job in the cosmetics department, Drew meets Mimi Bobeck, a hostile and argumentative woman who twists Drew's words and lands him in hot water with Mr. Bell, his boss.
S1.E2 ∙ Miss Right
Mr. Bell hires Mimi as his assistant to keep her from filing a complaint about Drew's "harassment". She vows to make his life a living hell. Drew meets attractive job applicant Lisa and the two become friendly fast. However, once Lisa is hired, he is worried about dating her because of how it would look for management to be dating an employee. Meanwhile, Drew's neighbors cause trouble next door.
S1.E3 ∙ The Joining of Two Unlikely Elements Is a Mixture
Kate is depressed when another wedding shower is held at work and she realizes that most women her age are married or are getting married; she's always dreamed of having a wedding of her own. Drew, Oswald and Lewis decide to cheer her up by throwing a fake wedding party for her and Drew at the Warsaw. The guys wonder why none of them ever dated Kate and, later that night, Drew confesses to Kate the crush he had on her in high school.
S1.E4 ∙ Nature Abhors a Vacuum
Drew fires Suzie, an inept employee, only to find out she was Mr. Bell's mistress. Kate proposes her idea for a day spa to Mr. Bell, who is so impressed he wants to meet with her and Drew at the Warsaw to discuss it. Unfortunately, Drew discovers Mr. Bell is only interested in making Kate his latest conquest.
S1.E5 ∙ No Two Things in Nature Are Exactly Alike
Kate's ex-boyfriend Barry refuses to pick up his stuff and makes incessant phone calls to Kate at work. Drew attaches a cartoon to the bottom of a memo in the hopes of boosting company morale. Most employees are amused by it, but one offended employee complains to Mr. Bell. Drew becomes obsessed with finding out who it was that got him in trouble.
S1.E6 ∙ Drew Meets Lawyers
Drew turns down the Winfred-Louder attorneys when they try to get Drew to settle the lawsuit by signing a waiver that absolves the store of any responsibility. Drew hires a lawyer, who happens to be an insufferable ex-boyfriend of Kate's, but is left high and dry when he has to fire his lawyer for making passes at Kate.
S1.E7 ∙ Drew in Court
Drew gets ready to defend himself against Nora's lawsuit but isn't very successful. Nora cries on the stand to get everyone's sympathy and the outlook is pretty bleak for Drew. Because of the stress of the case, Drew loses it during an argument at the Warsaw, gets arrested for assault, and has to doubly defend himself.
S1.E9 ∙ Drew and Mrs. Louder
Mrs. Louder, the widow of the store's founder, offers Drew a job as her personal assistant; the position comes with a pay raise and a guarantee he will be in the running for head of personnel. Drew is between a rock and a hard place because he's unsure if he wants to change jobs but is afraid he'll be fired if he doesn't accept Mrs. Louder's offer.
S1.E10 ∙ Science Names Suck
When Kate starts neglecting the guys after she gets a new boyfriend, the gang starts hanging out with Jay Clemens, an old school buddy they run into at the Warsaw. Kate eventually breaks up with her boyfriend and is outraged that Jay has seemingly taken her place in the gang. Everything comes to a heated and surprising end the night of Drew's birthday party.
S1.E11 ∙ The Electron Doesn't Fall Far from the Tree
Drew's father George is back in town to accept a lifetime achievement award from his lodge, the Wildebeests. He convinces a reluctant Drew to join him at one of the meetings to help convince Drew to become a member. However, Drew is disgusted to find that most of the lodge members are racists and exclude people from membership because of their race.
S1.E12 ∙ Isomers Have Distinct Characteristics
The employees at Winfred-Louder go on strike and Drew, while sympathetic, is forced to hire replacements. Despite promising not to let the strike hurt their friendship, Kate gets angry with Drew for letting Mimi and Oswald replace her at the cosmetics counter. As the weeks go by, tensions start to run high and Drew is pressured to take a side once and for all.
S1.E13 ∙ Drew and the Unstable Element
Kate complains to Drew about a creepy employee named Earl, whom she thinks is crazy. Drew thinks Kate is paranoid until he finds that Earl is delusional and extremely unstable. When Drew fires Earl after he refuses to see the company psychiatrist, Earl threatens Drew and begins stalking him.
S1.E14 ∙ Drew and Mr. Bell's Nephew
Mr. Bell promises Drew a promotion in exchange for training his nephew Blaine, who turns out to be a lazy, nepotistic pest. Kate mistakenly sells a giant bottle of extremely expensive perfume for much less than it's worth and turns to Drew for help. Meanwhile, Blaine becomes such a nuisance that Mimi and Drew call a truce and form an unholy alliance to force him out of the store.
S1.E15 ∙ There Is No Scientific Name for a Show About God
The store closes early because of an ice storm and circumstances force Drew to miss his carpool with the Optimist Club. The Optimists get in an accident and a man dies. Drew believes divine intervention kept him from being in the accident and decides to contact his old pastor about becoming a minister.
S1.E16 ∙ Drew's New Assistant
