S1.E1 ∙ Away Game
As a favor to Derwin, Melanie attends the first Saber Sunbeam meeting of the season, only to learn that unlike the wives, football players' "girlfriends" are not considered legitimate and are treated as such by the other wives. On the same day, Derwin attends his first rookie seminar where he is given a lecture about gold diggers, STDs and is hazed by the other players. Later that night, Melanie and Derwin attend a party where Melanie, has a conversation with another player and is perceived to be flirting with him. When the player's girlfriend confronts Melanie, she realizes the rules of the game in the pros will take some getting use to.

Derwin invites Melanie to his first away game in Miami, but due to her heavy school load, she decides to pass. When Tasha and Kelly find out she is not going, they persuade her to change her mind by telling her away games are a playground for cheating. Meanwhile, Derwin's teammates are upset that he invited Melanie and tell him he needs to disinvite her, fearing the other wives will use her as a spy.

Assuming that she has been fooled again by Derwin, an intoxicated Melanie decides to get payback and tries to sleep with Malik.

Hoping to get more publicity for their celebrity marriage, Robin Givens and Malik plan a belated wedding reception, but Tasha decides to boycott the party since she believes their marriage is a sham and won't support it. Meanwhile, Rick Fox reluctantly introduces Tasha to his overly protective mother causing fireworks to ensue between the two headstrong women.

Kelly plans a fun evening out with the girls in an attempt to move forward with her life after splitting with Jason; Jason goes to one of Malik's parties, but he finds he has more to regret in the morning than just having too much to drink.

Believing her future with Rick Fox is over, Tasha begins dating other men. Melanie is trying to deal with dating two guys at once. Jason hopes to mend the relationship between himself and his daughter, who she blames for the separation of herself and her mom.

Derwin helps Jason try to win Kelly back, putting an end to all divorce talk, but then things go not as planned. When Robin tells Malik to stop fooling around with other woman in order to keep up the charade of their fake marriage, Malik decides to play by his own rules.

Also Derwin confronts Melanie about her relationship with the doctor at the hospital.

Tasha finds out that Rick's job is in jeopardy so she does everything in her power to prevent that from happening. The guys confront Jason about his inappropriate roasting of them as acorrespondent on his new sports show. Finally, Tasha and Kelly reconcile.

Malik continues his downward spiral of behavior, culminating in a drunken rage and assault against a police officer. He's arrested. Melanie is the new president of the Sunbeams. She gets carried away with hosting a charity event for young girls, but learns a lesson in humility after trying to exclude Jazz (ex-video vixen) from participating in the event.

The cast of The Game watch t.v. as they see Mallik gets arrested for pushing an officer. He then decides to temporarily quit playing football, because he decides to go to rehab in order to play football for the new season.
S4.E5 ∙ It Was All Good Just a Week Ago
After assaulting a police officer and getting a DUI, Malik is assured by his people that he is not going to jail. He later learns that the Sabers' owner is filling him with a false sense of security in order to kick him off the team. In order to avoid jail time and clean up his public image, Malik enters rehab on the advice of his mother, Tasha. Derwin is torn between his friendship with Malik and his reputation and image as "Der...Win". After he purposely misses Malik's press conference, their friendship may be broken.
S4.E6 ∙ Men in Crisis
Derwin tries to make amends with Janay by spending time with his son at her house, and it almost jeopardizes his relationship with Melanie. Elsewhere, Tasha learns a life lesson from Dante.

Malik, frustrated with rehab and convinced that he has no problems or addictions, leaves to attend a Sabers' party only to run into Jason and Derwin, who confront him about his reckless behavior and send him back to rehab to face his problems head on. Kelly tries desperately to hang on to the Sunbeams, only to learn that she is no longer embraced by the women of the Sabers.

Jason and Kelly, with aspirations to buy the Sabers, make their pitch to Roger Junior and eccentric investor, Herbie Lesser, but things go awry when Jason gets jealous.

Jason and Kelly are shocked when they find out that the Sabers have been bought by Herbie Lesser. Things continue to go downhill for Jason when he learns the Sabers are stricken with food poisoning. Meanwhile, chaos ensues when Rick Fox and Pookie show up at Tasha's place at the same time. Keira starts to question her relationship with Malik, and Chardonnay questions her relationship with Roger Junior.

Tasha panics when Pookie accidentally shoots Rick Fox. Chardonnay and Rick bond when she drives him to the hospital. At the urging of Blue, Malik leads the Sabers to a comeback win which sends them to the playoffs. Kelly and Jason sell their soul to Herbie Lesser to help Jason keep his coaching job. Malik pulls out all the stops when he proposes to Keira. And Tasha finally gets her happy ending.