Drew's hopes of a personal secretary are dashed when Mr. Bell gives the job to Mimi so he can hire Suzie as his own assistant. Drew and Mimi's continued bickering put both their jobs on the line and Drew is horrified when he discovers pictures that suggest Mimi is secretly in love with him.
S1.E17 ∙ The Front
Mrs. Louder is furious when she discovers Mr. Bell's affair with Suzie and forces him to fire her. Mr. Bell takes revenge by threatening to fire any member of management who is caught dating an employee. This means Drew and Lisa have to jump through hoops to keep seeing each other and avoid being caught, especially by an on-the-prowl Mimi.
S1.E18 ∙ Playing a Unified Field
Lisa encourages a reluctant Drew to move on and see other people like she has. He asks out his thrill-seeking barber Sioux, who manages to get Drew in a fight and, even worse, strikes up a friendship with Mimi. Just when Drew starts to wonder if he can keep up with Sioux, Lisa calls and tells him she's found a way they can date in public. But how can he tell Sioux and survive?
S1.E19 ∙ Atomic Cat Fight
Drew is in hot water when Lisa and Kate find out he promised both of them the head personal shopper job. And just to send Drew farther over the edge, Mimi is also in the running for the position. Drew decides to be diplomatic and have all three of them shop for the store's most difficult customers. Whoever performs the best, wins the job.
S1.E20 ∙ Drew and Kate and Kate's Mom
Kate's mom takes Kate and the gang out to dinner for Kate's birthday. Kate avoids telling her mother she's dating anyone because her mom always disapproves of her boyfriends. Jay thinks Mrs. O'Brien is in a mental hospital but when Lewis lets the truth slip, Kate has to make up for it by inviting Jay to dinner at her mom's house. Just as Kate suspected, her mom worries Jay is on the rebound and tries to convince Kate that Drew is the right man for her.
S1.E21 ∙ Drew Gets Motivated
The company motivational speaker encourages Drew to tell his bosses about his idea to use animal mascots in commercials for the store. Drew's idea is such a raging success, Mrs. Louder promotes him to head of promotions. Drew doesn't want to leave the personnel department but has to take the promotion. Unfortunately, Drew can't exactly handle the pressure of his new job: come up with fresh ideas each week or get fired.
S1.E22 ∙ Buzz Beer
Mimi and Drew find a secret memo that announces a Dutch company is planning to buy the store and they assume all the employees are going to be fired. Depressed about possibly losing his job, Drew and the gang visit a small business expo and eventually get the idea to brew and sell their own coffee-flavored beer.
S2.E1 ∙ We'll Remember Always, Evaluation Day
Drew and Lisa's relationship gets rocky, all they do is argue every day. At work Winfred-Louder staffers suck up to Drew on employee evaluation day, but Lisa is livid when she sees her less-than-complimentary evaluation early.
S2.E2 ∙ Something Wick This Way Comes
Drew is outraged when the company refuses to promote him to permanent manager, instead hiring Englishman Nigel Wick, who turns out to be a crooked character who bribes Drew with the promise of the assistant-manager job if he'll be Wick's "bad guy" regarding company cutbacks.
S2.E3 ∙ Break It Up, Break It Up
Moving in together puts a real strain on Drew and Lisa's relationship and Drew goes to great lengths to avoid going home at night. Thinking Jay would propose, Kate is confused and hurt when he says he's moving to Minnesota without her.
S2.E4 ∙ The Bully You Know
Drew runs into old high school bully Simon Tate (guest star Norm MacDonald) at the Warsaw. Simon apologizes for how he behaved as a teenager and seems to have changed his ways. Drew gives an out-of-work Simon a job at Winfred-Louder but he soon starts pushing everyone around just like in the old days.
S2.E5 ∙ The Devil, You Say
Kate starts dating a new guy named Jack. He interviews for a position in the store and Drew is disturbed to find that Jack thinks he is the devil. Kate is sure Jack is just joking but soon finds out otherwise. When Kate tries to dump him, Jack claims she sold him her soul and says she can never leave him.
S2.E6 ∙ The Day the Music Died
Drew is depressed after learning his high school band teacher, Ms. Blankenship, has died. He organizes the band to play a tribute performance for her and is furious when no one takes it seriously. When the gang questions Drew about it, he reveals that he lost his virginity to Ms. Blankenship. He considers the experience very special. However, Drew is dismayed to find out he was not the only male student seduced by the attractive music teacher.
S2.E7 ∙ What the Zoning Inspector Saw
Drew meets Bonnie (guest star Caroline Rhea) at the Warsaw and brings her home to see his brewery. Once she finds out he doesn't have a permit, she admits that she's a zoning inspector and has to report him. Drew organizes a party and sells maps to the location in order to give away the beer. Bonnie shows up at the party with her friend who ends up being a cop. Bonnie's friend threatens to arrest Drew and the gang for soliciting to sell alcohol. The party disbands but things get complicated when Drew and Bonnie sleep together after everyone leaves.
S2.E8 ∙ Drew's the Other Man
Drew is upset when Bonnie refuses to go out on dates with him in public. She always wants to stay over at his place and order take-out. Drew thinks Bonnie is concerned about his financial situation but he wants to do something special for her. Drew surprises Bonnie at her apartment with a gourmet meal, only to find out she's married.
S2.E9 ∙ Mimi's Day Parade
Drew's hopes of a relaxing holiday weekend are crushed when Mr. Wick makes Drew in charge of Winfred-Louder's Thanksgiving Day parade. Crunched for time, Drew has to make a deal with Mimi that she can be the "snow queen" in the parade if her father's trucking company supplies the equipment for the floats. Unfortunately, Mr. Wick chooses someone else to be grand marshal and Mimi sabotages the parade.
S2.E10 ∙ It's Your Party and I'll Crash If I Want To
Drew feels left out when popular salesman Dexter Roberts hang outs with all the other employees and embarrasses Drew in front of the whole store. Drew finds out Dexter is throwing a huge company party and only Drew and Mimi aren't invited. The two put aside their differences and decide to crash the party and ruin everyone's fun.
S2.E11 ∙ Lisa Gets Married
Drew inadvertently agrees to organize a wedding shower for his ex-girlfriend Lisa when he mistakenly believes the bride is an elderly employee also named Lisa. Lisa's fiancé Trent, according to Drew's new system that ranks employees by performance, is first in line to be fired from the store. Lisa thinks Drew is acting out of spite because he hasn't moved on but Drew insists it's because Trent is a poor employee. Drew talks with Trent and is unnerved when Trent has an epiphany and decides he wants to call off the wedding.
S2.E12 ∙ They're Back
Drew is worried when he hears about a hurricane hitting Florida near where his parents live. Unexpectedly, his parents show up at his place and admit they've been traveling in their Winnebago because they lost their house. Worst of all, Beulah lost her life savings in a land development scam. Drew plans to let them stay over for a few weeks until the lawsuit is settled but is torn about what to do when his parents lose the case.
S2.E13 ∙ Hello/Goodbye
Drew is getting fed up with the filthy, unsafe conditions in Oswald and Lewis' apartment and threatens to take their landlord to court. But when the landlord finds out Drew has been living with the guys without a lease, he evicts all of them. The three of them end up on Kate's doorstep and she reluctantly agrees to let them stay with her for a few days. Everyone pressures Drew to stand up to his parents once and for all and take back his house.
S2.E14 ∙ Drewstock
After realizing there is no way to profit from Buzz Beer, the gang decides to shut down the brewery and throw a party with free beer to get rid of their supply. Drew meets a woman at the Warsaw and invites her to the party but can't remember her name or number. Mimi puts a flier about Drew's party in the Winfred-Louder newspaper as revenge for an earlier prank. Drew's hopes of finding his mystery woman dwindle when everyone in the city of Cleveland (including the mayor, Browns quarterback Bernie Kosar, Little Richard, and Joe Walsh) shows up at his house for the party.
S2.E15 ∙ Drew Blows His Promotion
Oswald and Lewis plan their usual prank war for Drew's birthday and tease Kate for not being able to compete with their elaborate jokes. Meanwhile, Drew volunteers to update the store's training films in hopes of earning a promotion. Kate hopes to win the prank war by tampering with Drew's training video and showing it at his birthday party. Unfortunately, Drew unknowingly takes the tampered tape to work and presents it to the board.
S2.E16 ∙ Check Out Drew's Old Flame
Drew's down-payment on a car bounces because of a bad check at a garage sale. He finds out the woman who wrote the check was Kyra, his junior-high girlfriend. She claims her roommate wrote checks from her account to cover his gambling debt. Drew invites Kyra to stay with him but begins to doubt her when his car is repossessed after her second check bounces.
S2.E17 ∙ See Drew Run
Winfred-Louder employees risk their lives get to work each day because the crosswalk from the parking deck to the store is at an intersection near the freeway. When a member of the Optimists Club is severely injured while trying to cross, Drew demands the store build a skywalk to the employee garage. When his complaints are ignored and Lewis and Oswald are hurt while trying to cross, Drew decides to take drastic measures by going on a hunger strike.
S2.E18 ∙ Drew Gets Married
Drew returns disheveled and frustrated after a convention in Las Vegas. After losing his luggage and all of his money, a waitress named Diane took pity on him and they went out for drinks. She took Drew to a rock and roll chapel to get married and he went through with it, thinking it was a drunken prank. Unfortunately, the ceremony was legal. Diane admits she needed to get re-married in order to keep custody of her two kids. She convinces Drew to pose as her husband for a week to fool the social worker.
S2.E19 ∙ Man's Best Same Sex Companion
Drew finds out Speedy's hip problem is getting worse but there's hope in a new operation that could restore the dog to his old self. The problem is the operation costs 2,700. Nora recommends Drew use his company insurance to pay for it. Winfred-Louder has same-sex health benefits; all Drew would have to do is claim the operation is for his lover. Drew agrees but ends up having to prove he is gay by hiring Oswald to play his lover "Aaron".
S2.E20 ∙ Two Drews and the Queen of Poland Walk Into a Bar
Earl is released from prison and swears he's a changed man. Drew is ill at ease when Earl moves in next-door and starts watching his every move. Earl claims he is observing Drew so he can assimilate back into society. Eventually, Earl starts dressing like Drew and even remodels his house to look exactly like Drew's. Everything comes to a head when Earl pulls a gun on Drew and the gang, admitting he wants to kill Drew and take over his life.
S2.E21 ∙ Cap-Beer-Cino
The gang discovers someone else is marketing a coffee-flavored beer called Cap-Beer-Cino. The owner, Chris Vanderkamp, openly admits stealing the idea but has enough lawyers to keep him in the clear. Cap-Beer-Cino becomes a sensation at the Warsaw, which leaves the gang desperate for business.
S2.E22 ∙ Drew vs. Mimi: Part 2
When the employee representative to the board is forced to retire, Drew, Mimi, and Larry are thrilled over the possibility of taking over the position that offers a considerable raise and requires little work. The competition to impress Mr. Wick, Mrs. Louder, and the board of directors turns from friendly rivalry to an outright brawl.
S2.E23 ∙ Win a Date with Kate
Kate is annoyed the guys offered a date with her as a prize in a contest for Buzz Beer. Mr. Wick finds the winning bottle cap and Kate reluctantly goes through with the date. The guys are stunned when Kate and Wick seemingly fall for each other. Little do they know, Kate and Wick are playing a prank as revenge for the contest. However, Mr. Wick may not be pretending.
S2.E24 ∙ New York and Queens
After a disastrous trip to New York to sell Buzz Beer, the gang makes a shocking discovery: The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975) has been replaced as the weekend midnight movie with The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert (1994), leading to a drag-off in the streets with Mimi and her Priscilla cronies.
S3.E1 ∙ Drew vs. Billboard
Drew worries his physique is holding him back at work when Mr. Wick picks a robust employee to attend a convention in Hawaii instead of him. A guy at the Warsaw overhears Drew's plight and claims to have the solution: a weight-loss pill that activates when taken with beer. He offers Drew a free bottle if he poses for before and after pictures. Days later, Drew is horrified to see his shirtless "before" photo on a billboard in town.
S3.E2 ∙ Drew and the Singles Union
As a violent storm looms over Cleveland, the store lets all employees with families go home early to spend time with their kids, leaving the single employees to fend for themselves at work. Upset over the situation, Drew proposes creating a union for single employees. Everyone runs for cover in the basement as a tornado approaches but Mr. Wick is caught in the store right as the twister strikes. Mimi sees a golden opportunity when she finds Mr. Wick traumatized and disoriented the next day.
S3.E3 ∙ Strange Bedfellows
Drew decides to turn over a new leaf by becoming more assertive. He taps into the boardroom to see the footage of his meeting and hear his evaluation. Drew ends up getting more than he bargained for when he and Mimi see Larry and Mrs. Louder having sex in the boardroom. Meanwhile, Mimi still has a confused Mr. Wick living at her house and Kate and Oswald begin secretly dating.
S3.E4 ∙ Misery Loves Mimi
Just when Mr. Wick is getting back on his feet, Mimi tricks him into thinking another storm has hit the city. She continues to run the store by signing Mr. Wick's name on all the orders. Drew becomes suspicious of Wick's disappearance so Mimi issues a memo that says he's fired. With a heavy heart over losing his job, Drew keeps pursuing real estate agent Nicki Fifer (who thinks he's a loser for being unemployed) while Kate and Oswald break the news about their relationship.
S3.E5 ∙ A Very, Very, Very Fine House
The government seizes Drew's house after Larry's antics in the previous episode. They plan to sell it at auction. Drew gets an idea from Nicki to declare bankruptcy on the house to get out of debt and then have Lewis bid on it on Drew's behalf. Tensions erupt as Drew has a difficult time accepting Kate and Oswald as a couple.
S3.E6 ∙ Drew vs. the Pig
Drew is amazed to find out Nicki was overweight in the past but managed to lose 85 pounds. In support of her strict diet, Drew vows to lose 10 pounds. Mimi mocks Drew and claims Nicki lied about her past to pressure Drew into losing weight because she's embarrassed of his appearance. Doubt begins creeping into Drew's mind so he starts searching for proof of Nicki's past weight troubles.
S3.E7 ∙ Batmobile
Drew wins the Batmobile in a contest at a fast food restaurant. Nicki and the gang are amazed Drew was offered 200,000 in lieu of the car but turned it down. Drew's outlandish prize starts to cause problems in his relationship with Nicki when she refuses to let him drive the Batmobile when they meet her parents for a dinner date.
S3.E8 ∙ The Dog and Pony Show
Mr. Wick is roped into dog-sitting Mrs. Louder's prized show dog; it's very valuable because of its unique coat and breeding capabilities. Wick ditches the responsibility by leaving the dog with Drew without consulting him. Kate drops the dog off at Drew's and doesn't have time to leave a note. When Drew gets home, he assumes the dog is a stray and takes it to the vet. Kate returns later and is horrified to find the dog shaved and neutered.
S3.E9 ∙ Drew's Brother
Drew's older brother Steve pays a surprise visit; he's down on his luck after going through a broken engagement and losing his job. Kate convinces Drew to give Steve a job in the cosmetics department. One afternoon at work, Drew is astounded to find his brother dressed in women's clothes, complete with a wig; Steve reveals he is a cross-dresser. Upon this discovery, Mr. Wick demands Drew fire Steve immediately.
S3.E10 ∙ That Thing You Don't
The gang decides to get the old band back together for a battle of the bands contest at the Warsaw. Kate desperately wants to be lead vocalist but the guys are hesitant because she's an awful singer. The guys run into Herb, an old high school rival, who is confident his band will crush Drew's in the contest. The gang is determined to win but the guys know they won't if they let Kate sing.
S3.E11 ∙ Volunteer
Drew's pastor convinces him to volunteer at a seniors' center, where the residents have a reputation for being difficult. Mr. Wick hears about it and convinces Mrs. Louder to require all the employees to "volunteer" at retirement homes for the good publicity. Gus, a resident at the retirement home, talks Drew into taking the seniors to the store so they help with inventory. Gus takes a bunch of photographs and tells a local news station that Drew is abusing the residents. The elderly start picketing Winfred-Louder and Drew is at risk for losing his job.
S3.E12 ∙ Vacation
Winfred-Louder holds a desk-decorating contest for the employees, with the winner receiving two tickets to the Bahamas. Drew creates an entirely edible cubicle and Kate dances on top of her desk. Mr. Wick calls them co-winners and gives them each a ticket. Drew is worried about being alone with Kate because of his feelings for her in the past. Lewis accidentally spills the beans about Drew's fears, which leads an enraged Oswald to stow away on a courier flight to the Bahamas in order to confront Drew.
S3.E13 ∙ Howdy Neighbor
The Buzz Beer tank explodes, causing beer to rain down all over the Clemens' yard. Drew invites them over for dinner to convince them not to sue. Janet talks Greg into investing in Buzz Beer so the gang can replace the tank. Greg agrees on the condition he can call all the shots. The gang is forced to work constantly so Drew decides to get Greg drunk to loosen him up.
S3.E14 ∙ He Harassed Me, He Harassed Me Not
Mr. Wick is panicked upon finding a memo he thinks is about firing him. Wick convinces Mimi to plot a phony sexual harassment scheme with him. Mimi will claim Wick harassed her, file suit against the store, and the both of them will split the winnings on a tropical island. Wick makes a "pass" at Mimi in front of Drew. When Drew refuses to be bribed into silence, Mrs. Louder demotes him to the sales floor. Drew becomes suspicious of Mimi and Wick when he finds out they opened a joint bank account in the Cayman Islands.
S3.E15 ∙ Mr. Louder's Birthday Party
Mrs. Louder asks Drew to make a toast at birthday party honoring her late husband. The best toast wins 500 shares of company stock. Drew struggles with what to say because Mr. Louder was a terrible person. Oswald and Lewis agree to attend the party to support Drew but Nicki doesn't want to go because she's gained weight. Nicki finally shows up and Drew decides to make her feel special by dedicating his speech to her. Drew's plan proves disastrous as the spotlight is aimed right at Nicki while she's pigging out.
S3.E16 ∙ The Salon
Kate hopes to get promoted to wardrobe buyer but Mrs. Louder doesn't think she has enough class for the job. She and Drew organize a salon at his house where everyone can discuss social and political issues. Mrs. Louder pays a visit to the salon and ends up in a heated argument with Kate over Internet censorship.
S3.E17 ∙ The Engagement
Oswald announces his plans to move in with Kate. Drew's jealousy gets the best of him and he ends up in an argument with Kate. Oswald accuses Drew of pining for Kate and then insists he and Kate are more compatible than Drew and Nicki. The guys decide to test their relationships by slipping in questions from a magazine compatibility test during their Valentine's Day double date.
S3.E18 ∙ Nicki's Parents
Drew and Oswald buy their engagement rings. Drew plans to give the ring to Nicki at dinner when he meets her parents for the first time. Drew is stuck eating dinner alone with the Fifers when Nicki gets snowed in at her sister's. One tense evening ensues as the Fifers blame Drew for their daughter's shortcomings and eventually start arguing amongst themselves about their lackluster marriage. Mrs. Fifer decides to move out while Mr. Fifer tries to convince Drew to help him meet new women.
S3.E19 ∙ Two Weddings and a Funeral for a Refrigerator

Drew and Nicki plan to videotape themselves having sex. The next morning, Drew's parents come to town to celebrate his engagement. Drew tries to tell his mother about a problem with his relationship but is constantly interrupted. Drew eventually tells Beulah he has called off the wedding. She begs Drew to go through with the bachelor party and break the news to George afterward because of how depressed he's been.

Lewis confiscates a sex drug from DrugCo after nearly being attacked by several monkeys who had used it. Drew prepares to be the sole witness in Mimi's "sexual harassment" case while under the influence of the sex drug.

After Mr. Wick is injured at work during an elaborate and cruel plan to fire an employee, Drew is placed in charge for the week. Drew adopts a "no firing" policy that works wonders until employees start taking advantage of Drew's generosity. The store starts to fall to ruins just as Mrs. Louder's return looms.

A gorgeous handywoman named Sharon visits Drew's house to fix several appliances that were broken during a drunken celebration the night before. Oswald and Lewis push Drew to ask her out while Kate is sure Drew is on the rebound and likely to hurt Sharon. Drew finally gets the courage to ask Sharon out but she insists on being only friends.

Drew meets a woman at the Warsaw who recommends he attend her dating advice service. He agrees only to be publicly embarrassed when the instructor shows a videotape of Drew's date as "a teaching aid". Drew is the laughingstock of the class despite the fact that most of them are career losers who are still virgins. Drew seeks the help of the Better Business Bureau to shut down the advice center but ends up needing class advice when he scores a date with a Bureau employee.

It's Drew's turn to host the family barbecue for all the Carey cousins. Drew's 18-year-old cousin Kristen comes to the party while looking at colleges. Kristen asks Drew if she can stay at his place until a dorm room opens up at Cleveland State in the fall. Drew agrees but is horrified when Kristen starts dating Mr. Wick.

Mrs. Louder calls Drew to tell him he's been chosen to coordinate hiring for the new stores in Europe. The catch is Drew has to get to the boardroom within 10 minutes to secure the position. The universe seems to be against Drew's success as numerous obstacles, including a broken elevator, an irate customer, and a blocked staircase, get in his way to the boardroom.

Kate and Oswald start planning their wedding but find they won't be able to afford many luxuries. The gang heads to a discount bridal shop and discovers Kate's dream wedding dress costs $5,000. Kate is devastated but Drew is determined to see her happy. He manages to scrap up enough money to buy Kate the dress. The problem is: Oswald plans to surprise Kate with a knockoff dress he bought for her.

Drew's groupie girlfriend Darcy dumps him when she discovers that Drew isn't a full-time musician. He drowns his sorrows by starting a steamy online affair with a mystery woman. Steve shows up at the Warsaw dressed in drag and Drew stands up for his brother when a bar patron behaves obnoxiously. Steve's transvestite friends start coming to the Warsaw as a show of support for Steve. Drew and the gang become annoyed when the Warsaw is so inundated with cross-dressers that all other customers stop coming to the bar. Steve is livid when the bartender starts a policy of discounted drinks "for real women only" and is even more appalled when Drew refuses to back him up.

Drew claims to be happy for Nicki when he finds out she's getting married. When he gets an invitation to her wedding, the gang is sure it's just a "courtesy invite" and discourage him from going. Drew decides to take his new date to the wedding and ends up making a fool of himself when Nicki's parents make known how little they think of Drew.
S4.E8 ∙ Drew's New Car
Drew is in charge of selecting the Winfred-Louder employee of the year, who will win a trip to Hawaii. For the first time ever, a non-Louder may actually win because all the Louders have seemingly already won. Oswald receives his check for testing the breast implants and decides to repay his friends for all the money he's borrowed over the years. When Drew's car is totaled, the gang pools all their money to buy him a sleek new VW Bug.

Drew pulls off an elaborate practical joke on Mimi and brags she will never be able to retaliate. Days later, Drew wakes up on the Great Wall of China with no money or passport. He is left clueless and wandering around China in search of the U.S. embassy. Meanwhile, Kate, Lewis, and Oswald become concerned when they find out Drew never made it to his business trip in Winnepeg and suspect Mimi has something to do with his disappearance.

A local corporation wants to buy all the houses in Drew's neighborhood to make way for a mall on the lot. Drew isn't pleased but promises to think it over. While at work, Drew finds out Winfred-Louder is behind the mall construction plot and Mr. Wick tries to convince him to sell. Wick agrees to have Drew's house moved to prime lakefront property. However, Drew arrives home he finds his house has literally been sawed in half; the corporation moved half the house a week ahead of schedule.
S4.E15 ∙ A House Reunited
Celia offers her support in Drew's fight against Winfred-Louder because of what they did to his house. Meanwhile, Drew has to get by living in half a house with no heat or electricity. Despite his destitute situation, Drew asks Celia to move in with him. Oswald, Lewis, and Kate start to get freaked out by Drew and Celia's relationship as they start behaving more like mother and son than boyfriend and girlfriend.
S4.E16 ∙ Rats, Kate's Dating a Wrestler
When the Warsaw has to temporarily close, the guys reach out to "The Disciplinarian", a popular professional wrestler, to be the spokesman for Buzz Beer. Drew greatly disapproves when Kate starts dating The Disciplinarian because all of her relationships tend to end in disaster. Things eventually start to go south when The Disciplinarian stops working out in favor of getting drunk, so much so that he misses important public appearances.
S4.E17 ∙ Three Guys, a Girl and a B-Story
Lewis scores a date at a science-fiction convention, and Oswald unknowingly asks out the same woman when he delivers a package to her house. Then Drew runs into this woman at work and asks her out. Oblivious that they're dating the same woman, each guy is thrilled to have a new girlfriend.
S4.E18 ∙ Boy Party/Girl Party
Drew has problems getting any time alone with Tracey because Lewis and Oswald keep monopolizing her. Following Kate's suggestion, Drew holds a slumber party at his house to appease the Winfred-Louder models. While the party is going on, Drew plans to sneak out to see Tracey. Unfortunately, an unexpected blizzard keeps the models away and keeps Drew from seeing Tracey. Lewis and Oswald find out about Drew's plot and vow to get revenge.
S4.E19 ∙ Tracy Bowl
All three of the guys vie for the chance to take Tracey to an upcoming wedding, the winner officially being declared in a relationship with her. Drew and Oswald both unknowingly pull the same dirty trick on Lewis, which gets him sent to the hospital. The two of them decide to call a truce and let Lewis get the girl. Oswald succeeds in getting Tracey to reject him but Drew underhandedly stabs both his friends in the back in hopes of winning Tracey's affection.

Lewis is excited to be in line for a promotion to head of the janitorial department at Drug Co. Drew is upset when he finds his dog Speedy is developing cataracts. Lewis gets Speedy into an experimental treatment program but the process takes at least a week to complete. Lewis is elated when he gains the promotion but is dismayed when his boss denies ever seeing Drew's dog. Lewis decides to risk his new job by sneaking the gang into Drug Co. to rescue Speedy.
S4.E21 ∙ Steve and Mimi
Drew is forced to lay off dozens of workers and offers Steve a place to stay when he ends up on the chopping block. Mimi stops by Drew's with another list of people to fire and is instantly attracted to Steve when she sees him out of drag. They set up a date and keep it a secret from Drew. Mimi is disappointed when Steve dresses in drag on their date and agree to be friends. But when Drew gets home he's shocked and disgusted to find Steve and Mimi making out. He tries to get over his revulsion at the Warsaw but can't handle it when he gets home to find Steve and Mimi having sex in his kitchen.
S4.E22 ∙ What's Wrong with This Episode II
Drew and Steve are distressed when their longtime barber Phil dies. Beulah comes to town a week early for an anniversary party Drew is throwing for her and his dad and insists on going to the funeral. The gang sees Beulah kiss Phil's corpse and overhears a nasty argument between her and Phil's widow. They begin to suspect Beulah had an affair with the charismatic barber.
S4.E23 ∙ She's Gotta Have It
Sharon is dejected after being dumped by her boyfriend and plans on drowning her sorrows at the Warsaw. Once closing time rolls around, Drew invites Sharon over for one more beer at his place and promises to be a gentleman. Suddenly, Sharon jumps him and Drew is thrilled at the prospect of starting a relationship with her again. But when Drew tries to make a follow-up date with her, Sharon tells him she's only interested in sex.
S4.E24 ∙ Good Vibrations
Drew is chosen to give a speech at a convention in Chicago. An annual practical joke war starts between the gang and Drew is humiliated when airport security finds a vibrator in his suitcase. The representatives at the convention tease and poke fun at Drew for it throughout his speech and refuse to take him seriously. Drew is certain Mimi tampered with his suitcase and vows to get her fired. Little does he know, Sharon is actually the one who planted the vibrator so she could be a part of the prank war.
S4.E25 ∙ Do the Hustle
Steve and Sharon suggest going on a double date to put a stop to Drew and Mimi's constant bickering. The date ends up a disaster when Drew and Mimi refuse to stop insulting each other during dinner. Drew and Mimi are left to call for a cab at a bowling alley when Steve and Sharon leave them to fight amongst themselves. Drew and Mimi end up bowling against a couple cocky doctors and easily hustle them for four hundred dollars. The sworn enemies agree to meet at the bowling alley nightly to continue their scam.
S4.E26 ∙ Up on the Roof
Oswald's mom moves back to Cleveland and decides to open a beauty salon. She hires Sharon to repair the salon roof upon Drew's suggestion despite Sharon's inexperience with roofing. After the roofs blows off during a storm, Mrs. Harvey demands Sharon re-do the roof even though Sharon claims she isn't responsible for the accident. Lewis and Oswald get into an argument when Lewis sides with Sharon which leads to Lewis moving out.
S4.E27 ∙ Brotherhood of Man
Mr. Van Zandt, the head of a Dutch ownership group, announces that all employees are receiving a month-long vacation while the store is remodeled. However, Drew still has to work which ruins his weekend plans with Sharon. He plans a secret picnic in the store but the date goes sour when Drew and Sharon overhear Mr. Van Zandt say he plans to fire all the employees and flatten the store into a parking lot. Drew confronts Van Zandt, who offers Drew another job in Toledo in exchange for his silence. Instead of backing down, Drew decides to use unconventional means to convince Van Zandt to save the store.

Drew's girlfriend Sharon hints at moving in with Drew but senses he actually loves Kate because in his diary he refers to her as Kate. Drew swears he loves her and has her build him a Y2K shelter but has to try another grand gesture.

Lewis scams Bo Derek into coming with him. Kate reconnects with a former nerd now wealthy and good-looking. Oswald meets a beautiful classmate he doesn't remember but she remembers him. Drew cozies with a cheerleader with a really bad side.

Drew worries about passing the physical at work; Doreen still wishes to be like Mimi.

Drew persuades Lord Mercer to re-hire his daughter Milan as president of Winfred-Louder. She holds an in-store rave that seriously boosts sales but he still isn't pleased. Lewis eats the human liver that Oswald brought home for medical classes.

Because of his support in her struggle to manage Winfred-Louder, Milan invites Drew to her birthday party with supermodels in Spain. When security lines delay him from catching his flight, he tries to bypass them and is pulled aside.
